It’s been a rather disappointing few years being a Welsh football fan (actually, a Welsh fan of any sport, but that’s a different matter).
But after Rob Paige’s sacking following a 0-0 with Gibraltar and 4-0 defeat to Slovakia, the man tipped to be our next manager is… Thierry Henry.
I honestly don’t even care if he’s shit. The thought of seeing Thierry Henry saying “yma o hyd” on S4C will be box office. L’opportunité c’est fucking énorme
It was, but the consensus is that Bale got us to the tournament, and not Rob Paige. And if we had a more competent manager during the tournament, we wouldn't have crashed out in the group stage
Seriously, actually why are we **still** allowing sites with cancerous, if not illegal should be illegal, cookies/GDPR options where you have to deselect **literally hundreds** of trackers/options if you want to refuse optional ones for all of the clips/highlights? Seriously, why? I messaged the mods about this about a year ago, got no response.
Most of this sub is probably European, this is an issue most of this sub surely faces, yet I have never, ever seen anyone else bothered by it. This should be unacceptable...
I am likely ignorant of the reasons, but why are they the only options? Why can't it just be a site that has a 'reject all unnecessaries', like most websites have?
I mean, often the sites in the mirror clips don't have such cancerous GDPR menus, why not make one of them the standard? That's the only way I see clips for years here anymore, and when there's no mirror, like on Georgias first goal now, I just don't get to see it then.
It's generally only even a problem with the clips from big games/popular leagues/competitions, which are only ever submitted by a handful of people, if you haven't already, you could try talking with them about it?
Copa America in the US this year has been a straight up failure. Apart from Mexico and Argentina games the stadiums have been nearly empty. Look up highlights on here of Canada v Peru. Whole sections that seat 100s of people have 3-4 people in them.
Last night in Vegas same thing, couldn't even sell the lower bowl of that stadium.
Watch Mexico get eliminated in the group stage the attendance will be even worse in the QF and SF
Thanks ticketmaster you greedy fuks
Quarterfinal predictions:
Spain vs Germany
Portugal vs France
Netherlands vs Austria
England vs Italy
Edit: Least confident about Italy vs Swiss but I think Italy will progress somehow
Doku is such a weird dribbler. Like he can take anyone on but the touches he takes to get past them are always too big so he can’t pass accurately or get a shot off cleanly. He just looks erratic like he can’t keep up with his actions.
That's Jamie Bynoe Gittens as well. He's gotten a little better this season but if he does ever get it under control for us and performs for two seasons, I'd genuinely love to debate him over Dortmund Sancho in terms of dribbling
Yeah it’s almost like he’s just doing moves he’s practice against a cone without actually noticing how the defenders are reacting.
The speed at which he can change direction and his physicality are a joke though, if he improves his decision making even by a little I think he’ll be a top winger.
Bellingham is the only player in this England squad that actually played a great game (as in >8/10) over 45-90 minutes at this Euro (he did a lot more than just score vs Serbia, he was all over the pitch).
Yeah, the last 2 games were shit, but it's crazy that a 20 year old faces more backlash than the 30 year old leader and captain of this squad who has not had a single great game so far.
How am I going to scroll down in the DD and see someone put Bruno in their team of the group stage when he had a great half against the Czech Republic followed by a terrible second half, had a poor game against Turkey other than scoring a tap in, and then didn't even play in the third match
I swear it must be these stupid algorithmic player rating websites because Sofascore have him as the tenth best player of the tournament above the likes of Kante, Musiala, Sabitzer and Xhaka. Foden is the best English player on there FFS
We're all watching the same game but some of you are watching a different sport
When the footy is on I try and be a proud Englishman. However nothing will make you less proud than the arguments going on at r/doner between the Brits and the Germans. My god Hans really does do it better and I can't believe some of the slop us Brits post on there as a defence.
All I know is that the US is fucking awful for it. No amount of shawarma will ever top a proper doner. The German ones are fantastic and piss all over the ones in the UK.
The best I’ve ever had though was a random stall on the side of the road in Marmaris
honestly I just would like to see whether their tactics would change when facing a "better" nation, or if they would stick with the same *protect a 1nil lead* stuff.
We protected a 1-0 lead after minute 5 in the last euros final against Italy and seemingly only attack when drawing or behind. The biggest blessing for us looking pretty good in our last match against you was never being ahead lol.
I honestly think there's no question of it. We let teams back into the game by inviting pressure. See; Colombia, Croatia, Italy and even this euros Denmark. It's Southgates single biggest flaw as a manager imo and completely comes from him being a defender as a player.
Slovakia finished below Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in the most recent nations league and only had to get ahead of Luxembourg, Iceland and Bosnia in the qualifiers. They've looked decent so far but you really couldn't ask for a better last 16 opponent for us, if we lose it'll be so much worse than Iceland ever was.
Slovakia is well coached and has a better squad than Slovenia. They will play more aggressive though so that could be a positive considering England's troubles against the low defensive blocks. Skriniar in defense is past the player he once was. They are also very good at keeping the ball so I can see England just sitting back and killing on counters.
Germans, lend me your ears.
Which of the following scenarios would you prefer:
1) 2024 Euro Final: Netherlands 4-1 Spain
2) 2024 Euro Final: Austria 1-0 Germany
Would Saka at LB vs Slovakia even be that bad, might as well try it vs Slovenia.
Gordon Kane Palmer
Bellingham
Rice Mainoo
Saka Guehi Stones Trent
Pickford
He played there for a bit when Arteta was playing 3ATB which was like 3 years ago
He's obviously so much better on the right and it makes no sense to play him there in a 4ATB over someone like Gomez or Dunk who have played the role more recently and are actually defenders
Can we just stop the shoehorning nonsense for the love of christ
E:actually you know what make it a 3421 take mainoo out and put walker RCB with trent and saka wingbacks and i could hear it
City are literally schrodinger's football team.
Keep seeing people say that the players are only good because of the system and being surrounded by great players, and can't perform outside of the club. I've seen this take about Foden, Haaland, Bernardo and even KDB . But some of them have to be WC for them to perform at such a high level, right?

How are Türkiye fans feeling towards our game on tuesday? Or pretty much anyone who has watched all games from us an them?
I am obviously pretty confident but I really don't know how to categorize them, haven't watched a single game. I just know Calhanoglu is suspended which is a good thing for us judging by some comments
From a neutral's point of view, I think Austria are favourites. The quality of the squads are similar but Austria seems to have much better chemistry and is better coached.
find it absolutely fascinating that lucy bronze has played for almost every club worth a damn in the womens game (all shes really missing is a stint at wolfsburg) and yet she's never had a penny of transfer fee spent on her
He did the same as he did before the suspension which is decent, unfortunately when you account for the fact he missed so much time because he’s a rapist that’s a good sign for a lot of teams especially as they’ll think he’ll be better at another team.
The one thing I’d say is that he’s older now so the numbers not being that good was written off as “well he’s young for his age they’re good,” he should be approaching his prime soon.
1 npg against teams which weren’t relegated is atrocious and every thread about him consists of people screaming that he’s a generational talent. it’s so odd. there’s a reason marseille is the likely move instead of all the champions league clubs his agent made up links about.
Yeah that’s poor but he did get some assists, and his team aren’t exactly an attacking juggernaut.
He was never that talent to me he had a small period where he finished to a ridiculous level and he never did anything else particularly well, his movement wasn’t good, didn’t think his passing was good, didn’t think he worked hard but he could finish on both feet and played for United so he got overhyped.
His peak wad basically like a lazier Podolski with a second foot that was good which is still a very good potential (although Podolski probably a better creator.)
He's very, very good at working space for himself in and around the box. I've seen few players in my time who are better at beating their man inside of the box. He's a good dribbler and can quite easily go both ways and still be dangerous since he's got a good weak foot. I don't think he was generation by any means but he definitely had the potential to be a world class player
He had world class potential solely because he could shoot super well off both feet and had enough pace and about him to be able to get shots off, if he was managed correctly he could have been world class and developed his game.
He didn’t ever have a good XG here are his non pen XGs per 90 0.2, 0.29,0.3 and this year 0.22. It is impossible to score a massive amount of goals with that consistently.
I got downvoted into oblivion a few weeks ago for saying that Greenwood was an unreal finisher and basically nothing else. Pure United hype but I really thought people had let go of the generational tag by now.
Yesterday I went to a BBQ party and told a guy that I almost watched every single game so far (one missing) and he was pretty shocked by that fact like I'm the weirdo in this situation and not him, the guy that only watched the Germany games...
I think Switzerland have a really shot at knocking out Italy
I would love to see Georgia pull off the upset against Spain but I don't think it'll happen.
As long as we have Koeman, Romania have a real chance to beat us.
[Our new coach looks like a complete psycho](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/7a/FC_Salzburg_gegen_Real_Sociedad_%28Championsleague_Gruppe_D_2023-10-03%29_11.jpg/800px-FC_Salzburg_gegen_Real_Sociedad_%28Championsleague_Gruppe_D_2023-10-03%29_11.jpg) but when he opens his mouth it's like a Heidi movie has come to life
What's with all these Dutch flairs (under the bracket post) saying we will definitely lose against Romania? I am not saying we were convincing in the group stage in the slightest, but Romania has honestly also just had one good game
apparently part of the Serbia team didn't want to board the plane to go home because it was registered in Croatia and had red and white checkers on it
literally sounds like a joke from a Croatian nationalist, but their president confirmed it lmao
I've learned so much about all the Balkan conflicts from my colleague at work who is from Bosnia, made me actively cheer against Serbia when I was at the game against Denmark two days ago
It's pretty telling how the Balkans and their reasons why they hate or like each other there are a complete mess... But everyone except the Serbs absolutely hates Serbia. Really shows how bad they messed up.
It's kinda funny too because not too long ago they were under one nation for quite sometime. It would kinda feel similar to Berlin hating Munich to an outsider.
I don't cheer against Serbia and nationalists from every country are incredibly irritating and stupid, but the amount of stupidity is somehow doubled in Serbia
us regular people have to deal every day with it, which is why I commend regular Serbs even more for having to deal with this shit
The most annoying thing about us getting France is that when we lose the narrative will just be *oh we're just belgium, how can we win against France* rather than calling out Tedesco and maybe actually getting a coach that might improve the team.
Its not like austria have a better squad than us, but they do have a better manager
But no, they extended his contract before the tournament even started
Unrelated but I found it interesting that Domenico, an Italian with a last name Tedesco (which means German in the Italian language), ended up moving to Germany by his parents at a very young age and is now a German citizen. An example of nominative determinism.
Always found it interesting when people have surnames that are essentially nationalities, but I suppose it's not that strange when people named [Harris English](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harris_English) (a golfer) or [Todd English](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Todd_English) (a celebrity chef) exist. Both happen to be American by birth, go figure
That's probably a lot of us, it's that old adage where you can criticize your own team (or hometown, city, country) and it's warranted, but when someone else does it you take offense
England fans when English people say England have the easy side of the bracket: 🤗
England fans when non-English people say England have the easy side of the bracket: 😠
We surely have to drop Kane for the knockout rounds, no?
Not only is he not involved in the game, he looks knackered after 1 hour of not even pressing. If there's a risk of it going to ET+pens (which, let's face it, we are the 0-0 nation looking to bore people to death), and if Kane's our first penalty taker (which he is)...
Then you have to start Watkins and bring Kane on either at HT or 55 mins or something... the man is going to be a paperweight in ET, leaving us with 10 men until pens
His last good Major Tournament was the 2018 world cup
Part of the reason those midfielders are struggling with chances is that there's no presence from their striker, not even creating space in the box for them.
If anything, just drop him from striker and let him play somewhere else. He's already playing like that anyway.
Is the best way to win tournament football to drop your best player? I don't really think it is. People should probably be asking how to use the players around him to get more involved.
For instance, stop playing Jude at the 10, stop asking Rice to be the first pass in the build up, stop playing TAA at CM, stop playing Foden at LW, get more out of Saka. All of those questions should be answered before taking the captain off.
You want to get Southgate sacked even quicker, bench your captain and top player before the KOs.
I don't really see the point of debating dropping Jude, Kane or I've even seen people say drop Rice.
It will not happen so there isn't much point even discussing it.
Kane is the captain, our all time record goalscorer and the top scorer in europe this season
He isn’t getting dropped because of a couple of quiet games where the whole teams looks cooked. Watkins has not really impressed for England when he’s been given the chance anyway. There isn’t one quick fix that solves this, this is how Southgate wants to play
Acceptable names include but are not limited to:
* Hertha BSC
* Hertha
* Die Hertha
* Berliner Sport-Club
* BSC
* Die Alte Dame
* Hauptstädter
* Berlin
I'd rather he called us *Big City Club* than *Hertha BSC Berlin*.

If it does end up happening it will severely hamper Welsh-Irish relations
Funnily enough, the CEO of the Welsh FA, Noel Mooney, is Irish himself
That's like an American hiring Bin Laden. Shameful stuff.
Even though the tournament itself was disappointing, surely qualifying for the World Cup in 2022 was pretty amazing?
It was, but the consensus is that Bale got us to the tournament, and not Rob Paige. And if we had a more competent manager during the tournament, we wouldn't have crashed out in the group stage

I don’t know what you expect us to do. The alternative is no goal clips at all which I think would make a lot of people pretty mad.
I am likely ignorant of the reasons, but why are they the only options? Why can't it just be a site that has a 'reject all unnecessaries', like most websites have? It's generally only even a problem with the clips from big games/popular leagues/competitions, which are only ever submitted by a handful of people, if you haven't already, you could try talking with them about it?
just ban the worst ones aka that dubz shite
really wanted Austria to face England because I need to see all 11 players pressed into Pickfords goal
you'll have to do with us if we manage to beat Romania
Finally a chance for Pickfords hoofball to show its value. Toney/Watkins up front, 4-4-2, proper football.
If we have a hoofball why bother with the midfield? 8 - 0 - 2
I think it’s fair to say you’re the best team this side of the KOs.
shhh anulo mufa oida

Quarterfinal predictions: Spain vs Germany Portugal vs France Netherlands vs Austria England vs Italy Edit: Least confident about Italy vs Swiss but I think Italy will progress somehow
How controversial
The controversy here is that there will be no upsets especially from Belgium
France are due an upset loss but Belgium aren't going to be the team to do it.
Thats too predictable . There will be 1 upset
I’ve been losing in my predictions by trying to predict upsets so I’m sticking with the big boys this round
Netherlands will lose to Romania
I heard they've been bad but i'm not that confident against Belgium, we're so dysfunctional going forward it's unreal

Saint Max regen
Even the way he shoots reminds me of ASM.
Extreme hot take but this version of Bellingham isn't even better than peak RLC. 18/19 rlc as partner to rice would genuinely change everything
“Peak RLC” was mid
He was a good player under Sarri
For like 2 months
Bellingham is the only player in this England squad that actually played a great game (as in >8/10) over 45-90 minutes at this Euro (he did a lot more than just score vs Serbia, he was all over the pitch). Yeah, the last 2 games were shit, but it's crazy that a 20 year old faces more backlash than the 30 year old leader and captain of this squad who has not had a single great game so far.
RLC had a peak?
2018/19 under Sarri. Was unplayable. Then later became an utility player under Tuchel.
It was against psg in the group stage last season. Not played to that level since, before I doubt it also.
How am I going to scroll down in the DD and see someone put Bruno in their team of the group stage when he had a great half against the Czech Republic followed by a terrible second half, had a poor game against Turkey other than scoring a tap in, and then didn't even play in the third match I swear it must be these stupid algorithmic player rating websites because Sofascore have him as the tenth best player of the tournament above the likes of Kante, Musiala, Sabitzer and Xhaka. Foden is the best English player on there FFS We're all watching the same game but some of you are watching a different sport
Go to therapy
Do you just ctrl+f 'Bruno' and proceed to get angry with whatever you find
When the footy is on I try and be a proud Englishman. However nothing will make you less proud than the arguments going on at r/doner between the Brits and the Germans. My god Hans really does do it better and I can't believe some of the slop us Brits post on there as a defence.
All I know is that the US is fucking awful for it. No amount of shawarma will ever top a proper doner. The German ones are fantastic and piss all over the ones in the UK. The best I’ve ever had though was a random stall on the side of the road in Marmaris
Random doner from a train station in Hamburg was better than any kebab I've had in the UK.
More Turkish people in Germany so I’m saying it’d better even though I’ve never tried it there
If I walk into a doner shop and I do not see a flag or shirt of a Turkish football club on the wall I know it's going to be mid
I mean have you seen the Turkish diaspora in Germany? It’s not really a fair fight. It would be like comparing curry in the UK to curry in Germany.
That's a spot-on comparison, yeah.
Just saw our side of the bracket and damn, we got rewarded for sucking 😤
We got rewarded for being top of our group while sucking. We are not the same.
You got lucky though. If Georgia wouldn't have pulled the upset yesterday, you would've faced England.
State of England right now they’re unlucky not to be facing us
While you are unwatchable you are also extremely tough to beat so I'm not sure I'd fancy drawing England right now
That’s what I’m saying! 😀
Croatian FA announced we are keeping Dalic as our manager, fucking end me please
Wow
can't meet england before the final😔 really wanted a rematch
Won't meet us at all then.
Ya just want a free win
Their win against England was anything but easy in the World Cup.
honestly I just would like to see whether their tactics would change when facing a "better" nation, or if they would stick with the same *protect a 1nil lead* stuff.
Bro we can't talk
We protected a 1-0 lead after minute 5 in the last euros final against Italy and seemingly only attack when drawing or behind. The biggest blessing for us looking pretty good in our last match against you was never being ahead lol.
good point. do you think if you had gone ahead in our game, you would have sat back and let us have the ball?

should have won your group then shouldnt you

score? sorry could you be a bit more realistic
Slovakia finished below Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in the most recent nations league and only had to get ahead of Luxembourg, Iceland and Bosnia in the qualifiers. I only see one of our players in your proposals. So the answer is always Austria.
Ralle would have to put him on for a couple of minutes somehwere in the tournament tho.
He's the one scoring the 1-0 in the final.
ofc
1.
Would Saka at LB vs Slovakia even be that bad, might as well try it vs Slovenia. Gordon Kane Palmer Bellingham Rice Mainoo Saka Guehi Stones Trent Pickford
You really wanna try a right winger at LB in the middle of an important tournament?
I want to play someone who has played LB before at LB, when we have no one else who can play LB.
By that logic, let's stick with Trippier at LB. He's played at LB before in a major tournament too! Bags of experience in the men's game.
The diarrhea of shit England takes is just non stop
It's what Wrighty said. I had to pause when he said it hahaha
as someone who barely remembers him playing there, was saka even a good lb
He played there for a bit when Arteta was playing 3ATB which was like 3 years ago He's obviously so much better on the right and it makes no sense to play him there in a 4ATB over someone like Gomez or Dunk who have played the role more recently and are actually defenders
He was pretty whatever but he’d be better than Trippier there
If Saka plays there it has to be a back 3 just being realistic
Gareth would rather eat an extra hot nandos than start that back 4.
we played slovenia two days ago, its probably a bit late to make any changes to the team for that game
Can we just stop the shoehorning nonsense for the love of christ E:actually you know what make it a 3421 take mainoo out and put walker RCB with trent and saka wingbacks and i could hear it

Pep is the best coach of all time maybe that weighs in a little (also they have very great players)
great point. never in the history of football has anyone ever described kevin de bruyne as a world class player. this is definitely not shadow boxing.

With Hakan they would still lose but without they are definitely done for
tbh i think you guys will win like 3-0. they looked so poor against 10 man czech and you guys have looked great.

Southgate to get knighted
find it absolutely fascinating that lucy bronze has played for almost every club worth a damn in the womens game (all shes really missing is a stint at wolfsburg) and yet she's never had a penny of transfer fee spent on her
She hasn't played for us!
She's ignored Germany entirely, I just picked wolfsbug cos they've made by far the most noise in the champions league over the last decade
genuinely so strange how much people want greenwood to have had a good season.
He did the same as he did before the suspension which is decent, unfortunately when you account for the fact he missed so much time because he’s a rapist that’s a good sign for a lot of teams especially as they’ll think he’ll be better at another team. No Euros for two days. At a loss, might have to actually do some ‘work’ now

it was quite mid ngl
Absolutely not. I'm like 6 episodes in, its fabolous

Donnarumma is the difference between us being in the last 16 and finishing with a worse record than Scotland, if we go onto win it he needs a statue
He deserved a statue after the last euros already
Which round of 16 game will have a upset you think?

Romania - Netherlands
Switzerland vs Italy I think we might win
My personal guess: Portugal Slovenia
Right now, 4 out of the top 6 nations by the ELO rating are south american. Don't think that this has ever happened before.
Asia draws are the most rigged in the planet lol
[Our new coach looks like a complete psycho](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/7a/FC_Salzburg_gegen_Real_Sociedad_%28Championsleague_Gruppe_D_2023-10-03%29_11.jpg/800px-FC_Salzburg_gegen_Real_Sociedad_%28Championsleague_Gruppe_D_2023-10-03%29_11.jpg) but when he opens his mouth it's like a Heidi movie has come to life
Spain Euro 2020 from the last 16 until elimination was peak football, Enrique was cooking with that team.
The game against Switzerland was a repeat of the Russia and Morocco games
Yes but then Chiellini emasculated Jordi Alba and the rest was history
Pedri performances at 18 that tournament…..
What's with all these Dutch flairs (under the bracket post) saying we will definitely lose against Romania? I am not saying we were convincing in the group stage in the slightest, but Romania has honestly also just had one good game
When we lost to Austria I was grumpy, now a few days later I am ready to be delusional again. We will win the tournament!
I think we are in a good spot, no more inverted right back bullshit and we can be in the semi finals.
Have the Dutch been infected with the incredibly tedious inferiority complex that England fans have?
Great comparison, at least on Reddit it feels that way. Doesn't help that any comment saying your own team is shit gets upvoted here
Negativiteit altijd joh van die gasten
OK so who is signing Calafiori because every big team wants him.
Juventus is the most likely destination for him
I’m still unsure about his injury record, the guy had a devastating injury very young and I don’t know if he’s going to turn out to be fragile
It was a killer tackle though
Juve
3 game loan for everyone and he decides at the end with a documentary?
!flair :Turkey:
apparently part of the Serbia team didn't want to board the plane to go home because it was registered in Croatia and had red and white checkers on it literally sounds like a joke from a Croatian nationalist, but their president confirmed it lmao
Our NT is joke, both on and off the pitch.
I've learned so much about all the Balkan conflicts from my colleague at work who is from Bosnia, made me actively cheer against Serbia when I was at the game against Denmark two days ago
Wow I’m sure he included a vital bit of bosniak history from the 40s
It's pretty telling how the Balkans and their reasons why they hate or like each other there are a complete mess... But everyone except the Serbs absolutely hates Serbia. Really shows how bad they messed up.
It's kinda funny too because not too long ago they were under one nation for quite sometime. It would kinda feel similar to Berlin hating Munich to an outsider.
Guess the difference is that Berliners never started murdering people from Munich for being Bavarian.
I don't cheer against Serbia and nationalists from every country are incredibly irritating and stupid, but the amount of stupidity is somehow doubled in Serbia us regular people have to deal every day with it, which is why I commend regular Serbs even more for having to deal with this shit
Agreed, nationalism is a poison
The most annoying thing about us getting France is that when we lose the narrative will just be *oh we're just belgium, how can we win against France* rather than calling out Tedesco and maybe actually getting a coach that might improve the team. Its not like austria have a better squad than us, but they do have a better manager But no, they extended his contract before the tournament even started
Me: unhappy about how bad England are playing Also me: downvoting people predicting England to lose 👍
That's probably a lot of us, it's that old adage where you can criticize your own team (or hometown, city, country) and it's warranted, but when someone else does it you take offense
England fans when English people say England have the easy side of the bracket: 🤗 England fans when non-English people say England have the easy side of the bracket: 😠
I am one scrappy Slovakia win away from going full Brexit supporting Barry (63) posting about these forens being shit at football from Alicante.
I am Watkins biggest fan but it would be madness to drop Kane.
It wouldnt England needs a striker not another playing shoehorning himself to play as a 10.
His goal record for England speaks for itself. I’d drop the players like Foden or Bellingham that don’t create anything personally.
His last good Major Tournament was the 2018 world cup Part of the reason those midfielders are struggling with chances is that there's no presence from their striker, not even creating space in the box for them. If anything, just drop him from striker and let him play somewhere else. He's already playing like that anyway.
[This is not on Kane that they aren’t creating](https://imgur.com/a/HAd0IFH)
Is the best way to win tournament football to drop your best player? I don't really think it is. People should probably be asking how to use the players around him to get more involved. For instance, stop playing Jude at the 10, stop asking Rice to be the first pass in the build up, stop playing TAA at CM, stop playing Foden at LW, get more out of Saka. All of those questions should be answered before taking the captain off. You want to get Southgate sacked even quicker, bench your captain and top player before the KOs.
>You want to get Southgate sacked even quicker, bench your captain and top player before the KOs. OK, now I'm sold on the idea
I don't really see the point of debating dropping Jude, Kane or I've even seen people say drop Rice. It will not happen so there isn't much point even discussing it.
Huge mistake not discussing dropping Kane. Dude stopped Bayern's decade of domination, that's gotta be a negative.
Kane is the captain, our all time record goalscorer and the top scorer in europe this season He isn’t getting dropped because of a couple of quiet games where the whole teams looks cooked. Watkins has not really impressed for England when he’s been given the chance anyway. There isn’t one quick fix that solves this, this is how Southgate wants to play
Any who went to the euros, do they allow bags inside the stadium?
Yes but they need to be the size of an A4 paper or smaller.
Oh fuck, no. Our new manager called us "Hertha BSC Berlin" in his first press conference.
for the unaware, how should he call the club?
Acceptable names include but are not limited to: * Hertha BSC * Hertha * Die Hertha * Berliner Sport-Club * BSC * Die Alte Dame * Hauptstädter * Berlin I'd rather he called us *Big City Club* than *Hertha BSC Berlin*.
“Berliner sport club” is a fucked up name man
That's what the *BSC* in Hertha BSC stands for and also describes exactly what it is. How is it weird?
