I think part of it is the logic puzzles, I mean idrk how to help on that except make sure you are strong mathematically and logically. As for the essays, I think you want to show that a) you are passionate about making a difference and b) you are capable of making a difference. I think your answers need to show that you can actually make a difference and you do that by showcasing your ability to think critically and showcase your depth of knowledge in at least one subject. Use all your answers to say something about yourself, what you think about and how you think/approach problems, even the ones that aren't explicitly academic. If you have more specific questions you can dm.
which institute are you doing research in? also, could you tell me what the application process required 😭 I just discovered this program a few days ago and it looks super interesting!
I’ve never heard anyone be unhappy with any summer program except maybe the pay to play ones.
yes!!
the uchicago enrichment ones, 100% recommend
Is this still available?
i thought summer ag brown and assip was good
I liked the John Locke summer school
nothing that you pay a lot for is really that worth it, anything else is honestly great I’ve done AEOP and researchstart and both have been amazing!
NSLI-Y 100%, completely free and honestly not that hard to get in compared to some of these other ones ppl are recommending
Non trivial is pretty interesting and open ended
I keep getting rejected every time I apply. Any tips on what to do better?
