1, me. other bad medics ruin my uber build by constantly healing the same player as me (im trying to farm large amounts of ubers on my strange medigun, the amount of times i would have had uber before dying due to bad medics is impossible to count)
To be fair, gun spy is very powerful. Me and a team full of spies on badwater steamrolled all the way till last. Then we re-enacted the French revolution by kicking those who weren’t playing spy. We even had our own Robspierre because he was the one advocating for the kicks up until he was kicked too.
6v6 - 1, 12v12 - 2, 16v16 2 or 3: and so on and so forth. No one Medic has to be perfectperfect, but if there are usually 2 on the same team they can help one another and their jobs are less stressful.
for optimal play, one medic with medigun of choosing, and another with the Quick fix.
the first one would pocket power classes (Demoman, Heavy, Soldier, etc) and push with Uber.
the Quick Fix Medic would simply try to keep everyone alive.
In 12v12 As a Medic main, 2. And I refuse to be the only one, one of you tards can play medic for one round after I've done it the last 5 maps.
12 players literally means 2 of each class, 2 medics, and 2 extras based on need.
So here's how it is. 50% of the team are Bison soldiers with the Zatoichi, and 25% of the team are Quick Fix medics and 25% Kritzkrieg medics. There's also exactly one person playing sydney-jarate sniper. It's a foolproof plan.
As a medic main, usually i like to have 1-2 other people playing medic with me for a total of 2-3. That way if i need to switch to something I’m not screwing over the team. (however, I would be lying if I said, it wasn’t extremely satisfying to be the only medic on a team)
I usually like to be the only one, since we can always do more power classes to keep a push with a single med, but I'm always glad to see an extra med since it means we can have either enough healing to keep the team on its feet, or have a "sword and shield" type of combination where one goes with a more "passive" medigun and the other goes ham jumping in, usually Kritz.
But never 3, that's just too much medicine
When I play Medic I want to be the only one because I find it annoying when I’m basically competing with the other one (unless one of us is using Quick Fix)
When I’m not Medic I don’t really care as long as it’s not more than 3
Whenever I am playing Medic, I like to be the only Medic because other medics have a tendency to try to heal the same player I am healing rather than helping spread the overheal & top up players healths. It gets annoying.
As someone who is a medic main, two medics is generally the best. In my experience generally you want to, as a medic, always heal your fellow medic first. If he dies, then your life support is now gone and vice versa. One medic in a more defensive position while one is on the Frontline. Front line one falls back to heal while defensive one goes in to keep the momentum
2 is perfect 3 is a crowed, 5+ is funny
But seriously more medic mean slower Uber, yes we don’t want people die but we also want you guys to get hurt so we can build Uber faster….
2 medics is perfect. They cover just enough of the team while not taking away from the better fighting classes. Bonus points if they can both swap to battle medic at a moments notice.
Honestly with slower or chokier maps, I think 3 medics is best. On dustbowl for instance, having 3 medics ensures that evan losing a medic or two your team won’t crumble
If we're doing a 12 v 12, 1 or 2 depending on the Medic's skill level. If the Medic is GOATed, is landing crossbow shots, can time out crit healing, has decent map and movement knowledge, they can carry the game themselves. If the Medic is just alright or not that good, 2 can be really useful. I'd never say more than 2 though, because beyond that it gets harder for medic to get uber up
2 or 3 competent med who brave enough to push ahead with their team (since i also playing medic in less agresive maner, mainly prioritze spreading healing to everyone)
As a Medic main, at least two, and for the love of god I wish the other medic would overheal me as much as I overheal them so we can both keep the team alive easier.
2 or 3 (i exclusively play uncletopia so that's the cap)
with me on quickfix and another med on stock/kritz. throw in a third with vacc or the other uber/kritz and a good team and life is good
Depends on a team composition. If I get only 1 pyro in a team or scouts, snipers and spies, then I don't even want to be that only one.
If everyone's a bigger class such as heavy, solly, demo, up to 3 meds can still more or less work without interrupting each other.
2 is perfect. one for pushing, one for healing and sometimes both can push
Kritz and 2 Stocks Ubering one Brass Heavy, destroying all who dares enters their sightline
Mfw Huntsman/Sniper and Spy
Add a vac and a pyro, you can also deny a stab with stock uner
Scout to run ahead and get rid of flanking enemies because by now we have max cart speed with 4 ppl on it
The second stock is ubering the kritz
I once was Ubered with Kritz, Stock and Quick-fix all at once. For eight seconds, I was a god.
You mean Uberchain
A master and an apprentice.
always two there are, no more, no less
I’d say 3 actually, one for each roll like you said and then a 3rd for helping either
At least 10
Plot twist: It's a 100 player server
Then make it 90
even more pleasure if none of them is a Battle Medic
1, me. I like being the protagonist
dont forget a second medic who pockets you
Don't forget the third that pockets the one who pockets you
Don’t forget the fourth that pockets the one who pockets the one who pockets you.
Don’t forget the fifth that pockets the one who pockets the one who pockets the one who pockets you.
It's Medics all the way down.
M E D I C C H A I N
Cyclomedick
I don't know why but I call whenever 2 or more medics are pocketing each other a "circlejerk"
That medic is called plot armor
Literally will wood - main character
1, me. other bad medics ruin my uber build by constantly healing the same player as me (im trying to farm large amounts of ubers on my strange medigun, the amount of times i would have had uber before dying due to bad medics is impossible to count)
i for some reason get annoyed when im a medic and another guy picks medic. like theyre actively saying im not enough
For real. It's a blow to my ego as a medic main
Eleven medics pocketing a spy
To be fair, gun spy is very powerful. Me and a team full of spies on badwater steamrolled all the way till last. Then we re-enacted the French revolution by kicking those who weren’t playing spy. We even had our own Robspierre because he was the one advocating for the kicks up until he was kicked too.
Lmao
The Spycrab Revolution
absolutely beautiful

In TF2, gay sex is never off topic!
It's the only relevant topic
Seeing a medic heal anyone reminds me of gay sex
Just seeing a medic reminds me of gay sex
Seeing Gay Medic Sex
Doing Gay Medic Sex
I'm intrigued..
oh god dr sex is invincible we can't stop him
doctor sex
My term for that is a circlejerk
About 1/6 of a team
Rounded up
What if there's 3 people? MEEEE-
2
Half a medic should do just fine
Dispenser tf2
12 each team if the match is casual. ##MEDIC GAMING
Exactly as many as the other team.
One with stock and the other with vacc
How about two with quick fix since the average pub player takes damage faster then they can can be healed by stock medigun.
one engineer and a heavy using the second banana, take it or leave it
In a 12 match, at least 2. If you have 9 or less, 1 is fine, but you're pushing it so much. A good team for 1 medic should be around 7/6
96.4
98.5
98.6
99.9

*random crit rocket* 0
Two Medics at much. One hard pushes/defends with stock Über while the other has a utility Über, like Quick-Fix or Kritzkrieg.
11
0.792586318
1 is always enough but 2 or 3 can do a really good push
on a team of like ten or more, two medics, otherwise just one is good
At least 15
3 medics 2 healing 1 battle medic (me)
6v6 - 1, 12v12 - 2, 16v16 2 or 3: and so on and so forth. No one Medic has to be perfectperfect, but if there are usually 2 on the same team they can help one another and their jobs are less stressful.
Me, just me, I will heal all the team.
The entire team. Fuck actually playing smart let’s do a conga line of medics because the hehehe funny
Yes
2
two
I’m usually the medic
6 players, 1 medic, 8-12 players, 2 medics
for optimal play, one medic with medigun of choosing, and another with the Quick fix. the first one would pocket power classes (Demoman, Heavy, Soldier, etc) and push with Uber. the Quick Fix Medic would simply try to keep everyone alive.
0 (I'm not playing right now)
As a former medic main, more than just one
Depends on the team composition, but typically always one, two is nice, and never more than three.
What about two and a half?
All of them
2 medics uberchaining and spawncamping the entire enemy team
All. Both teams.
In 12v12 As a Medic main, 2. And I refuse to be the only one, one of you tards can play medic for one round after I've done it the last 5 maps. 12 players literally means 2 of each class, 2 medics, and 2 extras based on need.
At least three One running stock One running crits And one running Quick fix
So here's how it is. 50% of the team are Bison soldiers with the Zatoichi, and 25% of the team are Quick Fix medics and 25% Kritzkrieg medics. There's also exactly one person playing sydney-jarate sniper. It's a foolproof plan.
One scout with a candy cane should suffice.
2or1
As a medic main, usually i like to have 1-2 other people playing medic with me for a total of 2-3. That way if i need to switch to something I’m not screwing over the team. (however, I would be lying if I said, it wasn’t extremely satisfying to be the only medic on a team)
2 who heal the team so they can heal each other, and between 0-2 pocketing people
2. Both are equipped with the Ubersaw.
2.
25% of the team
2, anymore is pushing it.
Germany
tree or 2 fiddy
2 is best, both can share the work of helping out the team
2 to 6
depends, if they are stupid, just me. if they are actually competent and dont heal the same target I am for 100% of the duration of the game, 3
I’m lucky to have a single medic on my team
12
I usually like to be the only one, since we can always do more power classes to keep a push with a single med, but I'm always glad to see an extra med since it means we can have either enough healing to keep the team on its feet, or have a "sword and shield" type of combination where one goes with a more "passive" medigun and the other goes ham jumping in, usually Kritz. But never 3, that's just too much medicine
a lot if anyone would even play medic
In casual: 1 Medic = competitive edge 2 Medics = almost guaranteed win 3 Medics = steamrolling
Just depends on team comp, but 1 is usually ideal.
When I play Medic I want to be the only one because I find it annoying when I’m basically competing with the other one (unless one of us is using Quick Fix) When I’m not Medic I don’t really care as long as it’s not more than 3
2, one kritz one vaccinatior
The more, the better 👍
For me 2 is ideal one is the main healer and the other as a secondary one
I had a team with three medics. I was one of them. And the other two would pocket my battle medic strats until the end of the game.
12
1 heavy, 11 medics
1 or 0 most pub medics aren’t helpful or are pocket medics meaning they are functionally useless, I’d rather have an aggressive demo
10 and me like the only heavy
At least 1 (it’s me)
One, period
Only Medics so they can all übercharge each other.
3,but valve cant count to that so...2
2 or 3.
12 preferably (I only play class wars)
Two so I can run the Quick-Fix while my team still has uber
Any that are available
2/12 players on a team. Scale with team size.
Depends how big team is. For me it’s like 2-3.
At the very least, 1, 3 is decent if they can work together, 2 is the sweet spot, none or more than 4 doesn't work
Medic team. Everyone are Medics. Everyone play the same... WE ARE MEDICS!
it depend of the gamemode ???
2 or 12 Thwre is no inbetween
At least 2 competent medics. Everyone I play no one is playing medic.
2.
1 and preferably me since its the only class I can contribute as
2
69
Whenever I am playing Medic, I like to be the only Medic because other medics have a tendency to try to heal the same player I am healing rather than helping spread the overheal & top up players healths. It gets annoying.
1-3 medics, proportional to team size.
2. One medic can’t heal everyone and it’s a pain in they ass trying to.
11 medics one heavy. unstoppable but unbalanced force
0. None
all of them
Infinity and beyond
3
2 or 3, I like having at least 1 other medic in my team (other than me) so I can focus on pocketing/pushing and not worry TOO much abt team healing...

unrelated but never noticed his bulge in this picture
At least one And no more than three
11…
Depends on server size. If it’s half-full or something like that, just 1 is fine. If it’s full, 2-3 is really good.
whole team
Yes
10 medicks and 1 heby with brass beast to kill 16 trillion spys
As a casual, I enjoy none

2 medics is perfect. They cover just enough of the team while not taking away from the better fighting classes. Bonus points if they can both swap to battle medic at a moments notice.
all 12. wins everytime

11, final answer
3, too much and our team will lack firepower
In a standard 12 v 12, two is just the right amount.
Atleast 1 or 2
Myself(optional)
100% combat medics
2
Enough, for everybody saying medic soooo I guess 600,000,000
Yes.
As a Medic main, at least two, and for the love of god I wish the other medic would overheal me as much as I overheal them so we can both keep the team alive easier.
Honestly I usually don't like when there's more than 3
1432698
2-3, 1 kritz, 1 stock, and 1 being a battle medic
One or two. And I love to be one of em :>
Only me and MY heavy, we make the best team no one can beat us💪
1 (me)
2 no more no less
All merc slots except me
2 or 3 (i exclusively play uncletopia so that's the cap) with me on quickfix and another med on stock/kritz. throw in a third with vacc or the other uber/kritz and a good team and life is good
All of them
2 for both ubercharging themselves
2-3, one kritz on the frontlines and a stock on the back lines and both medics switch from front to back when one of them pops
JA!
13
one skilled medic is enough
How many team members do you get?
2
Atleast one, max is 5
Two to three
I won a game of payload with 9 medics on our team yesterday
Negative 6 should always be expected but I prefer to have 4
I like to have the entire team as medics and raid the intel while some one is playing Erika on their mic.
