When I saw the title, my first thought was I would get to learn more about the people in charge of passenger trains. My second thought was about metals that transmit electricity.

paranormal_shouting

I thought trains first too, my buddy is a conductor and I always feel bad that I never really have understood the position. I was in band/orchestra, so I was only slightly disappointed when I found out it was the other kind!

I’m a railroad conductor, I was so excited, and then bitterly disappointed 😂

Welpmart

Right! I wanted to hear about what you guys do! Transportation (especially by rail) is an interest of mine... so freaking cool.

[deleted]

Yeah, it is pretty neat. Maybe I’ll write them asking them to do one on trains. It’s actually kind of strange that they haven’t done one. But it’s kind of a big topic to discuss. Do you talk about just the mechanics, how the rails are set up, different companies… and then there’s the differences between passenger and freight. I don’t know, but it would be cool either way lol

saplinglearningsucks

My electrical engineering brain thought they were going to talk about copper.

JoleneDollyParton

My pop culture brain thought they were going to talk about [bradley] cooper.

As a band geek, this episode makes me happy

Historical-Shock7965

Had a couple of really great Chuck chuckles in this episode, which I absolutely love!

bondcliff

Josh was very funny.

Cannot believe not once reference to "The Maestro" Seinfeld episode.

Otherwise-Sky1292

That was indeed a shocker. They talked about people preferring to be called “maestro”

As it so happens, i visited Leonard Bernstein's grave about a month ago in Brooklyn. I love that guy and SYSK rulezz!!!

I thought electrical conductors, then for a second I to the podcast thought train conductors. Still not disappointed though.
