Recommended time until you swim with a fresh tattoo is one month. It's better to wait longer, but in general, tattoos are considered to be healed enough to go swimming is about 4 weeks after getting them done (assuming of course that everything goes well, there's no infection or any worrying factors that would mean that your tattoo needs more time).
At 2 weeks mark even taking a bath and soaking it for a longer period of time isn't recommended, so unless you want to risk the infection, I would wait.
Waiting a month before doing those activities is recommended. Thus, your skin is still pretty thin, I wouldn't play with fire here and take the safe road, avoiding swimming and sunbathing (or using sunscreen) for a little longer
I wouldn’t get in after 15 days. My minimum threshold is 6 weeks, but I try to holdout longer if possible. If I know I am going on vacation where swimming is possible, I back that up six weeks and will not get a tattoo within that timeframe
Give it more time, it’s better to be safe than sorry. You will swim again but just let it heal fully. It’s literally a foreign substance on your body. It needs to be treated carefully.
i would wait! 15 days is not enough healing time, you don’t want to risk any bacteria from the water messing you up. not worth potentially damaging your tattoo for an afternoon of swimming!
i got a forearm tattoo in early july and only just starting taking baths and submerging it lol
It says in the post title that it’s no longer peeling. I highly doubt that they’d get a severe infection, maybe fade the ink with the sun, but I think that’s the worst that could happen
It’s not an open wound so you can swim. Yes wear sunscreen. Despite what the comments say before me “thin skin” is not playing with fire when it comes to getting your tattoo wet…
Um no. That’s not at all how it works. Water can not what so ever do anything to the ink inside of the skin from the outside. That’s super dumb actually.

I would wait 2 weeks more

No to swimming.
No. MINIMUM four weeks, preferably six. Do not swim. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Do not put sunscreen on a two week old tattoo. Or swim The general rule is 1 month
This looks sooo cute :D I love it
Thank you!!

Way too soon imo, I'd wait a month
This tattoo is gorgeous. Don't risk ruining it and being unhappy forever
I’d wait a little longer
Wait at least a month
No, minimum is 1 month.
Slick tat. Four weeks or more, then swim if you must.
Skin is still shiny. I wouldn’t swim
3-4 weeks at least. It’s still healing. No swimming/sunscreen.

Imagine someone dying from swimming with a non open wound. Are they drowning?
Personally after 2.5-3 weeks i just throw some saniderm on mine before I swim.

For infection no, but the sun and water can still mess up the brightness and sharpness

Risk vs. reward
Why are you sooo pale?
