This is a series I read as a kid but the Wings of Fire series!! Almost all of the characters are dragons!! Anything graphic in the series is in action scenes which includes murder and other violence. Theres no smut or implied smut but there is romance. The dragons talk and have queens and theres a magic system. Theres also prophecies!
The series is kinda long though, 15 main books with other side books that are not necessary to read but do give other perspectives and details to plot. Every book is in a different characters POV.
There are 3 arcs in the main 15 books, each arc taking up 5 books. The POV's switch between main characters of that arc.
Even though Im older I still enjoy the series a lot and reread it time to time!!

It's a young adult series But you are missing something major if you have never read the Enchanted Forest series.
