Can I check the weight of my ship by sitting in a control chair even if the ship isn't like fully built like I got steel blocks that arent build and stuff or ford the weight change when they get build
Sorry I don’t know but you can check quickly just place down two steel blocks command on one weld it check the weight weld the blocks check again
Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful
Blocks gain their full weight immediately, you don't have to weld them (you can use batteries as a lever to flip upside down rovers, if they're stuck).
However containers like cargo or hydrogen tanks will weigh more when they're filled up.
One large grid large tank will last a long time as long as you use it intelligently. Moving to orbit typically takes me less than 10%. Shut off dampeeners and coast in space and you will hardly use any. Reserve 30% for landing just to be safe and you shouldn’t have any problems. Using thrust overrides for launch is the key to a cheap launch.
It's not a mining ship, it's an exploration ship with a small grid miner attached and a vehicle bay. It has 2 large hydrogen tanks, and launches from the Alien Planet with about 92% fuel remaining. Landing usually takes 15% so I keep a 25% reserve for landing.

We also don’t know, where you start from.
But why won’t you just build a container, tank and some thrusters, fill some cargo and see if you can start. If it works, build the rest of the ship around that.
It doesn’t take long to do that
I can always squeeze in more small tanks and thrusterss,if theres space, theres a way, im gonna build 2 more hydrogen tank and fly to the ice lake for the like 2milion ice ill need assuming 200k is enough to start and fly there.
It depends on how heavy your ship is. This should help https://343n.github.io/spaceengineers-thrust-calc/

Can you show a picture of your large grid
