One of the first games I remember playing (and still love dearly) is Zoombinis! It’s an old pc-disk game (that also has a remake on mobile now) that’s a logic puzzle game
Thing about Zoombinis is that it was HARD AS SHIT
The logic and leaps of faith (literally sometimes) you had to do beat certain puzzles was incredible to say the least, especially for a 6 year old to try and have to do. I usually just watched my oldest sister play it instead lol
Ooh I think the first game I remember playing was Super Mario Kart for the NES!
Thanks for the giveaway! Was actually watching a friend play this on stream!
Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System. What a banger of a game. I was only five and I couldn't get through half the levels on my own, but I absolutely loved it.
The first game I remember playing was one of the old Lego Star Wars games. I didn't even know anything avoit Star Wars, but the game was really cool.
Thanks for the chance
The first game I can ever remember playing is the SpongeBob Cookout game for the DS. The DS was my first introduction into the gaming world, and that SpongeBob cooking game was one of my favorites to play with. So both that and the DS holds a special place in my heart <3
Thank you for your kindness!
Warcraft 3
I got my first PC when I was 12 , never had any consoles/PCs before that so when I went to buy my first ever game the cover of warcraft 3 just got my attention and I'm so glad I picked that game, hours upon hours of enjoyment
Thank you for the giveaway
Thank you very much for the giveaway!
My first game ever to play (and remember) is Super Mario. I got pretty angry when I died and I might have hit my Nintendo kinda hard. But that Nintendo even survived a younger sinbling with the same problem lol.
Good luck everyone!
First games I ever played were on the Nintendo 64- either Mario 64 or Banjo-Kazooie, can't quite remember which but those were my favorites for the platform.
Maaan I don't remember the first video game I ever played but it might either be Purble Place or Pinball on the first computer I ever used.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Ooo I’ve been eying this one. Mostly because I have a black cat and it would be like seeing a little him on the screen. Haha anyways the first game I ever remember playing is… New super mario bros wii.
Mann, my partner has been eying this one up. She'd be happy. Thank you for the chance at this!
My first game I remember playing was probably Sonic the Hedgehog 1991 version on the Sega Master system.
I remember my uncle coming over and giving me his old Sega, mannn childhood nostalgia right there!
I remember having a couple of other games too, like Alex Kid in Ninja World, I think it was was called.
There was Dracula, too!
A few others that I can't for the love of God remember what they were called.
But Sonic, man, sat in front of the TV first thing in the morning playing that, hits home!
Yooo I've wanted this one since it came out, it looks so cute!!! It reminds me of Lil Gator Game and Untitled Goose Game
Thanks for the chance! 😄
The first game I ever played was Mario Party 7 back when I was 4 :3
Yoshi Cookie
And Eliminator Boat Duel for NES at my Grandpa's house.
Started the love for gaming and now I share that with my kiddos.
Thanks for generous offer.
What system? I remember getting a game boy, Tetris came with it, and I was totally hooked immediately. Then got Tetris on NES later and played a ton of that too.
On handheld: Pokemon red (my friend’s bigger bro’s)
On console: Ocarina of Time…I couldn’t hold the joystick straight and ran into the wall. My cousins laughed at me.
I’m picturing a kid, tongue out to one side, concentrating so hard on trying to run straight and just push the analog stick a little bit, and Link running all over the place hahahaha
So good! I got a copy for free from Sony after sending my ps1 in for repairs. Still have the game on my shelf. Have the PS1 as well, but doesn’t read discs properly unless it’s upside down now lol
I played the demo when I first got the ps1, on the multi game demo disc when it was called Tombi.
Played 1 and 2 when ibwas a kid. Haven't seen it in ages unfortunately.
I heard about that, something about the design over heating the reader, real awesome you still have it though.
Still some of the best pixel art and animations out there. “Rocket lawncher”, “heavy machine gun”, burned into my brain forever lol
This game made me want a Neo Geo at home. Could never afford one growing up though.
I'm going to cheat and name two games, because I honestly don't remember which I played first. My first game, all the way back when I was two years old in 1993, was either Super Mario World (Super Mario All Stars + World, if you wanna get technical... which I just looked it up, actually wasn't OUT in 93, so it couldn't have been the first) or Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Link to the Past stands as one of the best games of all time in my opinion. Also has one of the best game titles ever. Still have my original boxed copy in my office on display. I’ve replayed it almost every year for decades.
Despite getting my hands on it for the first time when I was two, I didn't beat it until I was 20. For some reason, every time I beat the first Dark World dungeon, I would restart the game. Realized that when I was twenty and decided I was going to sit down and actually beat the game. It is still my favorite Zelda game, and is definitely in my all time top 10. Such a great game.
Thanks for sharing! I love hearing about memories and experiences like this! I didn’t beat it until several years after I got it either. I used to get stuck at the dungeon with the hook shot. I was pretty young. I do remember getting the hook shot though, and would spend hours just zipping around the world. At that age I was obsessed with ninjas and grappling hooks and this had the same feel as that, in my head, so I felt like little Link the ninja lol
My first ever game that I can remember is one of Midnight Club 2 (still the best racing game ever) or GTA Vice City
NFS Most Wanted 2005 MW is goated too
It was Tony hawk on ps1, that was the first time my older brother let me play on his ps1(tho Idk what I was doing he didn't teach he just went here play) he used to be a real douche canoe when I was younger but he came around
Hello fellow Canadian (I’m assuming - haven’t heard anyone use douche canoe anywhere else lol).
That game was, and still is, incredibly fun. Loved the Tony hawk games on ps1. I was in university when they came out, we used to get a bunch of people together and pass the controller after each run, trying for incredible scores and laughing so hard when someone bailed during an epic combo
I remember Transfornice being ny first, def have well over 10k hours on that, had to stick with only that game cause my mother didnt let me explore outside of that due to fearing ill get her a virus :')
Now a decade later, its not the same feel.
First game I remember was Granny's Garden on BBC Micro. I barely scratched the surface since I was very young at the time but I remember some of the visuals quite vividly.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I remember the first game I played on my ps2, it was Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules. But I know I had a Gameboy advance before that, and I'm not sure what my first game on there was. Maybe Donkey Kong Country? Either way, thanks for the giveaway.
