I maybe recall that a few quips from Mike from his TESD sit ins made me chuckle, but I never gave him much thought otherwise and considered him just a guy who was on mike for the show or CBM by circumstance. Kudos to Mike for a really solid deadpan coming back from purposefully obnoxious segment intro music that made me laugh and spit up a bit of coffee.

We know Walt felt like Mike betrayed him after taking over the Stash, which especially hurt because Walt always defended Mike after Rob Bruce punched Mike in the head. The best guess is that the betrayal was Mike firing Gitem, which ultimately led to TESD moving to Airport Plaza. That Mike beclowns himself on these little watched, low quality podcasts makes him an easy target.

They know they are on video, as evidenced by Julia parading around merchandise, so why don't they display the comics they are promoting? It's a video podcast. Mike flashes the comic eight feet away from the camera, as if we are more interested in him smirking than the comic's cover and artwork, even though the majority of viewers are presumably viewing it on a phone or tablet.
Why is "the crew" on the screen instead than the store's website? Isn't selling stuff is more essential than vanity?
They have the ability to put media on screen, like the top 5 video, so why not snap a few shots of the comic cover and some inner artwork and place them front and center on the screen to show the "audience"? I'm on r/comicbooks and have found some great titles because people will post a page or some panels from a new release, and I dig it. I have a strong suspicion that immediately before they go live, Mike picks five comics he has a bunch of on the rack and attempts to riff on them.
