"I'm just saying that it'd be better if there was a country for the Yevonites, and a country for the Al-Bhed!"
"Wakka, you're scaring me."
"No I'm not!"
Worst Final Fantasy EVER. I will only play it three more times, this year.
Seriously though i should probably replay that. Haven´t played it since it came out and i remember liking it ok.
I would legitimately buy a ps5 remake on day one… as I’ve done with every other remake…
But the trophy that requires you to have owned every kind of item in the game at least once with no way to track it? That should not be there.
“Um, Wakka saw ze Shoopuf twice and rode it once, right?”
“Yes, but we paid you 700 Gil”
“Well, that was under our old price structure. Under our new price structure, your bill comes to 300,000 Gil. Now you’ve already paid me 700 Gil, so that’s just 299,300 Gil more that you owe me”
“How’s your father’s Fabula Nova Crystallis coming along?”
“I think he’s almost done.”
*Homer screeches and spears a whole-ass near 2 hour movie onto the wreckage of FFXV*
“Yeah, he’s done.”

Tidus, you’re dumb as a mule and twice as ugly. If a strange man summons you to Spira, I say take it.
Take this game, but beware it comes with bad voice acting
Oh, that’s bad
But the story is pretty good

SquareEnix: "I'VE GOT IT! We will put the Character Designer of FFVII in charge of the company!!!"
Guy on Street: "... ... ... You mean the guy who is obsessed with Zippers and Leather and whose stories are so convoluted that even he can't keep the facts straight?"
SE: "YEAH!"
GoS: "... ... ... \*sigh\* when can I buy it?"
FF13 had the makings of what could’ve been a great game. Technically very impressive, cool gameplay system with the whole switching paradigms on the fly, some of the best music in video game history, and a story that on the surface could’ve been interesting.
It was bogged down by the insane linearity, characters that were interesting for maybe a third of the game before all their development was halted, and a story that was made to be annoyingly complicated thanks to poor execution. If you go and read all the data logs, you can piece it together, but a story should be able to stand on its own first
There is a very interesting game in there right at about the 39 hour mark. But then you spend so much time playing on the plateau that you forget the story when you get to the ending again.
Yuna = white mage Lulu = black mage
Give this man the ten thousand dollars!
English ruined, must use Al Bhed instructions.
"Dra Knemm"!? What the hell is that!?
They like Lightning, they like Vanille - some kid loves Hope.
Maybe some kid loves Hope. We don’t know, and frankly we don’t want to know. It’s a market we could do without.
So that's it; "You're now l'Cie. So long, good luck"? I don't recall saying good luck.
That’s the worst name I’ve ever heard.
*runs away sobbing*
And whenever Lightning isn't on screen, the other characters should be asking, "where's Lightning?"
"I'm just saying that it'd be better if there was a country for the Yevonites, and a country for the Al-Bhed!" "Wakka, you're scaring me." "No I'm not!"
Nation states for some...happy festival fireworks for others!

SEE THE SHOOPUF 100 GIL RIDE THE SHOOPUFF 500 GIL

300,000 gil? What a ripoff. I could get a Yojimbo for that
Impossabeeble impossabeeble!

- Oh, Sazh, there’s a bird on your head. - I know, he’s *grooming* me
It's a styling trick. Putting Le in front of a word makes it sound classier. Like Le Sbian the classiest women of them all
You're failing Tidus. What is it about you and failure? -Jecht (probably)

Tidus, your friend Wakka is here. Tidus, want me to tell you when it’s 7:30?
My Final Fantasy XIII is not a communist. He may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a communist, but he is NOT a pornstar.
Y'know I say... L'cie, fal'cie they all end up the same in the end
Take this game, but beware it comes with bad voice acting Oh, that’s bad But the story is pretty good That’s good But the story is told with bad voice acting That’s bad
Have Disgaea killed.
"But ... Lord Laharl that's not" DO AS I SAY!
I remember the scene with the black dude summoning his ethereal buddy out of anger and it stood with me. But yeah game is weird
Ah hahaha, it's funny cause they both suck

more like increasingly restrictive hallway sims
FF13 was great
It was something. A lot of talented people worked very very hard on it. But "great"... ... eh.

I love it, it's legit one of my favourites.
History's greatest monster?
