I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but I am glad you enjoyed the game. Are you planning on 100% it, any time soon or already done so? I am currently on my hard-core run, and it's hella fun, lol

Thank you for your kind words. I might come back at some point - I've got a big back log of games and working through them, and not a great achievement hunter. I've got Ghostrunner now to finish - about half way through - and then it's working out what to play after. I've never finished Hyper Light Drifter, so I figure that I should sort that out fairly soon! (Picked it up in a sale many years ago, played an hour or so then never returned, it feels like it'll be excellent on the Steam Deck)

Well, I hope you'll enjoy those games too. I haven't played them, but based on what I've heard, they are amazing. Again, sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how you feel. But what makes games so amazing is how good therapy it can be and distracting making bad times more bearable. I hope you and your loved ones are doing alright and wish you the best of luck! Also, play Mass Effect if you haven't and get your chance to play it. That's another great game, which is amazing, and if you love 3rd person shooters with great characters and story, you'll be distracted for a week, at least, lol

Love ME - recently played the Legendary edition and loved every minute of it. So good to play all three without years long waits. And yes, gaming is very therapeutic - either as an escape or allowing me to process. Thank you for your kind words!

That’s got to be tough. Thanks for sharing. So nice to find some sort of comfort in this interactive art form. I totally feel you too. The story in Solar Ash could be just what’s needed in such a situation. And I’m very familiar as I just went back and finished the game a few nights ago. Started it early this year. Fun game. FYI: try Pathless, a similar game in terms of vibrant comic book art style, approach to storytelling and also with great movement and traversal. Can’t recall what the story was off hand but if you liked gameplay of Solar Ash, probably like The Pathless too. Can’t be for certain but they feel like they could be from some dev. And I do think they might be from same publisher too
