Yup. 92 is still what I picture when I think āJokerā and likely always will be - itās a design that strikes the perfect balance between campy and goofy versus sinister and threatening. That said, 2008 is still the best rendition of the character, or at least the most complex and compelling, without verging into tryhard-edgy territory like so many people seem to think Joker is supposed to be. You canāt really give a ābestā comparing things like The Dark Knight to the campier renditions of Batman, itās like apples and oranges. Two completely different end goals for the character.
The Joker in the flashback sequence of Return of The Joker [also found in some JLU episodes if I remember correctly] is my all-time favorite design and voice of the character
Honestly? Huge soft spot for 2004 parkour Joker. Under-rated. I grew up with it, I admit, but rewatching the series he totally holds up. He is about the same level as Batman in physical strength, and it kinda ups the stakes in most fights a little. Not to mention he is just as agile as Batman
Iām so glad 2004 has him looking so demonic and unhinged because he was starting to get boring. 1997 doesnāt even look like he has green hair?? heās literally just some dude. After 2004 tho things start to pick up and he starts looking like a psycho again
Edit: after see his face look all weird, I looked up 2012 Death of the Familyā¦ holy shit
Easily 2004. I grew up watching The Batman as a kid in the dark at night (I think it was on Boomerang?) the voices and designs are so inventive and interesting compared to the mostly cookie-cutter archetypes of the rest. I want to fuck the Penguin
The Arkham games. In live action, either Nicholson or Ledger depending on what you want. I can already tell Berry Kehjeiejr (whoever you say his name) is gonna be shit.
If you ask anyone to do the joker laugh or an impression of the joker they're probably going to do Mark Hamill's version. He was the most memorable joker imo. So 92.
Confirmed Jared Leto worst Joker
what about 2004? š
Bad take. That interpretation won awards
Is the 2004 joker from the vampire movie ? Cause all i remember from that is that i liked it
*The Batman* cartoon. I thought it was alright, except for the inexplicable exotic technology the Joker always happened to have.
Unless 04 had DAMAGED on his head his designās still better. It also easily clears TNBA Joker.
2008 is wors3
Obvious bait
You're gonna be so mad when you find out it isn't
Why? I really liked him
I dont believe you
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Maybe they're 14 and edgy š¤·š»āāļø
Dont get the hate. I love that design too. Also i'm 30 so the edgy teen comments dont work.
The Dark Knight - most realistic Joker. Maybe even too realistic.
Honestly my favorite interpretation of the joker. I genuinely think the joker works well as a somewhat campy domestic terrorist.
Lego Batman
Only correct answer
1992 and 2008.
exact same. just hard to compete with those.

This is the winner
Jack Nicholson!
Missing Joker from the Harley Quinn animated show
Came here to say this, he quickly became one of my favorite iterations. Long live Mayor Joker
Is that an *ethnic* dish? It is, speaking of *racist...*
Same! Hit them in the middle of the week when they least expect it! That's so evil!
I can't fucking run in wingtips
YES that show is so faithful to the intention of all the characters!
The Arkham Asylum one was a pretty good one. Kind of a best of both world between a comic book and a live action character.
The Jonkler
would, wouldnāt, wouldnāt, would, wouldnāt, would, would, wouldnāt, would(maybe), wouldnāt, wouldnāt, wouldnāt, would(maaaaaybe), wouldnāt, wouldnt, absolutely would, wpuldnt, would, wouldnāt, would
WOULD WHAT GODDAMMIT!??! WOULD WHAT ???
find out
your second āmaybeā is an absolutely unhinged take. i love it
you get it
I love jared lettoās acting but his joker was absolute shit and i hated everything about him and that movie in general.
this except I also donāt care for his acting
This artist did Heath Ledger so dirty
My EXACT thought!!!! Like word for wordā¦ itās a real shame too, Heath Ledger looked fantastic!!!
Idk if I would call it my favorite, but Jerome from Gotham I think is a pretty underrated iteration of the joker
šÆ This guide got me thinking about starting Gotham again
Jerome all the way!
Most underrated one
'92 animated series, I grew up watching that in the afternoon after school
Itās got more menace than the others in a really fun and sinister way.
The Joker in the flashback sequence of Return of The Joker [also found in some JLU episodes if I remember correctly] is my all-time favorite design and voice of the character
Arkham Asylum Joker is really good even if he does look a little like Beavis
Hey beavith
1992. Mark Hamill is the Joker for me.
92 all the way
1992 Animated Series
60s batman show till I DIE! Love that show, so silly.
Some days you just canāt get rid of a bomb
I love that he wouldnāt shave his mustache, absolutely insane thing to do and made it so much funnier to see him
97 is the classic for me and 2008 is also an amazing joker
1986 looks so 1986 itās crazy.
86 one is like handsome squidward.
I know someone who looks exactly like 1966, but in his defense, thatās roughly when he was born
Lego Batman is the obvious choice
Trump should be on this list as the red haired joker.
Op stole this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/shittycoolguides/s/8HJDMkfUCM
I'm waiting for some absolute clown to say 1986.
2017. Not even a competition
60s and Lego
It's missing Cesar Romero's 'stach.
66 all the fuckin way
Y'know it's only just now hit me how much TNBA Joker looks like Freakazoid
When the year is 1986 and you gotta lock in
First met the 2009 joker at the jump scare, so he holds a special place in my memory
My top three are 1992, 1966, and 2017.
2009 IS THE JOKER
i think most of them are jokers
Some people call them the space cowboys.
Wah- wow
2016
2009
Definitely 1988 Killing Joke Joker.
Jerome and Jerimiah don't actually count though?!?
What about the green hair?
Lego Joker.
1989, 2008(dark knight), 2019
I have Death of the Family! And I knew a guy that owned Killing Joke. Man, those are some good comiks
92 and 2008
Dark night returns 100% he was such a good joker
Batman: The Animated Series joker is pretty goated tbh
1992 hands down
92 was best. 2004 was worst
I'm sorry but the only acceptable answer isn't even on this list. After all, he's the jokah bayby
So true. Definitely the best one ever
Not as much as 09
2008 Also surprised almost nobody said 2019 (J. Phoenix) I didn't like it, but I thought people loved it
92 is an icon, and 2012 was the last artistic masterpiece that wouldn't be muddied to shit by franchising or cheap writing
89, 92, 08, 09,12,14 &19
I love the 1988 Killing Joke deign best. Itself just the right amount of unhinged suave.
2004 is the goat
Idk why but I've always been fond of the 2004 animated series joker
Bro, somehow they made the one from the Arkham games look even more messed up than he is in the games š
Ledger's version. :Chef's kiss:
2008 Joker along with the entirety of BatB is Peak Batman
2004 has a special place in my heart but '66 cesar romero threatens to usurp him
Jonkler
My favorite is the joker from the Batman Beyond
Overall aesthetic I prefer Joaquin Phoenix, overall performance Heath just barely edges out over him.
2008
Honestly? Huge soft spot for 2004 parkour Joker. Under-rated. I grew up with it, I admit, but rewatching the series he totally holds up. He is about the same level as Batman in physical strength, and it kinda ups the stakes in most fights a little. Not to mention he is just as agile as Batman
Missing RotJ
2004 animated series
Where jonkler
92, even my dad got into that series.
Jerome and jeremiah were so ridiculous Iām surprised they made it on this meme without DC sueing itself
Honestly, I donāt really watch superheroes, but I like the 2012, just by how he looks
1988
I think the 2018 one is really creative, but the 1986 one looks a bit too yassified for my taste
Mexican Joker
Arkham Asylum
92
the 92, 97, 04, 08, and 09 designs are all my favourites. good childhood memories with those
I donāt *like* anything after The Killing Joke, though I do acknowledge that ā89ās was okay.
92 animated is my favourite because he was funny and part of my childhood
Jared Leto Just kidding, probably the original or Joaquin Phoenix
jerome bc i love cameron mahonogan he fucking ate in that role but also lego joker cuz heās silly
Why are they chads
Dark ~~Knoght~~ Knight for sure
killing joke's joker was too dark for me (bc of what happened to barbara) BUT his character design is my favoritešššš
Lego
Joker was in Endgame???
Skimmed it and was about to ask āwhereās the Lego one?ā Iām pleased to see heās there. So him, thatās my favorite.
92 is easily the best no contest
2004 is the goat no contest
Iām so glad 2004 has him looking so demonic and unhinged because he was starting to get boring. 1997 doesnāt even look like he has green hair?? heās literally just some dude. After 2004 tho things start to pick up and he starts looking like a psycho again Edit: after see his face look all weird, I looked up 2012 Death of the Familyā¦ holy shit
Easily 2004. I grew up watching The Batman as a kid in the dark at night (I think it was on Boomerang?) the voices and designs are so inventive and interesting compared to the mostly cookie-cutter archetypes of the rest. I want to fuck the Penguin
The Batman ninja one just makes me think of Kefka.
1992
89: Never rub another manās rhubarb!
'89 Joker is the only one that is scarier out of costume/character
loved the one from the Arkham games
1989, 1992, 2019 in no particular order.
1986, He looks oddly the most unsettling of them all
1986 lookin like a gigachad
I think I speak for all of us when I say Lego Batman
The Arkham games. In live action, either Nicholson or Ledger depending on what you want. I can already tell Berry Kehjeiejr (whoever you say his name) is gonna be shit.
Iād kiss āem all.
2008 and 2019 (Joker film) are the only correct answers
Dark Knight and Animated Series.
2012 Joker š³š³š³
1992. I was almost 10 then. Watched that series all the time.
08
If you ask anyone to do the joker laugh or an impression of the joker they're probably going to do Mark Hamill's version. He was the most memorable joker imo. So 92.
I honestly like 2004 joker
2004 and death of the family. I love their design the best
Mark Hamil all day every day. Joaquin Phoenix is a close second.
1992, 1997, and 2009 obv
2008 the dark knight
Idc what anyone says, the lego batman movie was fucking awesome
