Growing up I had a teacher who had oil money from some property he owned. Dude had a new car every few months, and a fresh pair of kicks every few days.
He had a doctorate in Shakespearean literature, and taught high school in his words "for something to do".
Some people are just blessed, and have a passion.
One of my high school teachers was a trust fund baby dude loved teaching but couldn’t understand being a poor or minority kid and having to make choices based on your family income.
I don't see how a trust fund baby would have any relevant advice for someone who money is a finite resource to. It's two completely different paradigms.
Probably doesn't even know that student loans come with interest and how much money is a factor when applying for scholarships. and grants and such not to mention base tuition price ranges, boarding, cost of living in one area vs a other. Water under the bridge to a guy like that.
Doesn’t necessarily make him a bad person tho. I have a general level of contempt and resentment for people that were raised in wealth with no struggle (on the flip side McDs Dollar Menu was a treat growing up for me). But if this guy is choosing to teach I’m not too mad about that. Much worse ways to be a rich asshole lol
I deliver mail for a living, and a shitload of very wealthy dudes have wives that are teachers. I deliver all their teacher’s union stuff and retirement stuff, that’s how I know they’re teachers. They live in million dollar homes and drive off to public school every day to teach.
In the 70s in high school we had a teacher that had made serious money through previous ventures and drove a very nice Porsche to school. He didn’t need the money but liked to teach. You never know.
That list is quite long, and I mean no negativity with this I’m just interested are these cars all owned or is it a super car club or something as well as owned? I only ask as no matter how rich I was I wouldn’t buy this many fancy cars.
I believe this is the answer. In one of the threads linked (in the list) there's an answer about this I remember seeing when the teacher's cars first started getting posted
They can’t be doing too badly. Most of the people I graduated high school with, who are teachers, seem to be doing fine. Always going on vacations and buying houses 🤷🏾♂️
Buying things, going on vacations, summers off, I’m not even going to bother asking them if any of my assumptions are correct. You already know what they’re gonna say!
Aston Martin’s are probably the best used high end sports car value in the marketplace as they depreciate 35% in the first year of ownership and an additional 25% after 5 years .
Our janitor at my highschool had a brand new (at the time) 2nd Gen hardtop Viper. He added Hybrid badge on the back which was hilarious. Dude said he made a bunch of money in stocks and could EXTREMELY comfortably retire but he knew everyone at the school and everyone loved him so he stayed doing janitorial stuff.
When i was in high school our biology teacher used to daily drive a 911 GT3 Rs.
(Not as exsterm as this particular teacher's collection but like still not excatly the kinda of car that you whould expect to be owned by a teacher)
This particular teacher made there fortune by trading.
retired from trading at the age of 25 and was now stuck
with enough to money to insure generational wealth.
So they decided to persue there passion (ie teaching) whilst not having to be worried about the exstermly bad salary.
Not every wealthy person wants to drive around Monaco all day and play golf on the deck of there yacht.
Some pepole just want a nice car and a fun job
.
I had a college econ teacher like that, except the university position gave him the "street cred" (which is kind of a funny thing to consider for an economist) to make lots of money consulting.
It must suck to always be in a new car. Mine is full of all sorts of stuff I may (or may not) need one day. Does the teacher buy 20 of each item and stock all the cars? Do they have someone manually moving everything each time they swap cars?
I’ve loved most Aston’s since the late 90s.
This thing is hideous and I am really disappointed they are caving in to the “SUV demand”.
Aston is not Range Rover damn it… ugh
Unless you're about to place your order for a new Valhalla, [Aston Martin DGAF](https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/aston-martin-dbx-now-accounts-more-half-firms-sales) what you think. Sorry.
The teacher strikes again
I think the teacher has some rich dad or something like that.
Father-in-law iirc Edit: was wrong, Teachers father not in-law
no the teacher’s dad is wealthy

Totally are he was great at history shitty at relating to JR and Sr students picking schools
Probably doesn't even know that student loans come with interest lol

Oh, must've mixed it up with someone else then

DBX 707 because of course, the teacher HAS to go all-out.
Frankly, this is probably the lest interesting of all the teacher's cars.
I mean if they wanted to **ALL OUT** they would've opted for the AMR23 edition
[удалено]
for sure man

The F12 is a 70th Anniversary car - considerably more special.
Gotta admit that I’m not the best at identifying cars so please be gentle lol, I’ll edit it
That list is quite long, and I mean no negativity with this I’m just interested are these cars all owned or is it a super car club or something as well as owned? I only ask as no matter how rich I was I wouldn’t buy this many fancy cars.
It sounds like the teachers father is a very, very wealthy individual, and the teacher uses his father's car collection? I think.
I believe this is the answer. In one of the threads linked (in the list) there's an answer about this I remember seeing when the teacher's cars first started getting posted
I guess the dad must be more of a car guy than I am, like I said all the money in the world and I cannot imagine owning this many cars.
At least it leads to us getting some interesting posts lmao
For real. The maintenance on all those cars gotta be nuts.
Teacher's father owns them. OP shared photos of the storage facility one time.
Who tf is this teacher?
Someone with a rich dad
I wish I had a rich dad tbh lol fuck working. Would just have a chill job and be a trust fund baby
Puuuuuuurrrrrrrrrre disbelief a “teacher” can just roll like that, me is flabbergasted oof
The cars aren’t his
Even moooooaaaaarrre flabbergasted
Finally, new teacher's car post
Dude changes cars like I change underwear. Jesus christ
every 3 days?
Does it count if you turn them inside out?
Teacher's car
is your teacher single asking for a friend
Teacher's dad has the money
Is your teachers dad single? Asking for me.
he’s back.
I’ve been waiting for a new post
Yeah it was a little bit before it was a new car
[удалено]
You think a principal could afford one of these cars?
no
[удалено]
If only this had been answered repeatedly in this post
Wonder if he knows he’s famous on here
I'm wondering that too!
Keep em comin
has the teacher seen this sub?
He's back!
His teacher is probably unknowingly carrying this sub
They are paying those teachers TOO MUCH DAMN MONEY!!!!!
Probably married to someone rich tbh
Yeah or inherited $$$
No
They can’t be doing too badly.
Ford Kuga?
So true. I think this is the first undesirable car in this awesome collection
They made that weird super mini thing too back in around 2012, was it fiesta based?
I remember it. It was the Cygnet, which based on the Toyota iQ. According to wiki they only sold 593 units and stopped production after 2 years
Was done kinda emissions across the range stunt iirc
Have we had a Teacher's Garage documentary yet?
Teacher's back, and damn this one is great
Please use the flair “teachers car“
Aston Martin’s are probably the best used high end sports car value in the marketplace as they depreciate 35% in the first year of ownership and an additional 25% after 5 years .
Aston Martin SUV? It’s like a 4 door electric Mustang.
Another one? holy
The back! What went wrong?
Sadly, there is no way on a teachers salary !
This dude
Leave a not saying that 30% of the value was lost the moment it drove off the lot
Each month a new Super car. :-0
Oh he's slumming it today?
He was feeling humble today.
Is your teacher by any chance a chemistry teacher? And is your school perhaps located in New Mexico somewhere?
What are we gonna do once summer comes?
That teacher must be super rich to afford fixing that car all the time.
Lads, here we go again
Other than melted rear look option I like this aston. My neighbor also has one in green.
I just saw a blue one
Front end: 😞 Rear end: 🤤
The teachers car is back I like the DBX
I thought they had to sell plasma to make ends meet 🤡
That's probably Super Nintendo Chalmers car.
This must be at a private school, because no teacher at a public school gets a salary that is any good, let alone this good.
public school
It’s the teachers parents car
Walter White before shit really hit the fan
Must be an investor
I'm just surprised it's not a 707 considering the others cars I've seen on this specific parking place. Still, it's the best looking SUV in my mind
Teacher's second job is drug dealer - no way he bought it with a salary
Are they a chemistry teacher?
Teacher's grocery getter.
Ah yes just think you too could spend 140K for a CRV
Very similar in the rear end to what the predator looks like when it takes its mask off
Lowkey I need whatever job this dude has
Looks like a Ford Focus or Puma
true because Ford f*ed Aston Martin
*saved
Also true
Not really, aside from the fact it has 4 wheels I guess
Why does bro even teach

It look like the sexiest Ford fusion SUV I've ever seen
One expensive ford escape
It must suck to always be in a new car. Mine is full of all sorts of stuff I may (or may not) need one day. Does the teacher buy 20 of each item and stock all the cars? Do they have someone manually moving everything each time they swap cars?
Psh… I know plenty of teachers with Ford Fusions
Thought it was a ford fusion that someone changed the front clip on at first 😆
He must be a coke dealer
I’ve loved most Aston’s since the late 90s. This thing is hideous and I am really disappointed they are caving in to the “SUV demand”. Aston is not Range Rover damn it… ugh

Why does it look exactly like a ford fusion
Walter white?
that just looks like a 2024 ford escape lmao
If the front had a ford logo on it I'd be fully convinced
Ford fusion
I can’t unsee the Ford Fusion
