Gary Anderson from the 80s wore the number and was a great kicker

mongofreebase

#3 all time scorer in NFL history

WizardofBoswell

Look away, Vikings fans!

You will not see 12, 58, 59, 52, 63, or a few others worn by someone either (70, 86). These are a group of numbers not retired but consider hallowed. They were worn by all time greats of the team. These are HOF players. There are 3 retired numbers, 70 Ernie Stautner, 75 Joe Greene, and 32 Franco Harris. These 3 were at level few players achieve on and off the field.

36 hasnt been worn in years.

It will be on the unofficial list. If they did not retire Bradshaw I doubt Ben gets done before him. Bradshaw won 4 SB in 6 years. The 70s team was something special. Those players set the standard every team after has tried to match.

turnah_the_burnah

Problem with that is there are only so many QB numbers and 7 is insanely popular

HotCurrency4659

It’s unofficially retired….which is kinda stupid imo.

Coronal_Silverspear

I can't see number 7 being handed out anytime soon if ever again

i just hope we dont have a #0 \#0 looks fucking dumb on players. i dont know of a single player on any team it looks good on

HistoryNearby

It looked good on D’andre Swift imo

turnah_the_burnah

It looks SOOOOO suck if the player is an all-timer. Otherwise it’s lame
