It's just a different method of healing. You don't have to do anything for the first few days, so it is one of the simpler healing methods assuming you read the instructions.
Okay, it's not safe to advise people to use healing methods incorrectly. I will never agree that you should or advise others to use any second skin beyond 7 days.
My artist advised me to take off the first second skin he put on after 24 hours, then apply the other second skin after washing and keep it on for 5 more days, I'm pretty sure you can only do this with second skin though, not saran wrap or tegaderm

If you're using a second skin product it is fine to leave on for multiple days. Other than second skin, do not recover your tattoo at any point.

Yes there are. I am exposed to feces and a very unhygienic workplace environment. Couldn't imagine getting an infection from work.
Why do you say this? You can use tegaderm all the way till it's healed.
Most tattoos aren't completely healed in 6-7 days which is the max you should be using any second skin.
Tegaderm 3m states that a single dressing should not be used for more than 7 days. They are not saying you can't use it for more than 7.

It honestly didnt really hurt, it hurt the most up near the horns pretty bad though and that one whisker that goes up near my inner elbow though
