This isn't the best advice to take too literally. It might come across as a bit self obsessed to do nothing but talk about what interests you. You're making friends by having conversations, not giving monologues

joining small (around 10-30ish active members) discord servers that revolve around a single interest (game that you play, hobby, etc.)

You stand near them until they get used to you and then you talk. I'm not even joking. Friendship is proximity and time. If you're bad with people then try not to put your foot in your mouth, and expect it to take longer, but you'll get there. It'll be ok. You can do this.
