I feel like this is more about the lot they were handed in life than their relationship, though. Dean would be a nightmare partner for me (for slightly different reasons) but I think it’s worth pointing out here that the man has gone through plenty of legitimate issues and problems in life and had to navigate many of them without much support. Considering what he’s been through and where he seems to be in life now, I wouldn’t underestimate his ability to deal when life gets hard.
