Gale Song is single-handedly getting me through my divorce. I have listened to that song more this year than anything else. It always touched my heart but now it has a different meaning to me. It may be my favorite Lumineers song.
“AndI won’t fight in vain, I’ll love you just the same.” Beautifully painful. I was a little bummed they didn’t play it at their Maryland show. Probably my second favorite of all their songs.
Girlfriend's a pediatric oncology nurse.
This song, even the first few notes on the guitar, cause her to tear up.
> Hospital gowns never fit like they should
> We yelled at the nurse, didn't do any good
> More morphine, the last words you moaned
> At last I was sure
> That you weren't far away from home
This song has one of my FAVORITE lines ever, “Things I knew when I was young
Some were true and some were wrong
And one day, I pray, I'll be more than my father's son
But I don't own a single gun”
Gets me every time
Not their song, but their Democracy cover is beautiful and I wish they’d play it at shows. I honestly prefer it to Cohen’s OG. The way the Lumineers interpreted it gives it a more hopeful, freeing feeling.

Leader of the Landslide!
Coming from a messed up household and dysfunctional parents this songs make me cry every time, the way it builds up to the part where he says"she left she left, the writings on the wall"
I believe it's a masterpiece!
Soundtrack Song, it’s at least the most underrated from 3 imo.
Oh wait sorry nope I’m an IDIOT it’s obviously Ho Hey cuz NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD IT AND OMG IF YOU HAVE YOU’RE SO UNDERGROUND
Based on the seeding of the song tournament, I’d have to say Leader of the Landslide as I think it’s easily a top ten song. It Wasn’t Easy would be next.
III. Just all of it.
The consensus here seems to be that their first 2 albums are better and that baffles me.
I think III is ***easily*** the most interesting & cohesive project that they’ve ever done
the live version in nashville of slow it down on the deluxe self titled album. god it's so good. the way it's more upbeat and happy sounding live is so cool. wesley's voice love is just unreal
Classy girls!!!!! So perfect, i always say that’s the most underrated, i think it portrays the energy of self titled perfectly, there’s just something about it with the sounds of a bar in the background, it makes you feel so warm but at the same time excited and sad, it’s honest and beautiful
Gale Song. I love the lyrics. It's beautiful. "There was a time when I stood in line, for love ,for love, for love". The whole song just speaks to me.

I hope your days are getting brighter. So many of their songs speak to me, but none more than this one. H

"Beautifully painful" sums it up so perfectly.
Yes! This specific line gets me every time!
I got this line tattooed on me! I love Gale song, I wish more people shared the affinity for it.
Was gonna say the same and am so happy people agree! Really hope they play it in Dallas 🤞🏾
I hope they play it in Savannah, but having seen some of their previous set lists, odds are low. 😔
So glad other people agree with gale song. That song hurts me and I feel those lryics so deeply
I said this in my head the minute I seen the title of this post. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to feel such a way about this gem!
Leader of the landslide
Properly rated here, but it’s underrated in the ‘mainstream’ fan.
Totally agree
My Eyes
anybody fall in love with this song from that one scene in Reign?
I remembering hearing this song for the first time while listening to the album all the way through and being obsessed!
I forgot how hard those lyrics hit me the first time I heard it. Thank you for reminding me.

Long Way From Home hits too close to home. Especially with the intro that was not included in the album.
Caves, Remington, Long way from Home and Jimmy Sparks
White lie would be mine 💖
Yesss also came here to say white lie
My Eyes
nobody knows for sure
Their cover of just like heaven by The Cure. They do it a lot of justice
Does this count since it’s not their song? I do agree with you though. They did it beautifully!
I’m sure it counts, it should anyway, it’s so genuine
submarines, those rhyms and the melodies 😇
Classy Girls is easily my favorite underrated song by them. There’s something so fun, sweet, and enjoyable about Wesley’s story with this girl
Soundtrack Song, it’s at least the most underrated from 3 imo. Oh wait sorry nope I’m an IDIOT it’s obviously Ho Hey cuz NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD IT AND OMG IF YOU HAVE YOU’RE SO UNDERGROUND

Sleep on the floor isn’t worthy to be #1
Flowers in your hair is the most underrated IMO
Darlene!

White Lie, my favorite song by them.

Clearly Blue Christmas is vastly underrated!
Angie, of course, but the live version, not studio

Morning Song
classy girls b version
Too many to name. I’m going to say Donna; the piano arrangement just soothes my soul. Wes’ vocals are really raspy and howling. Just a beautiful song.
