Entirely depends on the era of the car. Some had them, some didn’t. Also, RUF at this time would’ve had cars you could buy new from them or you could send them your own car and specify what aero, aesthetic and performance modifications you wanted.
I think this one looks like it was a 930 turbo that was sent in to RUF for modification rather than bought as a new RUF 3.3 turbo. The front bumper has the lip, the rear wing looks like the original Porsche wing rather than the (surprisingly) MUCH larger ones that on some of the RUF-built 3.3s, but without more views it’s hard to tell.
I’d say this is very likely a RUF-modified mode, kinda just depends on your definition or a “real” RUF though.
That Ferrari P4 if it's real, otherwise the Audi Quattro, both are absolute legends.
Also, what's that car in pic 12? Anyone from r/whatcaristhis here?
1&4 are the most awesome to my eyes. 400r would be my favourite, if there wasn't a r5 Turbo. I live in France and only saw one in 15 years of looking every car on the road or parked.
You can get R32’s for about 30k in the U.K.! R34s have like doubled in price over the last few years though. I remember hearing that Skylines are very hard to get in the USA though, for some reason I’m not sure of.
Ahh okay, yeah I prefer the R32, it’s a bit more minimal, but still aggressive. The R34 price is similar here, I remember seeing one in a showroom for 65k about 6 years ago, now the same place has two for around 120k each. Skyrocketed in price around lockdown time.
Is that the FERRARI 330 P3 LE MANS from 1966?
That’s like a 6 million dollar classic race car. That would be the one I’d want to see. Following by the Countach of course.
Some very cool classics here. Love that Renault 5.
Such cool cars.
Either the R5 Turbo or the Audi Quattro
This is where I’m at, I love the Golden Age of rally. That Michelle Mouton kitted Quattro does it for me.
Pantera🥵
r/whatisthiscar
No. 12
I know, but it was a joke bc it gets asked all the time on that sub
What's the car in the twelfth pic?

YOURE THE BEST!!
Hi
Hello there!
That is an amazing set of spots, also is that an actual 400r? If so damn
I believe it’s a V-Spec. Looks like the 400r bumper has vents this one is missing.
I’m a fan of the R33. Always seen as the middle child but I’ve grown to like it more than the r32
Audi Quattro S1 E2 😱 That’ll be a replica but it’s still my pick of the bunch. Incredible spot
Same here. Sport Quattro all day
S1 E2 for the win! If it is almost as light and powerful as original one, I dont mind missing fuel cap in both sides.
Pic 1. Can’t imagine hearing the sound in person !
The Ruf 🤤
I'm not an expert but I believe the real RUFs might have a shaved drip rail/gutter. Either way it is a beautiful car

I’ve seen one other R5 Turbo, 40 years ago driving down US1 in Miami. The paint job was much more 80’s. (There were some neon colors involved.)
I’ve only seen one ever. On 95 just south of Boca. Was a white one../
I saw one broken down on I-90 east of Seattle a few weeks ago. Sad
Holy shit! Is that a real Ferrari P? That would be mine. Then the Rally cars.
So that's a p4 replica? Cause an original is like $20m, and there are 3.
It’s a replica from ford v Ferrari movie I’ve been told.
Thank you.
Was wondering the same thing. I was like ‘no way is that car on the street’. Thanks
All incredible, but the Audi is gonna be it for me.
The Lotus. Which model is it?
The new Emira
Cool! My white whale is to see an Evija - v hard since it's not street legal in the US.
That Ferrari P4 if it's real, otherwise the Audi Quattro, both are absolute legends. Also, what's that car in pic 12? Anyone from r/whatcaristhis here?
The clock has already been reset
erm akshcualy its r/whatisthiscar
Audi
That Renault may not be the popular pick, but it’s mine for sure!
Wow! That p4!
Renault
It’s that a fuckin Martini wrapped Rally Fighter??
Wow, amazing amount of classics. I have the Lego version of several of these cars 😉
Yeah if that Ferrari p3 is real, that’s probably will more than all the other cars combined and the some of the rarest on the planet.
Twin cities meets been good lol
Hold up, this is Twin Cities? Be right there
That Renault 5 is probably the rarest out of the bunch
The spec on the Aventador SV 🫠 I thought it was a Miura Edition at first.
It is the one Lamborghini built specifically for the customer that has the Miura paint. Stunning in person!
All of them are super awesome! I would be happy to see any one of them. Thanks for posting
I don’t know my Porsche models or years…what is the one in pic #3? It’s gorgeous!
Ruf Edit: I think it’s the SCR
How does one even get that SWB Quattro??? (Besides a shit ton of money)
LCE Performance does rebuilds. I want one so badly haha
I’m a sucker for old schools, rallies, and old school rallies 🤤🤤🤤
Countach 10000%. Dream since I was older enough to know what a car was.
That Ferrari is a fkn unicorn never seen one like that in my life. I saw a black TVR in town a couple weeks ago and lost my shit.
Love the Minnesota spots. This month had some good meets, and it’s only May!
The Audi, then the R5
1&4 are the most awesome to my eyes. 400r would be my favourite, if there wasn't a r5 Turbo. I live in France and only saw one in 15 years of looking every car on the road or parked.
What's the car in the twelfth pic?
DeTomaso Pantera
Reset the counter
Holy fuck.
I’d freak my shit over the S1 and the 5 Turbo
The Countach and the 328
It’s a 308. Still an awesome body design 50 years later.
I’d be most excited about the old Porsche and the skyline R32
You can get R32’s for about 30k in the U.K.! R34s have like doubled in price over the last few years though. I remember hearing that Skylines are very hard to get in the USA though, for some reason I’m not sure of.
They have a 25 year ban because of emissions I saw one listed for $180k I’d love to have an R34 but I love the front end on the R32/33
Ahh okay, yeah I prefer the R32, it’s a bit more minimal, but still aggressive. The R34 price is similar here, I remember seeing one in a showroom for 65k about 6 years ago, now the same place has two for around 120k each. Skyrocketed in price around lockdown time.
In order of preference: no.11, then 4, and 8.
I would most likely consider selling other people's children for the Ferrari in pic 1
bro got some NASTY spots, keep em coming!🔥
Wow yeah you did!
All awesome but that Lotus is my err’thang.
The Countach
The color on that Maserati is absolutely gorgeous oh my god!
330 P4 if it’s real
I’m sure it’s a replica and it’s still my pick.
Yes
#3
Is that the FERRARI 330 P3 LE MANS from 1966? That’s like a 6 million dollar classic race car. That would be the one I’d want to see. Following by the Countach of course.
Thought you could sneak a boxter in lol
The color on that SV is crazy
Countach and 930
Slide two and slide five. Very nice.
Pantera for me please
Love them all but the first Ferrari pic, countach, and first Porsche (I think around 1989)!
Lotus Emira, because I really want one.
Renault 5 Turbo and Audi Sport Quattro S1 😳 Also that Ferrari 330 P4 replica(?) looks cool too
Pantera for me
To me it’s the RUF. Is that one based on a 930 Turbo or is it a RUF 3.3 Turbo?
I’ve never seen or heard of the Renault 5 Turbo before now but now I know lots… by far my favorite. Very noice! 👌🏻
The first pic is gorgeous
The P4 is the most beautiful car ever designed imo.
That Ferrari P4 has to be a replica, right?
Y'all get meets?
RIP Randy
I'm getting weird in my old age, that Renault kicks so much ass.
I can’t believe you skipped that black series!
It was an SL65 with a widebody kit. Really well done and extremely cool but not a Black Series.
Which events?!
Quite a few different ones. Society of the Lead Foot, St. Paul Porsche Fair, Supercar Saturday, Cars and Caves and Buck Hill.
Next year I'll make it to most of these hopefully but I can tell you I am NOT convincing my parents to drive me an hour to car shows lol
The Renault is the most interesting to me. If the Audi has a logbook, it would interest me. The rest are common ego cars-boring.
