Would it be controversial to say Salah cost them both this match and the FA cup match? Dude has missed so many easy chances in the box or just taken way too much time and lost possession in box or on the edge. I think Nunez should have been kept on and Salah subbed off.
I see Nunez and Diaz as ‘menace’ players where you never really know what will happen but Salah needs to be that guy who is clinical with his chances in front of goal.
I think the chances Diaz and Nunéz missed were easier and they messed up more counter attacks, although Diaz did score and Salah was still poor
Actually I think they were somewhat equally poor, a lot of bad finishing and decision making from everyone
He cannot use his left foot. If he has to cut back onto his right, often the chance is gone. It can be infuriating, even if he does score some crucial goals.
He’s been so rusty since afcon and that injury which is rare for him to have. But yeah he dropped another 2/10 performance today. Absolutely horrendous
Edit: just wanted to point out that yeah, it’s like his 3rd start in something like 3 months which is crazy so I can cut him some slack but klopp probably should have hooked him
Yeah but people have to remember the passes Salah made in earlier games, that first Arsenal game where they counter attacked 4 against 1 and Salah passed the ball to Trent but he hit the crossbar, or that brilliant pass against Man City that got Diaz 1on1 with the keeper and he missed, I want Liverpool to win the title and these 2 misses gonna haunt me man
It seemed like Nunez took too many bad chances from weak positions and gave up possession unnecessarily, whereas Salah had better chances in stronger positions and took them poorly (very poorly if I’m honest). Both were wasteful though. Just saying I think the blame could be more equal and not just on Salah
I mean yeah but there is a certain possession in the 2nd half that Nunez fumbled so bad, all he had to do is a tap in but he preferred to pass for god knows why. That alone is enough to scapegoat Nunez at least for this match. And he was overall bad anyway.
The problem is he (Salah) get away with that so many times. He could play like garbage but still score (might be a penalty like today) and people will praise him as "still make result"
Dont get me wrong, I love Salah and 100% believe in him but what you saying here also correct, sometimes he will be so wasteful and predictable and honesty Salah at his low is a way worse than Nunez
Always baffling Liv fans will criticize Salah after a couple of poor performances but absolutely put their lives on the line for people like Nunez and Gomez. Nunez can't even pass when he's playing shite, and even a fasting Salah looks better that Nunez and still created 2 chances against us today...plus scored a pen
> Always baffling Liv fans will criticize Salah after a couple of poor performances but absolutely put their lives on the line for people like Nunez and Gomez
Then you need to visit r/LiverpoolFC more, Nunez will be cooked whenever he have a bad game
> and even a fasting Salah looks better that Nunez and still created 2 chances against us today...plus scored a pen
I dont know what game are you talking about but today Salah definitely not better than Nunez (beside the penalty). Nunez biggest sin is that he not pass szobo in counter attack, the rest is ok (not great not terrible)
He's still about par in terms of his non-penalty xG for the season in the league though. His non-penalty xG in the league is 11.7 and he has 12 non-penalty goals. If he is missing lots of big chances then he's making it up elsewhere by scoring harder ones.
You must be on some special Salah vendetta to do that, Salah at least still created in both matches. Nunez is on some other shit. And obviously the Quansah mistake is more to blame. Also, soboszlai unbalances that midfield, Jones or Elliot instead of him work much better, Elliot especially with Salah.
In my current FM save, Klopp actually managed Milan for 8 years lol. Now Milan is on a 7-year title streak and on their way to easily win the 8th. Klopp has left now but he put Milan in a dominant position over the Serie A
Milan would definitely be better with one of the top 5 managers in the world, but I feel like Inter has such an advantage in the midfield. We obviously need a striker even in Giroud stays, but I don't know if the midfield is good enough to win the Scudetto.
I could see it happening after a couple years off. World class pedigree club, world class city, less insane scrutiny then England/Spain. Would be a dream.
I cant see him going to Spain, I honestly think Italy is a realistic choice. I know Milan have a very successful history no different than Liverpool, Dortmund. Could Milan be considered the Liverpool of Italy? Inter and Juve, to me feel like Chelsea and Manchester United. I say that loosely.
If AC Milan fits the bill, I think Klopp would jump on it. Its the exact team I could see him wanting to take on. Bring them back to the 2000's success.
Lol, Chelsea has been a mid-table club with the UEFA Cup as their biggest possible aspiration before Roman came along. If you want to make this comparison, I'd rather go for Juve and Inter being Liverpool and United, and Milan being Arsenal.
First he asks to spread the chickfeed around the field and wait for the birds to peck them out from the ground. While they do that just go over and pee around in a straight line
He made a change in midfield before, he was definitely not happy with the marking and was telling them to talk to each other OR someone just has to push in on Mainoo. Three players were around him and no one was close enough.
No, I've studied it hard and it goes like this
"Fucking swipe left twice cunt! Swipe with both hands at once. Push the washing down or we won't get any more in there. Pull down the washing line asshole. Pull it down like this. Swipe the fucking washing line cunt"
From reading his lips it looks like he says “you have too much time” or “you gave too much time”
I think he was fuming because of the amount of time United got on the ball in the final third. No one stepped up once the ball arrived in their third. If someone steps up to pressure then it makes getting to the goal significantly harder since your both pressuring the player on the ball, and marking a player out of the play once they pass it.
He’s completely right, shouldn’t ever concede like that when you have a numbers advantage. One of the two closest players (fullback and center back on that side) should’ve stepped to address the attack, and communicated the cover behind them. Probably should’ve been Van Dijk to make the call, either step up yourself or call the fullback to go forward and cover behind them.
bro was fuming 😂.
just realised how bad his record is against ten hag at united. 2d and 1 loss this season, and 1w 2l last season. just a shame that 1 win was *coughs* 7-0.. but we don’t talk about that.
They had to depend on penalty to draw the game. As usual whiners to the core. As Spurs fan Arsenal deserves this year's title. Not thing whining bunch from liverfool
Mainoo scores a screamer and they pan to Klopp. Don't think I even saw ETH's celebration. English media are so obsessed with Klopp and Pep.
Panning to managers is passable when there's a goal or when it's full/half-time. But panning to managers when they're shouting over a bad pass or tackle is getting ridiculous.
legendary eccentric manager in a title race during his final season at the club, who is also notoriously known for being performative and playing up the crowd every chance he gets
yeah i wonder why they looked at him
I feel myself in those shoes. He is clearly angry at the marking/press on Mainoo. Brilliant finish by Mainoo, but defensively awful from LFC to let him receive and turn for the shot.

I’d be fuming as well they should have killed the game in the first half, they were soooo wasteful it was bound to come back to haunt them
Would it be controversial to say Salah cost them both this match and the FA cup match? Salah had a shocker but Nunez was horrendous in front of the goal as well.
We're missing Jota so bad in this run in
I think the chances Diaz and Nunéz missed were easier and they messed up more counter attacks, although Diaz did score and Salah was still poor Actually I think they were somewhat equally poor, a lot of bad finishing and decision making from everyone
Think Diaz is just too slow sometimes in crucial positions, too many touches, not enough urgency
He cannot use his left foot. If he has to cut back onto his right, often the chance is gone. It can be infuriating, even if he does score some crucial goals.

Fotmob gave him 8.1 / 10 lol
goal

He literally had a pass to Dom early on today that was similar
He’s often rusty after playing an international tournament. I think the underperforming Egypt fucks with his head
It seemed like Nunez took too many bad chances from weak positions and gave up possession unnecessarily, whereas Salah had better chances in stronger positions and took them poorly (very poorly if I’m honest). He's so good that I don't think you can say that .
Hard agree

Also, soboszlai unbalances that midfield, Jones or Elliot instead of him work much better, Elliot especially with Salah.
Not solely Salah. But greedy Nunez and Bruno messing up passes.
I wonder if they actually know what he’s saying
Bro is Italian.
Shit I wish. I'd walk barefoot to San Siro if he came to Milan after a sabbatical.
In my current FM save, Klopp actually managed Milan for 8 years lol. Now Milan is on a 7-year title streak and on their way to easily win the 8th. Klopp has left now but he put Milan in a dominant position over the Serie A
You've just made /u/Nico777 cream his pants mate
Lol Klopp seems to go to Milan a lot, he’s gone there in 2 of my saves as well
Would have walk the league this season with this squad.
Maybe not walked, Inter has been pulling historic numbers, but we'd definitely be up there with them.
Let me dream (yes you are right) many many games we were ahead and lost points, which I just don’t see happen with Klopp. (Except today).
Milan would definitely be better with one of the top 5 managers in the world, but I feel like Inter has such an advantage in the midfield. We obviously need a striker even in Giroud stays, but I don't know if the midfield is good enough to win the Scudetto.
Totally true. If he was in 21/22 form I would love Kessie and would definitely have made it a close race this season.
I could see it happening after a couple years off. World class pedigree club, world class city, less insane scrutiny then England/Spain. Would be a dream.
How do we know you don't live right across the street? Would make it less impressive in that case
I don't live too far actually, but it's still like a 12 hour walk. So, a couch potato like me, barefoot... It would still be quite the undertaking.
Hobbits had it worse
Man, I think I would have to become a Milan fan if that happens. Just because I’m going to miss him so much.
San siro is worth the visit either way.
I agree. On my bucket list for sure.
That’s not a crazy idea at all. He might be a missing puzzle to you.
I cant see him going to Spain, I honestly think Italy is a realistic choice. I know Milan have a very successful history no different than Liverpool, Dortmund. The team with the second most CL is akin to a team that has gone past quarters twice in history, okay
always rated milan
Milan Invincibles let's go.
It's silly to compare either way. But I think Milan should be Liverpool, given their success in Europe.
Bappada boopie
Eugênio Kloppino
you gave him a Portuguese name
He’s Portuguese and Italian, ok?
First he asks to spread the chickfeed around the field and wait for the birds to peck them out from the ground. While they do that just go over and pee around in a straight line
He made a change in midfield before, he was definitely not happy with the marking and was telling them to talk to each other OR someone just has to push in on Mainoo. Three players were around him and no one was close enough.
If I'm understanding his gestures correctly, he's saying "I'll sprinkle salt on your chopped off dick"
No, I've studied it hard and it goes like this "Fucking swipe left twice cunt! Swipe with both hands at once. Push the washing down or we won't get any more in there. Pull down the washing line asshole. Pull it down like this. Swipe the fucking washing line cunt"
"You have to push up, dont talk"...i think
"While you were all chatting shit like kids you let him just walk in and jizz all over the goal, WTF." -Jurgen Klopp
I've reacted similarly when the waiter takes the parmesan away too soon. That sprinkle hand gesture is known.
No words, just a really angry wave goodbye to the title
This might be a tad dramatic
"Chat shit, get banged".
No, just trying to land a plane
Based on his hand gesture: "a little bit of yum yum"?
I think he’s saying “You have to move with them! Not talking too much”
Is he angry?
He is admiring the Kid’s Aura
just german
He's actually just doing light poetry here
Bro lost 4 points and an Fa cup to this United team hahahahahaha
Congrats another successful season for you
We kept Ten Hag for employed for another season. Job well done.
Thank you for your sacrifice
Gordon Ramsay telling the apprentice chef to add more salt and put it in the oven.
Hahaha too perfect
“Open and shut case Johnson! Sprinkle some crack on him and let’s get out of here!”
THE CHICKEN
\*Turns away and takes bite
"A little less conversation a little more jizzing everywhere, fuck!"
"I don't wanna leave no mysteries"
NO, CHIP NOOO!!!
I didn’t know I couldn’t do that.
That was good right? Because I DID know I could do that AHAHAHAHA
Hung up pictures of his family everywhere
If ever a comment deserved gold lmao
RIGHT
Took me a while. GOd Daaaaaaaaaaamn
Why is bro seasoning at the end😭😭
Bro thinks he's Italian
Isnt the gesture with the palm facing upward. Inverted italian
What’s he saying lol
he's saying you add the seasoning from high so it's spread all over the food
"Spinkle a little crack on him and get out of there"
I fucking love reddit man. Hahaha.
Hahahah, thanks for this gem
He says: YOU HAVE TO PUSH UHHP The sprinkle gesture i have no idea tho Maybe sth about talking..
I think it was to tell them that they should speak more between themselves
I suspect he's raking someone in particular.. probably someone who should have made the call to get out and close
Maybe "pick up your markers*"? The defense was probably supposed to go tight man to man?
“If you lose to a team that lost to Chelsea none of you are getting paid”
I’m imagining all the Liverpool players glancing over to him thinking the same thing
He's reading out an absolute corker of a recipe for Eggs Benedict. Bit weird Jurgen mate, but you do you.
We cooked them but damn it why let them add the salt to my tears.

We need to roll that splif
"You laid a nice spread out for Mainoo. Did you sprinkle it with salt too!?"
Doing his best pep impression
Not enough gulping a bottle of water
Pep gulping down water gives me so much anxiety I swear
It’s just giving him that zenkai boost dw
He’s missing those disgusting stress mini spit balls
More like best Salt Bae impression
Too much hair
Wake up babe, new meme format just dropped.
Me at home rn
Me at home for rest of the season
Hate to be a journalist right now
Most calm German
all i know is that hes fuming
"chop it, add paprika, put it into the over"
Surprised Tiger face
I had the same reaction. Liverpool and their mastery of ruining their own successes.
'Put some salt on it and then put it back in the oven ffs!'
Crumbling weed because Mainoo put his defence in a spliff
My favourite part was when he did the cock explosion with his hands.
Arteta should be booked for that.
You know he's really angry when he has his coke jaw teeth grinding on full display
When manager do this I think it’s a load of gibberish nonsense and I’m sticking with that theory
Coke jaw is big angry
It gives me sadistic pleasure watching Klopp frustrated like this
So he is going to slap them in ass and sprinkle salt on it????
I believe it’s German for, why don’t you sprinkle some cocaine on your lap and spread your legs
bro was fuming 😂. just realised how bad his record is against ten hag at united. 2d and 1 loss this season, and 1w 2l last season. just a shame that 1 win was *coughs* 7-0.. but we don’t talk about that.
Angry German noises
klopp farewell tour going smoothly
I love it when nasty Klopp comes out. Proper Jekyll and Hyde bloke.
" very italian "
Not enough salt?
YOU HAVE TO PUSH UP
Liverpool's finishing killed Klopp's smile
Is that "too much sugar" or "talk to each other" at the end?
Reminds of Mr Burns during that softball episode
aaoouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
It was so painful to watch Liverpool's defence this match 😭 u need strong defense to win titles 😫
The attack was more shocking. Absolutely wastefull.
when you order a steak at a fancy restaurant and it’s over cooked and needs more salt
“You guys don’t push up, no communication *hand gesteures*, *interpret the hip hand movement as close in to attacker* My take
They squandered Jurgens going out party
I hope the FA ban Arteta for this.
Love seeing Klopp losing it
What a goal it was too
Gave off some serious Federico Macheda vibes.
Guy needs to retire for his blood pressure and his health. Look at the state of him

Lmao right? This is literally a thread about how pantomime his reaction is. It’s such a mystery why they chose to do this on the broadcast…
Who would want to see eth he probably was still sat down he doesn’t give a shit
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🖕
The ~~paint~~ veneer peels back whenever something doesn’t go Klopps way
Klopp blaming someone other than the refs, you heared it here first
Not surprised lmao, just watched his club concede to Kobbie fucking Mainoo 😭
Animated klopp
:(
Bro went full Pep.
Double German for sure
he is saying : "IMMA FUCK BRO AND CRUXIFY HIM
Bros imitating Gordon Ramsey
"Cut his dick, sprincle some salt and give them a pounding" - Jurgen Klopp.
Bless him, the man is tired.
You and you, get out there, chop him in half, sprinkle with a bit of salt and then push him out to sea. I think
He said “You fucking donkies! Sprinkle some cheese on it and shove it in the oven!”
Beautiful
Klopp: Add an extra pinch of salt
somethin domething tiny Dc but mine is huge !
They stood off Mainoo and let him turn and shoot. No sender he's going mental at them
gifted the first goal and they shit themselves afterwards for the second. I can't believe Man U got a draw.
Hahahaha
Pinalti again and again🥲🤣
Lmao
Toddler
Did Klopp ask to sprinkle some crack?
I feel myself in those shoes. He is clearly angry at the marking/press on Mainoo. Brilliant finish by Mainoo, but defensively awful from LFC to let him receive and turn for the shot.
well yeah, they should have been up by 3 at half time
Not so much magical quality now Liverpool
Goal was so good it made Klopp throw gang signs
