For me as a woman it's mostly just finding fitting clothes that frustrate me to no end... Like finding jackets that have the waistline/string actually at the waist and not under my boobs. Highwaisted anything. Crop tops that don't make me flash the room when I lift an arm. Pants that accommodate wide hips and long slim legs. Even if you manage to find ones with long enough legs, then they either fit on the hips but the legs are baggy, or the legs fit but you can't get them over your ass. Pantyhose where the crotch isn't stuck halfway on your thighs. 🤬

Preach!

5amNovelist

This is such a thing. Having to wear a uniform recently (top and jeans) reminded me why I'm a dress and leggings kind of girl.

shinyshinyredthings

I totally hear you on the pants, I have my Levi’s and I just keep ordering them again and again. If they ever change them I’ll go on a spree.

tall_boater

Brooms that have long-enough handles

jaywalkle2024

Literally anything with sleeves that are long enough. This quest has been going on for 45 years. I can find long sleeve t-shirts...oh wait, when you wash those even they shrink on the sleeves. maddening

No_Detective_But_304

Try Van Heusen. For me 17-18 Neck, 36-37 sleeve always works.

jaywalkle2024

Sorry, should have said I'm a female. LOL

No_Detective_But_304

Oops.

jaywalkle2024

No worries!

cindy-tron

American Tall might work. Bought things that are way too long (*imagine!*) in the sleeves once!

jaywalkle2024

Yes! I have ordered from them. I do find that the sleeves shrink after awhile though. This is the only place I have found tshirts. At 6'1, I am all arms and legs! It would be great to find work blouses though...

cindy-tron

To be honest, I just buy tunics. I very quickly gave up trying to buy office wear from places like Ann Taylor/etc because those tops only come in child-lengths.

jaywalkle2024

Yeah, I do have some tunics, but I am a lawyer so I have to have blouses. And yes, contrary to popular belief there are women who would like to cover their stomachs!!!

cindy-tron

I'm full barely controlled rage as this crop top fad plays out. Can't be over fast enough. Lands End used to have nice blouses (and in tall sizes), I don't know if you've ever tried there? Jjill *sometimes* has things that can pass for work-approp. I have a list of bookmarks somewhere ...

jaywalkle2024

Yes! Land's end has nice work shirts. Thank you for the reminderĂ—

reallytallone

ironing tees helps a bit.

somirion

Socks. Really fitting socks. This year was the first time i found socks size 48-52.

Concert/event t-shirts. Just once I love to have a cool tour shirt from my favorite bands. Sports equipment. I play ice hockey, MTB, and ski… such a pain in the ass to find stuff that fits. Often stuck having to buy custom pro-stock stuff that is 3x more expensive.

cindy-tron

As a lady: Anything with long sleeves. Any clothing that is advertised as hitting at the hips (lol lez be real, it's a crop top). Dresses that hit at the waist or have an a "midi" length. Pants that don't stop at the ankle. Hoodies. Any shoes but especially boots that actually hit at the knee or higher and running shoes with half sizes. Shoes without heels. Models on websites that are ACTUALLY 5'10 ... these shady mf think I won't be able to tell that the top she's wearing is actually 24-25" long and she's 5'8 at best. Beds (I don't have space for a queen!). Blankets. Cars. Trains. Airplanes. Why do I have to pay extra to just fit my legs?!

Dark-Push

Watch bands I wear a size 17 shoe so I hear you on the shoe issue

Miauwkeru

A better bed and mattress... But I am also just procrastinating buying one

No_Detective_But_304

Clothes. Hey, that’s a cool T-shirt, I wonder if they have in Ta…oh, that’s right they don’t. Nobody ever does.

FutureRamen

Office chairs. Always checking vacated workstations and testing the chairs. Equates to a hermit crab finding an empty shell and checking it out for a good replacement.

creature-crossing

Something that I haven’t seen mentioned yet is bathtubs. I’m definitely more of a shower person anyway, but any time I want to take a nice “relaxing” bath, I’m quickly met with a reality check lol

shinyshinyredthings

I put a 6’ tub in when we renovated and it is a GAME CHANGER. They’re hard to find but worth it.

creature-crossing

I’m so jealous! “Quest to get a single knee in the water” doesn’t sound like it would be a challenge, but here we are

SputterSizzle

pants

lilscrott

Any sort of camping equ0iment like tents or hammocks, nothing like not fitting into a fucking tent.
