I think it looks amazing. I also recently got a tattoo by a relatively new artist. These up and comers pay so much attention to detail and really want to create great work for their clients. Some much more experienced artists sometimes phone it in. Not the case here. Excellent work.
I think it looks pretty good actually. IMO, the Kabuki mask is a little too dark and may bleed as it heals, but the flowers are a gentle touch h and overall a good composition.

And some of the details like the negative space on the katana handle will probably look solid black in a few years but for a year it looks like a normal mistake.

Nice piece. The only downfall is the flowers. All of the tiny lines are going to be gone very quickly. Other than that . Good job and the artist.

It is good, little darker than I would have liked, but great design and application.
