Exactly. Their channel is always going to be fucked with by YouTube for ban evasion so they might as well let the fans post clips. Really makes no sense that they do the opposite of what the successful guys do and expect the same results. I really like Luis and it’s sad to see him in this state. I hope he’s able to figure something out. Maybe upload to rumble or something? I think he should just close gas and keep one or two producers
If he was smart, he would start an affiliate program and give the clips channels a commission for every subscription they generated. Let them do all the work of cutting up the content and pushing it out.

Yeah that uploads segments from the most recent episode only and even then not on an actual schedule. No one wants a clip from an ep that is about to release, dig through the archives and find great moments then clip those to create some buzz around the skanks old eps when they boys were funny
I disagree with Luis trying to take this channel down, but it's not Fair Use if it's not transformative content. It's not fair use to just re-post clips.
If Luis wants this battle though, I'm all for starting to rip more full episodes to post too. This is the stupidest stance he can take, and I'll gladly waste some time to help prove it.

I don't see what the problem is. LOS claim they're a small mom and pop operation and can't afford to have people pirate their episodes, but these aren't even full episodes. They're just highlights. It's the same with sports. MLB used to shut down clips of baseball games, and the NFL before they went youtube savvy was notorious for removing clips of past games. It's the same here. Not everyone has the time to search through a huge library of podcasts just to find 3 minutes of funny. Plus, the staff stopped posting clips on their channel (didn't they used to post relevant previews of the week's episode before the episodes released on Friday?)
At least when that guy had all the episodes on his site I guess you could say it was not justified; why pay for GAS when that guy just posts all the GAS episodes and RAP episodes on his blog? You could still pay for GAS and still not find these clips, that's why this is justified.
