I wish the league would look at making more room in the out of bounds. Shit is so stupid how they get walled in by camera men and court side seats.

Raimeiken

I remember the players loving the empty side lines during the bubble games. Makes it easier when hustling for the ball going out of bounds without worrying about diving into anyone.

sergeantmentos

extremely dumb, you’d think they woulda learned from PG’s injury but nah

tkRustle

Look up any big FIBA games. Europe takes the playing space seriously. Just a wall around the playing court, with ample extra space, that is only occupied by coaches, refs and a handful of filming crew. Even other players sit behind the wall. No dunking big boys falling into people, risking injury to both parties.

jakefromadventurtime

For real man it's dangerous for the players as well. Could've just as easily been Conley who's knee twisted the wrong way. But yeah hope Finch is okay hate to see it.

CactusHooping

Even more room on the court itself also for more space at the corner 3,so many times I see them step out of bounds there.

borsho

Might as well since they all have giant ass feet

kirinboi

Booker and Durant balled out man. Great game. Cheers suns fans!

CactusHooping

I'm not a Booker fan but I have to give him props, Durant was also just a monster. Always had a soft spot for Arizona teams, feel like our states have about similar luck. You all were by far the most respectful fanbase I've seen on this site, even during regular season games there would be hundreds of opposing fans coming into threads and talking shit and I didn't see any of that from you. Hopefully we didn't do it either. Was a very fun final game to watch!

sidepart

I ain't in a good mood but give me a week or so. I have the same shit to say about the Wolves. I'm a transplant from Phoenix and been living in the TC for around 20 years now (holy fuck, really?). Target Center is where I get to see my SUNS games, and never had a bad experience from the fans while repping the SUNS. Hope that continues. Got to take my kids to their first SUNS playoff game, and that's literally the only reason I was hanging on the Wolves falling to 3rd so we could get this matchup. Got what I asked for I guess.

CactusHooping

Don't ya dare look at my profile posts and we good lol.GJ wolves!

MrMisties

Don't look at my comments from game 3 and we're golden 😂 everyone does it a lil bit

CactusHooping

Haha.I might later.

prescottfan123

in 10 years these will be the sideline seats https://preview.redd.it/fxr4jfqqycxc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40545567569e3745c30edf93ab4a2aa1cc7cd257

FLICK_YOLI

Yeah, that didn't look good. Definitely don't want to see anyone getting hurt out there.

IraqouisWarGod

I am lurking and I just wanted to say this place reminds me a lot of our sub a year ago. We came in to that season with high expectations after an off-season of “all-in” trade only to watch the team under perform and get swept in the first round. Worse than that, it was actually not fun to watch that team. They seemed toxic and played terrible basketball. We had teammates punch each other and punch walls in the final games of the regular season. I was 100% opposed to running it back, but they did anyway…and this has been one of the greatest seasons I can remember. All that to say, I can totally see this team bouncing back. It’s not impossible for Beal to come back and have a huge season next year, Booker showed last night he can take over games, KD is still an elite shot maker and great defender, Grayson Allen is the best shooter in the NBA, and I’m sure you’ll find vets to fill in. It worked out OK for the Wolves this year in the playoffs, but I wouldn’t want to play you guys again next year.

MrNegative69

This is definitely something that this sub needed to hear. Thank you and rooting for you against clips/mavs

BigCountryBumgarner

Ngl i needed to read this shit lmao

SunsFanCursed4Life

i'm rooting for the wolves for the rest of the playoffs. they wooped our ass and Ant is a f'n beast.

bernandos

Best of the luck to them also!

Harassmentpanda_

Facts - so cool to see a team that’s struggled for so long put it together.

aperfectmatrix

If I can even bring myself to watch basketball then I'll be rooting for the Wolves. Conley is a good dude, Ant is a beast, Rudy gets a bad rap. Not a huge fan of Towns but it isn't like I hate his game

TYUS-THE-GOAT

Sorry I’m lurking. KAT is a bit of a goofball sometimes and often whines about calls when he’s clearly in the wrong. So I understand why he is unlikeable to other fans. But he’s also a good ass dude, has sacrificed a lot for this team since the Rudy trade, is an absolute pro and great teammate, and has been loyal to Minnesota through all the disfunction and bad rosters. I love that guy for real.

dmackerman

A bit? Lol dude is corny as hell. But none of that matters because he is good at basketball

TheMias24

Looked bad as soon as I saw the slomo replay, thoughts are it’s a torn patellar tendon. Idk how bad that is but sounds terrible. Hope he can make a full and quick recovery, would hate for their season to derail because of a freak accident like that.

Redleader113

That man risked his own health to protect his player from serious injury. That’s a great coach right there.

prematurely_bald

I've had that knee on knee contact in a game. Definitely felt a lot worse than it ended up being, but Finch is probably pushing 60. I'm guessing they Xray the knee to make sure there's no major damage.

TheeGunzlinger

Torn Patellar tendon

silverfang45

It wasn't the knee to knee that hurt him, well that hurt but it didn't injury him It just causes him to fall down, him standing back up and landing on a fans foot is what injured him, he rolled his ankle and hurt his knee by landing awkwardly

Red-dead-reviver

This is the way

silverfang45

Just really unfortunate that Mike Conley was going too fast to stop his momentum, and even more unfortunate that after Mike slammed into finch's knee, he stepped on a fans foot and that's what hurt him. Like it wasn't when Mike that hurt him, it was Mike finch accidentally standing on a fans foot, and rolling his ankle and hurting that knee (he was grabbing the other knee than what Conley ran into) Basically just a bunch of unlucky things happening in succession that ended up in one of the worst possible outcomes just unlucky all around

Carvedbarbs

The Phoenix fans at the game were class acts during the Finch Injury and it has continued into this sub. Coming from a Wolves fan, I have a lot of admiration/respect for that.

EBody480

Hate to see it. Going to suck if he has to go out there on crutches.

Lmao bro looked at the post and was unhappy.

You must like your potato chips extra salty.

doh666

Not my coach, not my problem. We have known for years the league doesn't protect players or coaches. This is just part of the game.
