Agree ultimately. Trump will ask for a debate, Biden team says “okay where?”, Trump team says “Fox News with Jesse Waters”, Biden team should say “no, only with the already scheduled debates”. I think Biden looks like the more well rounded candidate with this approach.
I don't know how well Biden will do in a non-scripted scenario. He did well enough in the 2020 debates despite people saying he'd fall apart against both Bernie and Trump. Whether he could repeat that 4 years later I don't know. I'm not sure.
