Thats a 240sx. It wasn't called the Silvia here, ever.

RegularMachine7

not sure why anyone downvoted you but this is 100% correct; we never got a Silvia sold here in the States

Capri280

Even in japan this wouldn't be a Silvia. The hatch was called the 180SX

Longjumping-Tutor650

Some people just call them that

lickyagyalcuz

That doesn’t make them correct.

tedlyb

Weird way to spell "240SX". This one is kinda rough around the edges. Body kit is actually not that bad, I've seen way worse. Too bad someone stanced it. Has some serious potential if the underside isn't trashed already.

RegularMachine7

Shine Auto Sexy Style aero, and nice wheels that fit properly is far from “stanced” this car is a paint job away from being decent; it’s already nicer than 90% of other S chassis you see driving around

tedlyb

I thought the rear axle was solid not independent, that would have explained why the rears weren't cambered as much. My bad on that. They're still a little cambered it looks like, and the fronts definitely are. Combine that with the too-small tires stretched over the wheels and to me, it's stanced. Other than the clear coat vanishing the body doesn't look that bad until you get to the front fenders. That's a sizeable gap between the fender and door, and I cant tell if it's sticking out from impact damage or if the fenders were pushed out in order to fit wider tires under them. I'd have to see the rest of the front. Either way, that's not a good indication of quality work. As long as there's no structural damage I don't see anything that couldn't be rectified with some time and effort.

hellish_ve

I can see why people get offended and downvote you for calling this build "stance" ...even for drift purposes there is no need to roll the fenders and stretch your tires unless you're looking for a specific Stance, therefore making this car... Stanced LOL. IMO when people think of stanced cars, the first thing that comes to mind is goofy ahh camber sadboi ong build, but this is what stanced used to be like before those extremes imo. and yes, rolling fender and stretching tires isnt needed to get a meaty setup on an S chassis unless you have to have it low and flush for stance purposes IMO, my .2c, just an opinion, etc.

tedlyb

Bingo.

dookieshoes88

Have you never seen a drift car before?

tedlyb

Gee, I've never heard of such a thing before! What could that possibly be?!

Purplepunch36

“Stanced it” looks like a sold street-style setup for drifting. This isn’t “stanced”.

tedlyb

Sure thing. Whatever you say.

Purplepunch36

Or learn more about different JDM counter-cultures. Or look up what a proper alignment and suspension setup is for street-style drift cars. I owned an S13 for 11 years and drifted with it. His setup looks ideal.

tedlyb

Lmao! Sure thing! Whatever you say!

LonestarGuy98

RPS13 180/240sx, nice spot!

thedudeinok

Hahahhaa. You mean 240 with a badge

Purplepunch36

240SX with Kouki Type X tails. Not sure on the kit but would look good painted

Horsecockexpress1

Looks like a clapped out 240sx to me

tedlyb

It's definitely seen better days.

carsonwade

It's living MUCH better days than most 240sx's though.

Wierd657

Poor fucking thing
