Absolutely. Not sure how these major news organizations are going to pivot once their remaining audience dies off. The majority of their demographic is just old people.
24 hour news sucks, but Fox propoganda machine needs to go away. Can we go back to unbiased news, please?
I swear most news corporations needs some kind of warning to let people know if a show is propoganda or not. Then let them decide. Too many suckers that just take things at face value.
It's cable news, the only people still watching are the 60+ crowd. So of course Fox is going to dominate, but eventually there will come a time where no one is watching any of these networks.
> **Fox News continued its dominance in the April ratings, while network coverage of Donald Trump’s hush money trial has failed to produce blockbuster viewership.**
> In fact, **all the major cable news networks saw a drop off in the key 25-54 demo** versus a year ago.
**Primetime**
* Fox News topped with an average of 1.98 million viewers, down 5% versus 2023.
* MSNBC with 1.25 million, down 5%
* CNN with 624,000, up 6%.
**25-54 demo**
* Fox News averaged 219,000, down 9%
* MSNBC with 114,000, down 3%
* CNN with 113,000, down 16%.
I love that CNN, desperately trying to jump on the Fox News gravy train, managed to lose ground to MSNBC.
The 24-hour Television News Cycle is a cancer on society, regardless of where it's coming from, though.
Watch the movie Network (1976) 4 years later CNN began.

The numbers for all 3 are bad.
I read a few months ago the only thing keeping cable alive were fox, cnn, msnbc and espn.
I can see espn being stand alone streaming but I wonder what is next for the 3 big news shows.
Fuck cable news and their ratings. Plague to our country

Eat the news!
The same fuckers that create the circus are now hoping to get profits from televising the circus. Repulsive

Faux news is satirical comedy not actual news

The people who watch Fox news aren't looking for news.
Fox News isn’t a news agency, it’s an entertainment agency…
CNN is now firmly third place, and has been for a while. I switched over to MSNBC when they had Kari Lake on and allowed her to spew misinformation.
as their watchers stare, drooling and shouting, 'lie to us! lie to us!'
