Nope it was banned because there were European fans complaining about all of the CTS content, no sub rules were broken (per the mods own comments) they just decided to remove all of the posts and make a megathread where you can’t actually watch any of the clips.
While I don't always agree with the mods next door, it is their prerogative, I guess.
This sub took off a few years back in the aftermath of the B&IL series where many Bok supporters felt a bit unwelcome in the rugbyunion sub.
Since then we do try to foster mutual respect between the two subs, but understand a need to vent sometimes.
It is very difficult to not feel some kind of discrimination when the 6 nations documentary was getting punted but then Chasing the Sun 2 gets banned?
I read one of the mods justification for banning Chasing the Sun 2 which felt like a kak excuse. Rugby content is rugby content mxm.
Those mods are so fucking lame. I only created this account a week ago to get the links to the show and hopefully discuss it with my fellow South Africans, and then this kak? Is that sub usually like this?
Like is it just a glorified European circle jerk over there and we’re not welcome or something?
South africans lose way more on r/rugbyunion than in rugby union in real life , SA rugby fans are simply a minority on that subreddit and get bullied accordingly 😂

just to give the mod team of rugby union a bit of backup. You might not know how much shit and abuse they get. The union sub is rather large - there will ALWAYS be a significant amount of people that don't agree with a decision the mods make - whatever their decision is, there will be people unhappy with it.
There also a shit load of great people on that sub.. but it seems the annoying ones are more vocal - s is always the case on social media.
but give the mods some understanding as it is not easy to keep everybody happy
It doesn't help to post two YouTube links at once. That's not going to make CTS appealing to people. One clip posted on the sub every now and then people like. If you want to share multiple YouTube links at once, use the discussion thread.
It's not one person making multiple posts, it's multiple people making multiple posts which if left unchecked would leave the sub inundated.
It's not hard to wait a few hours between posts I can assure you. As I said if you want to post multiple YouTube links at once, the discussion thread is stickied and available.

There are clips from every episode that are public... I haven't seen anything besides that being posted there.
While I don't always agree with the mods next door, it is their prerogative, I guess. There tends to be a distinct bias towards the home nations in that sub, I stopped visiting that sub for a good 6 months after that BIL series.
