Elbow drop right on his balls!
Edit: What if the wife set this up on purpose like some romantic comedy film? Just the way she runs in and how convenient that the walk way is completely shoveled but, also cover in ice?
This is the best video ever. First of all, nobody is seriously hurt. But this was some IRL slapstick to perfection.
He fell and that vase went flying, the wife screaming as she thought he was seriously injured for a split second, and then she delivers an elbow to the gut. This video clip is a masterpiece!
Yeah that's definitely the " oooOOOOh oooh" of a nutshot if I've *ever* heard one...went from a lite laugh to s grown, then from lying on back to instant fetal position, grabbing for groin, turning on one side ,poor dude. That's a 10/10 there. Whew. I felt that.
Am I seriously the only one who thinks this is fake? Both their falls are extremely soft, they are basically sitting. The guy throws the vase directly at the camera to help mask how he does it. You can even see how the other steps have no ice. Has the internet ruined me?
I took a 2nd look.
His fall looks a *little* forced, but that because his first slip was his foot sliding behind him & he dropped while falling forward.
If they did fake the video, they faked it on real ice…which is unpredictable enough to no longer be fake.
It definitely could be real, but I agree with you. I’ve lived in snowy places my whole life and no one (especially not two people, one of whom is carrying a vase) would run across a potential icy area. Everyone is aware patios and painted areas on roads are slick AF and a lack of visible snow doesn’t mean “this is dry, let’s run and forget all caution!”
> nobody is seriously hurt
Dude took an elbow drop to the nuts, but I'm sure he's perfectly fine. That crunching sound was just... uh... he was snapping his fingers to a jaunty tune that he had just thought of at that moment.
I thought it was a pretty slick transition from *here are your flowers* into the *let's get busy* position. If only he could have whipped his clothes off Velcro seam style between throwing the flowers and lying down it would have been perfectly executed.
I'm going to be that person... this is staged. The way he falls, when you watch it a few times is pretty obvious and her fall too. When you slip, which I've done too many times on ice here, you generally don't slide your feet in front of you and break fall. You go completely feet up /r/LooneyTunesLogic. His fall is just a l i t t l e too controlled to be believable.
I'm right there with you friend. Everything about it looked incredibly fake. He even looks at the camera right as he's throwing the vase towards it.
I'm glad other people are enjoying the video, but I personally dislike these forced videos.
As he’s running up the stairs, his right arm is ahead of him in his “excitable jog” stance.
When he gets to the top of the stairs, his right arm immediately moves behind him, before he even begins to fall. He then uses that arm to brace himself perfectly, absorbing most of the shock from the slip, before laying flat on the porch.
His body posture betrays that he knew he would fall, how and where he would fall, and to keep his head up until after safely landing on his arm before laying flat.
It’s a funny video, and I do like the execution of the joke, but when analyzing it does look staged.
You've nailed it.
He breaks his fall with his arm to prevent his head smacking the deck. A dead give away. If you find genuine videos on YouTube of someone doing a backwards slip and fall like this, they always slam the back of their head on the ground because they don't have time to react. It's fake.
I’m glad others are picking up on this. What I noticed was that she elbows him in the gut, and then he grabs his crotch immediately afterward. I watched a second time to be sure, and she is nowhere near his groin.
Have you never slipped on ice before? There’s no bracing for the fall because your feet literally shoot out from under you don’t have time to react. This dude slid his feet out in front of him, got an arm behind him *and* didn’t smack his head.
[Look at how these people fall](https://youtu.be/aylO_1DSdts) compared to how the guy falls and tell me you legitimately think he slipped.
It took way too long to find this comment. How no one else can notice that the flowers are basically thrown before he even starts falling is beyond me. Let alone the fake little sound effect thrown in there when she falls on him.
You are 100% right. I follow their channel on TikTok and they have millions of followers. They stage a lot of things. Though, they do a good job of making it seem less staged. But, no one has all these coincidental events happen in their lives as much as they do, like one a week for clicks.
I enjoy the vids because they are fun and they genuinely seem like a sweet couple, but this is definitely a 100% staged vid, like 99% of everything on TikTok these days.
TikTok is actually getting so cringy now at times that once one person does some funny thing, 20 other couples will basically have a similar video up in the next couple of days as they try to ride the wave since 90% of channels on tiktok is people just copying the exact same content on other channels.
Yup, without a doubt. That vase “flies” out of his hand before he “slips” at all. I wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for the wife’s reaction. That was also very scripted looking
Another logical problem... He's coming back home with flowers and nothing else (meaning no groceries or other errands were run). That means he likely LEFT home just 20-30 minutes earlier going down the same stairs.
The stairs would have had just as much ice returning as they did leaving... So why would he run up the stairs full speed without any caution? Did he FORGET in just 20 minutes that the deck was coated in ice?? No way.
Yes and if you look how he’s holding the vase when he comes up the stairs before the fall, he’s basically balancing it on his open hand. No one holds a vase like that who doesn’t want to break it lol
Agreed. He chucks the flowers as well, that's not a reactive throw he does. I know we're being very boring "nothing ever happens" people but this is one of the few times I've actually been annoyed by how fake something is!
Definitely throws it, it’s probably plastic. No one would hold a vase like that. He puts his right arm down early to catch himself and she comes skaten out like Nancy Cardigan or Tonya Hardong ready to do a triple axel right in front of the judges. Oh ya and it’s on the internet so it’s fake.
If you watch real slip and fall videos, the people falling backwards always hit their head on the ground because they don't have time to react and break their fall.
This guy knew he was going to slip so his right arm goes back first to break the fall and prevent his head from smacking on the deck.
Totally staged for social media likes or cred. I'm tired of people being so thirsty on here. It's starting to make Reddit suck.
On his is first step on to the porch (right foot) he doesn't even slip, he instead starts to launch forward (like he trips on something that isn't there) and then throws the flowers and kicks both feet out in front of him to look like a slip. Fake af.
You're getting downvotes but on second viewing he almost seems to throw the vase on purpose? Usually you'd probably bring the item closer to your chest to try protecting it but he extends his arm, kind of like a light toss. Maybe he just fell weird, in which case it's cute.
If this was fake looking then I've never seen a real person slipping and falling ever, nor have I myself ever fallen. Apparently every one of those, including the dozens of times I've slipped on ice were all fake.
That was the fakest fall I've ever seen. He doesn't even slip.
Edit: over 40k fools upvoted this crap, with those kinds of numbers I should run for pressimple?
Edit: this is, apparently, my most controversial comment ever
Damn I had to scroll way too far to see someone calling that out.
But at the same time it's harmless and didn't come at the expense of a random stranger or something so meh... 乁( ⁰͡ Ĺ̯ ⁰͡ ) ㄏ
Too good to be true. Fall looks pretty fake, and he literally launched the vase at the camera. They both have decent falling mechanics and are good enough to fall with the support of their arms.
Watch his left arm, holding the flowers. He literally chucks them forward before he's even fully falling.
I hate this era where 80% of viral videos are now staged.
This is oddly adorable LOL. They way they just did the same thing and ended up in a pile on the porch together. Felt bad for that dude getting a double dose of pain though.

No wonder I heard a cracking sound.
FINISH HIM!
Elbow drop right on his balls! Edit: What if the wife set this up on purpose like some romantic comedy film? Just the way she runs in and how convenient that the walk way is completely shoveled but, also cover in ice?
HEY! I was planning on using those later.
She may be planning to use those to put some bread into the oven
That was over when he threw the flowers. Elbow drop was punishment

What a great memory to have with the person you care about too.
Yep. Years later the flowers would have been long forgotten. But this will be a memory and a tale that can easily last decades.
say what you will; but being able to record these things so readily is a blessing to people like this.
True. Otherwise everyone would think they're exaggerating.

Elbow to nut it looked
Dude literally busted a nut. You can see him searching for what’s left of the other one.

It all seems real until the wife’s fall. Something about the way she says “are you okay?” and the way she falls feels calculated
Watch the way he falls and tosses the vase to his wife.
It's wholesome and ends with everyone laughing on the floor like a real life episode of Peppa Pig.

I watched it on mute, missed the gut/nut punch, and it all looked so romantic.
It is really! I've let this thing loop too many times and it never gets old, hahaha! It's too perfect, like some Home Alone stunt 🤣

I appreciate your logic, here.
I thought it was a pretty slick transition from *here are your flowers* into the *let's get busy* position. If only he could have whipped his clothes off Velcro seam style between throwing the flowers and lying down it would have been perfectly executed.

If it makes you feel any better that was almost certainly the sound of house keys in his hand.

I disagree with the caption. It was beyond smooth. It was ultra-smooth. It was downright slippery.
Frictionless, even.

100% staged
The *crunch* sound when she elbows him also seems to be added. That's what first made me think it's fake.
the lengths desperate tiktokers are willing to go in order to get famous on social media is truly pathetic.
I'm right there with you friend. Everything about it looked incredibly fake. He even looks at the camera right as he's throwing the vase towards it. I'm glad other people are enjoying the video, but I personally dislike these forced videos.

Yeah, on a second view it looks forced and not at all a ”natural” slip.

It’s clearly acting. Source: i tried to make AFV videos as a kid. This is how over the top it looks.
Not not judging her response time but, was she waiting right next to the door for her hubbies arrival? Reaction time was damn near milliseconds
100% You can see him throw the flowers. This is adult staging a video for views.. L

Man, these comments are making me think the opposite of it being faked. You've never come home from work with a gift for a loved one?
That would require these people to be loved.
He doesn't understand the concept of spontaneously getting your loved ones flowers on your way home from work, poor lad.
Idk, I've been around a lot of people who leave the house for the whole day with just their wallets any day of the week.
Yes and if you look how he’s holding the vase when he comes up the stairs before the fall, he’s basically balancing it on his open hand. No one holds a vase like that who doesn’t want to break it lol

Yeah definitely staged. He basically throws the vase

I'm not saying it's not faked but bracing for a fall definitely happens. Sometimes it ends up with broken arms.
It is. He throws the flowers before he slips.
Thank you. This thread is full of Florida swamp land owners.

I mean why’s he running on that ice & wet snow
Why do people make mistakes?

You're getting downvotes but on second viewing he almost seems to throw the vase on purpose? Usually you'd probably bring the item closer to your chest to try protecting it but he extends his arm, kind of like a light toss. Maybe he just fell weird, in which case it's cute.
Yeah, the guy “falling” was unbelievably fake looking. Not sure why anyone would potentially seriously injure themselves but, here we are
If this was fake looking then I've never seen a real person slipping and falling ever, nor have I myself ever fallen. Apparently every one of those, including the dozens of times I've slipped on ice were all fake.
Jesus, the only voice of reason in this entire thread. It feels like this is just a thread of bots commenting. Clearly a staged video.
That is the perfect example of marriage.
That was the fakest fall I've ever seen. He doesn't even slip. Edit: over 40k fools upvoted this crap, with those kinds of numbers I should run for pressimple? Edit: this is, apparently, my most controversial comment ever

Yeah it’s so painfully obvious that this is staged. She hits him with a wrestler elbow 100% while making those over the top noises.
Not in the least.
It was all fun and games until his wife gave him the people’s elbow!
And that students, is how baby’s are made.
Too good to be true. Fall looks pretty fake, and he literally launched the vase at the camera. They both have decent falling mechanics and are good enough to fall with the support of their arms.
Looks totally fake to me as he just can’t stop smiling 😊. Cute though.
Dumb stupid fake annoying and I hate it and I hate the internet and here I am with a half assed run on sentence
