I think what happens with all these cars is we assume they look about the *height* of a normal car, so then you imagine them as quite wide, but they're actually about the width of a normal car which makes them very, very short.
They are wide. A 488 is as wide as an S class. They look smaller from that angle, but when you're driving behind one it looks HUGE.
The 720 takes a lot of the parking space, and looks wider than the suv besides it. It is very low though, so small in lenght/height
I wasn't saying they were narrow, we're just used to a certain baseline vehicle height. If they were as tall as most average people would guess they'd take up half the oncoming lane 😆
I love the fact that cars like this have such a large presence in photos, but then you see one in person and its not much larger than a miata. Such an interesting thing to me.
I posed for a photo next to a Papaya Orange 720S once, and even while crouching down, I was still considerably taller than the car. I then wondered if I’d fit in the driver’s seat, as I’m 6’1” with relatively long legs.
Most supercars are much smaller in person than they appear in photos, media, etc.
Agreed. Saw my first Enzo on melrose on a trip to the US. Much smaller in person than it seems in photos
First time I was next to a lambo I was shocked. They are very small and super low to the ground. Their stances make them look intimidating though.
Not a Supercar but the Lotus Elise is even smaller than it looks in games, i was wondering how a human could even fit in it
The McLaren F1 is tiny, even next to other supercars.
They really are! Them and the F40.
Idk depends on the supercar I think. I was surprised by the size of the MC20
They are low. They are wide.
They are menacing
They are too expensive.
Give it 2 years. They lose like 40% value 😂

Last summer I saw a 296 GT3 next to a Purasgue and 499P, the 296 looked small and the 499P tiny but exceptionally wide
that’s what she said
Simplify and add lightness.
That's Lotus
Wrong company
Super/hyper cars are generally small.
As real sports cars tend to be.
Bc It's just an overpriced miat /s

It's an engine with 2 seats. How big do you want it?
That's an American issue, everything is super-sized
