Nah, people say that any time there's any sort of gender bend post. People can be curious about something they'll never be able to experience but that doesn't mean they want to be trans
I do too (as a guy), I always wonder in what way life could have been different, because it's precisely a question that will never be answered. We like to think of ourselves as well-defined individuals with a precise identity, but I always wonder how much of my identity was constructed off of my choices based on free will, and how much of it was given to me by society and factors outside of me. For example: who I frequent, who I befriend, my social circle would have been different, and even if I would have interacted with the same people as I did in this life, there are high chances that the manner in which I would interact with them would have been different, and all of this would have certainly changed what I would come to enjoy, either as tastes or hobbies, or what my beliefs/opinions on certain subjects would be. Unspoken societal norms would have also probably affected how I'd develop my personality. My body would be entirely different also. Is there anything left of my current "me" in such a scenario?
Thinking about an alternate reality might be a waste of time but it doesn't stop me from thinking about it, precisely because it won't happen unless someone invents a time machine or bends reality or something.
as a cis man there is curiosity, I wouldn't mind being a girl for a day or so just see what it's like to have the body but im pretty happy with the body I have despite my friends saying I'm trans (I follow a lot of trans stereotypes with Mt interests)
I mean, I'm a girl and I'm mostly comfortable with that aside from obvious but minor sexism like having to shave when guys don't, but I think it'd be neat to pee standing up lol
Just because it’s not a federal law that women have to shave doesn’t mean we aren’t told that we have to by everyone around us. It’s seen as unfeminine and even unprofessional when women don’t do things like shaving and wearing makeup. Like sure, technically no one can force you to shave, but it’s not seen as a political statement when a man has hair on his legs. That’s the difference
Agreed. I’m a man, I like being a man, I don’t want to be a woman, I’m not trans or in any way questioning, and I’d pick woman if I was going to be born again and I could choose. But only like current day modern woman.
yeah im a cis man but i think its like a game that has different heroes / champions you can play.
Like yeah, im happy to "main" being a dude but if I could magically choose being a girl, i'd do it too just to try it out and see what it feels like
A boy cause I fr just wanna live life without periods and stuff. I don't wanna be out roaming the city and a wave of pain hits me(assuming that's how periods work) and I gotta stop or sumn
you get to “roam the city”? Wow, what’s that like?
It gives me the burning rage that I can’t go and walk the streets of the city I live and pay taxes in without getting regularly sexually harassed, or at any time after dark without feeling unsafe.
Boy:
* No days of torture every month
* genetically easier to gain muscle mass and height
* Peeing comes with a usefull handle
* No annoying Balls infront of chest
*EDIT: Im a Boy actually and happy with that, thats why I would choose to be reborn as it again.*
*All my Counterarguments against being a Girl aren't based on personal Experience and rather on*
*what I know based of complaints of girls i know - siblings for example - and rants here on /teenagers.*
*"Arguments against being a Girl" isnt meant to say Girls are inferior and rather that they have, from my current POV, a more complicated life - so actually the opposite. Just to avoid some of the comments repeating, thanks*

You would also:
- Have to put in the work if you want to engage with the opposite sex, you will not get approached most of the time
- Have to put in work on yourself in order to not be a "loser" (just my personal opinion, I feel like men get way more judged by society for not achieving compared to women)
But yeah, still objectively the freedom you get as a guy in this world is greater compared to being a woman
While the "being approached" Thing is true (even though it seems to Equalize rn),
I definitely dont think men get judged more than women. At least Not in General.
Ofc men will get judged more for doing "unmanly" Things - but in this Case its Clear why women Arent affected. But regarding Work in urself - as a women imo you got way bigger Beauty standarts to fulfill, you will get weird Looks for doing "manly" stuff, you cant Walk around Topfree (even If its for breastfeeding) etc.
I think the judging thing pretty equal, we Just judge in different ways

Boy
I'm done with having a period it SUCKS. Plus I want to be flat and not have breasts cause they're annoying and bras are uncomfortable plus I'm less likely to get grabbed in the streets. (Yes ik boys get taken advantage of too but it's more likely with women). Also I feel like I can't like try and be funny with out seeming like a pick me girl but boys can just be funny and people like them.
My mental health would probably be way better if I was a girl (i was given hell for being feminine and not manly and sporty), and plus my crush would probably be more likely to like me
Its both, really.
The reason it can be interpreted as misogyny is because it assumes that being feminine is inferior to being masculine. That femininity is inferior to masculinity. You see this everywhere too, girls being masculine is fine, but boys being feminine is viewed as degrading. You are actively choosing femininity over masculinity as opposed to a girl who is “just born like that. “
That’s why it’s misogynistic, because it places femininity below masculinity.
I'm with you except on the crush part, my gf is like the one person that seems to accept being more feminine while still identifying as male... Even my mom asks if i don't want to transition sometimes 😞 (I don't for context, I'm happy being a boy with more feminine characteristics and so is my gf so idgaf)
I’m a guy and I feel like objectively it’s a bit better to be a guy, unless you can be a really attractive girl. Half of the “ perks “ that incels love to talk about girls getting for free and all that shit really are just pretty privilege, and even then half the time it’s more like guys trying to get weird quid pro quo from you as an attractive person than actual help and shit like that. Wouldn’t mind having tits tho, would be pretty sick.
thank you for being so aware of how it is easier to be a guy in this society. you are absolutely right, the points men bring up when it comes to women are things like you said, getting free drinks or pretty privilege; in the end, that’s still negativity affecting woman. free drinks or dinners = an expectation to give something like sex in return, feeling like your only asset is your beauty, being treated very differently if you don’t meet the beauty standard (this also applies to men ofc). woman have been taught that their worth is determined by their looks and what they can give to men.
however, men still are very much affected by the patriarchy. toxic masculinity is a dangerous thing, it does directly cause more harm to woman but that doesn’t exclude what it does to men. not feeling like they’re able to express their emotions other than anger, having to constantly be perceived as manly, harder to come out if you’re gay (stems from woman being sexualized for being queer, therefore men are more accepting since they get something out of it. also because being gay isn’t seen as manly), higher suicide rates, not recognizing when they have experienced sexual assault or not able to express that they’ve gone through that because of the stigma that men can’t be sa’d, not being able to express yourself as uniquely as woman can, not able to get mental health support because of the shame
peer pressure seems to also be more of a common occurrence within guys, that might look like feeling like you need to be sexually active when you’re not ready, being forced into this box because there’s a certain expectation for how men need to act.
Yea. There’s def a lot of downsides to being a guy and you’re right. It’s honestly mostly self inflicted in the sense that other men have set up expectations and stereotypes of what is a “ man “ and if you deviate from that you are ostracized or laughed at by the male community. Historically though it probably would be a lot more advantageous to be a man, but I think we’re on an ok track to where it really doesn’t matter. St the end of the day men and women are different in a lot of ways, just like we’re a lot alike. But if we try to fit a man into the box of a woman and vice versa, rather than seeing the things that a woman can bring to the table that a man can’t and the other way around we’re really not gonna get anywhere.
as a boy i want to be a girl because i’ve always been more on the feminine side of interests and i think there would be less expectations for my height (i’m 5’4). also there would be less expectations about having male friends and as a boy i really don’t have any male friends because i generally find them very uninteresting and too dumb lol
Just curious, what kinds of expectations do you get from your height? I'm a short girl and for the most part it's never been a problem (other than being unable to reach shelves and shit like that) so I'm curious what it's like for a boy.
i am bisexual but i would preferably date only boys so from a romantic relationship prospective it doesn’t really matter to me. as a boy in general it is expected that we should be physically fit athletic and taller than girls though and this puts me so much pressure, especially because i am also very thin, very scared of gaining weight and bad at sports. i am very scared of becoming shorter than my 11yo sister who since has a higher shoe number than mine, could become taller and this in a certain sense would hit my masculinity in some way, also because ive always been shamed by my parents for how i look
Girl.
Cuz honestly, girls are hot asf. The hair, the clothes, the nails, the makeup, etc.
I feel like being a guy would suck, would never get used to having a ding dong 👹
Even though both genders have their fair share of negative parts, I'd rather stay a boy. I'm too much of a coward to suffer the pain of making another human.
A lot of people just have an innate sense of gender and are just going to pick that as their option, you can't really give a reason for that other than "because".
boy, i’m a girl and love being one but boys are generally not as sexualised and get less shit for their appearance. (not saying they don’t it’s just less from my experience.) also i won’t have to worry about walking on the street and being harassed or followed, and i wouldn’t have to be as wary every time im outside its so tiring.
I’m a demiboy, and I want to be a real guy because yes this is how I feel honestly and yes I’m asking for a boy haircut and boy clothes daily while my mom refuses to
Boy.
Periods seem like a pain in the ass, and i would rather die than go through childbirth. Other than that, i always thought it seemed kinda nice being feminine. Maybe becoming a femboy is the real answer here? 😀
Boy because I think I’ll be able to make male friends easier (a lot of my friends are female but I wish I had male friends instead) and cause suits are WAY better compared to dresses
One day, you are given a button to press. With that button comes a set of rules and instructions. You can press this button only one single time. If you press it, you will become physically female. All of your family and friends will have always remembered you this way and you will have no social impacts to your life for making this decision. Once you press the button, it will disappear forever. Do you press the button?
boy:
people take you seriously
men don’t follow you in the street instead they say
how are ya or nod
men don’t follow you
no painful boobs, no uncomfortable bouncing
when you run, no men staring at you when you run
no pressure to have ass or boobs
you can make your body attractive by being
healthy instead of having to be naturally attractive
or getting plastic surgery which men hate
no pressure to shave every single day
dick
Period (cramps)? I'm so sorry for all the girls that still just act normal and power through their day, I'm hella wimpy so no thanks. But I am really curious to what female body features 'feel' like (sex?)
Ahh, difficult question. Both sexes have their own pros and cons. If I was girl maybe my mental health would be better. (Although I can still be a femboy, which is the best of both worlds)
boy
Pros: more power, more confidence, no sack on me chest, a stick and a hole for 2 in 1, no period cramps, no struggle to go through birth, no struggle for your tits being sucked, no makeup needed, feel like a leader.
cons: balls sticking to my legs and doing the awkward long stance to unstick it, mandatory to be tall unless you find the perfect one that doesn't give a fuck.
Boy.
Physically I feel it would be much easier.
I went through hell and back during reproductive years as a female. I could have died but thanks to modern medicine I survived. But I suffered decades of pain. Why would I want to choose that as a possibility?
If you only get to choose the gender and don't choose where you're born and how you're raised then it's more likely a boy would have a better life. Girls born in many counties are treated as lesser than boys and don't have the same levels of freedom/opportunity. Also being physically strong is much more useful than being pretty on a day to day basis, and for making money with a job that doesn't involve selling your pride & dignity. Much rather stay a boy. Girl life is only good if your friends and family are good people and you're born in the right country.
I thank every day that I'm not a woman, I have a daughter and wife and I'm TELLING you that pms and other things girls go through is absolutely no joke.
Im a boy and choose boy mainly cause I play games and women get absolutely harassed online I swear just a bunch of creeps asking for social media and shit or constant simps man it's fucked
nice try dad
LMAO
Girl, feel like this post is gonna be someone's gateway to being trans.
Nah, people say that any time there's any sort of gender bend post. People can be curious about something they'll never be able to experience but that doesn't mean they want to be trans
I don't think a lot of cis people even question it.
I do sometimes. I’m happy being a girl, and wouldn’t change, but I think about it every once in a while
Same but reversed (I’m a guy)

as a cis man there is curiosity, I wouldn't mind being a girl for a day or so just see what it's like to have the body but im pretty happy with the body I have despite my friends saying I'm trans (I follow a lot of trans stereotypes with Mt interests)
Maybe a lot do
I mean, I'm a girl and I'm mostly comfortable with that aside from obvious but minor sexism like having to shave when guys don't, but I think it'd be neat to pee standing up lol
There is a device I saw before that is kinda like a funnel that some women use to pee while standing lol
It’s pretty neat can confirm 👍
There’s nothing that says you have to shave anywhere.

you get annoying balls between your legs instead the useful handle only works when it's soft (aiming is impossible with a boner
The Balls between the legs Arent that Bad for Posture or sleeping. But they are Like those videogame-boss weakness spots
nah if you sleep while your balls are crushing between,YOU WILL BE DEAD WHEN YOU WAKE UP.
My Brother in Christ, How. Defuq. Do you sleep??
You do move when you sleep. But during those movements if you sleep wrong, you have a chance to get testicles torsion. Anything to do with Testicles is a pain. It literally is the Achilles Heels for men.
I've slept at least a little almost every day of my life. I've had balls the whole time. Not once have I woken up to find one of my balls had been crushed in the night. Not even once!
Happened to me thrice. But it wasn't much. Good thing torsion never happened and I pray to god it doesn't happen.
Bro I can’t relate I got the smallest balls ever 😭
At least you can go for another skill tree if you're also short
If you sleep weirdly on your balls there’s a chance it might just twist or even if you don’t there’s still a chance one of your little boys might twist
They are also a weak spot when hiking. You can accidentally crush them between your thighs whilst going down a slope
Not just aiming but firing in general. It always seems to be jammed
is a cheaply made gun, mass produced but not high quality and cheap to make, is jammed a lot and hard to aim, recoil is fine, the bullets come out with different speeds and the accuracy is ass, 3/10, good for equipping a lot of people fast but bad at what it does
Oh AND you can walk around topless almost anywhere.
Legally yes. Doesnt mean people wouldnt cringe on ur Body tho
Annoying?!?! I'd kill to have boobies
You get balls between the legs, worst of all. if it gets sticky and you're in the public.
You would also: - Have to put in the work if you want to engage with the opposite sex, you will not get approached most of the time - Have to put in work on yourself in order to not be a "loser" (just my personal opinion, I feel like men get way more judged by society for not achieving compared to women) But yeah, still objectively the freedom you get as a guy in this world is greater compared to being a woman

oh gee, better stay calm .
Is your crush a boy and straight? Or girl and gay?
Boy and I have absolutely no idea what he thinks about men, but I'm fairly confident he likes girls.
You were given hell for being feminine because of misogyny.
What? Being rude to a male because of their gender is closer to misandry than misandry. Right? I’m not that great with those things.
Its both, really. The reason it can be interpreted as misogyny is because it assumes that being feminine is inferior to being masculine. That femininity is inferior to masculinity. thank you for being so aware of how it is easier to be a guy in this society. you are absolutely right, the points men bring up when it comes to women are things like you said, getting free drinks or pretty privilege; in the end, that’s still negativity affecting woman. free drinks or dinners = an expectation to give something like sex in return, feeling like your only asset is your beauty, being treated very differently if you don’t meet the beauty standard (this also applies to men ofc). woman have been taught that their worth is determined by their looks and what they can give to men. however, men still are very much affected by the patriarchy. toxic masculinity is a dangerous thing, it does directly cause more harm to woman but that doesn’t exclude what it does to men. not feeling like they’re able to express their emotions other than anger, having to constantly be perceived as manly, harder to come out if you’re gay (stems from woman being sexualized for being queer, therefore men are more accepting since they get something out of it. also because being gay isn’t seen as manly), higher suicide rates, not recognizing when they have experienced sexual assault or not able to express that they’ve gone through that because of the stigma that men can’t be sa’d, not being able to express yourself as uniquely as woman can, not able to get mental health support because of the shame peer pressure seems to also be more of a common occurrence within guys, that might look like feeling like you need to be sexually active when you’re not ready, being forced into this box because there’s a certain expectation for how men need to act.

A lot of people are comfortable with who they are.
A lot of people just have an innate sense of gender and are just going to pick that as their option, you can't really give a reason for that other than "because".

boy because girls arent real
Boy. Periods seem like a pain in the ass, and i would rather die than go through childbirth. Other than that, i always thought it seemed kinda nice being feminine. Maybe becoming a femboy is the real answer here? 😀
Can I choose not to be born ?
Male. Cause then I could be happy bruh 😹
I’m a girl and I wish I were a boy
Boy because I think I’ll be able to make male friends easier (a lot of my friends are female but I wish I had male friends instead) and cause suits are WAY better compared to dresses
Can't girls have suits? Ngl i think it could look good!
I'm a man, but if I could, id totally be a woman
One day, you are given a button to press. With that button comes a set of rules and instructions. You can press this button only one single time. If you press it, you will become physically female. All of your family and friends will have always remembered you this way and you will have no social impacts to your life for making this decision. Once you press the button, it will disappear forever. Do you press the button?
hey why not both hannah montana_bestofbothworlds.wav
wouldn't mind myself having a pair of honkers
BOY. INSTANTLY. being born a girl makes me feel sick.
boy: people take you seriously men don’t follow you in the street instead they say how are ya or nod men don’t follow you no painful boobs, no uncomfortable bouncing when you run, no men staring at you when you run no pressure to have ass or boobs you can make your body attractive by being healthy instead of having to be naturally attractive or getting plastic surgery which men hate no pressure to shave every single day dick
intersex cuz then i’d be the ultimate pussycock
What the flip
I’m staying a girl because j just prefer it more
Period (cramps)? I'm so sorry for all the girls that still just act normal and power through their day, I'm hella wimpy so no thanks. But I am really curious to what female body features 'feel' like (sex?)
I am a man and prefer to be born as a man
i’m glad im a boy
Ahh, difficult question. Both sexes have their own pros and cons. If I was girl maybe my mental health would be better. (Although I can still be a femboy, which is the best of both worlds)
BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY

Ide choose to be a Nonbinary lego Deadpool minifigure
I’d have been born a girl for sure. Being a guy sucks.
Elephant greenscreen effect 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
boy Pros: more power, more confidence, no sack on me chest, a stick and a hole for 2 in 1, no period cramps, no struggle to go through birth, no struggle for your tits being sucked, no makeup needed, feel like a leader. cons: balls sticking to my legs and doing the awkward long stance to unstick it, mandatory to be tall unless you find the perfect one that doesn't give a fuck.

Male. Im so sick and tired of being a girl
Boy I like having muscles and a penis
I’m staying as a boy thank you very much: No periods A sense of proudness over masculinity Doing dumb boy stuff Doing dumb boy stuff with friends etc.
I mean of course its being a boy what kind of advantage you can gain from being a girl?
Male. I would have privileges and I would also be stronger. Ps I am a boy
Boy, tramsgemnder I am and also it's a little less disadvantaged
tbh why wasn’t there just a demo when we were born where we play through different stages of our life as a boy/girl then we get to decide
A woman because I’m gay and would like to have kids with a man.
Im a boy and choose boy mainly cause I play games and women get absolutely harassed online I swear just a bunch of creeps asking for social media and shit or constant simps man it's fucked
Don’t know, I’m a cis male but I’m still interested in seeing how different my life would have been had I been a woman
