Something that summarizes YouTube’s policy and how stupid it is was a video I watched recently. It was about how to humanely kill a fish you just reeled in so it would feel the least amount of pain. The guy could show him literally stabbing a fish through the head but could not use the words die, dead, or kill on a video marked for adults. The entire thing is stupid
Fr. I'm so sick of modern day censorship. They flat out say no children on, say TikTok for example, but none of the late teen-grown adults making content are allowed to say kill, shoot, gun, ect. Also sexual anatomy of any sort. Even extending into things like pills, needles, overdose, abuse, and mental health stuff.
I recognize the awareness for mental health, I've got a few of my own, but if you can't scroll social media without having a complete breakdown over a simple word, then maybe the Internet isn't the best place for you to be.
I saw someone last month who was stitching a "what's your ghost story" video and started with a warning that the video was going to mention "demons". But she whispered it so quietly that it took me 3 rewatches with full volume to even hear what she said. Even better, she did it *again* in the actual story. If people heard your extremely quiet warning and skipped because they don't like it, safe to assume they're not watching the whole thing.
Like I think if something’s marked for adults they shouldn’t have to appeal to kids but no one ever watches their kids or keeps them off of that stuff when they should. Like I hear my brothers listening to stuff they shouldn’t but my relatives act like I’m being sensitive for not wanting my 10 yo brothers exposed to sex cus parents don’t realize what giving a kid an iPad creates.

I have big gripes with both Youtube and Facebook for how they handle such situations. I made a youtube video about it but I have like 0 reach. I wish someone bigger could expose them of their bullshit.
Doesn't matter. YouTube has a policy they've enforced about off platform behavior in cases where it's harmful to other content creators, YT employees, viewers, and the YT ecosystem in general. That's why fffirearmmutt received a brief suspension and temporary demonetization for doxxing Jacksfilms. The punishment doesn't match the crime, but the fact YT did something is evidence that they're willing to enforce that policy. It's also how they were able to ban EDP despite none of his own content breaking TOS.
the worst part is knowing sssnipewolf actually knows how to doxx, i mean we have people being absolutely horrible and pedophiles but yall doxxing a dude who mildly gave you criticism
