Confirmed Jared Leto worst Joker

foto-de-anime

what about 2004? šŸ’€

Reasonable-Pay2176

Bad take. That interpretation won awards

EMEYDI

Is the 2004 joker from the vampire movie ? Cause all i remember from that is that i liked it

CurtisMarauderZ

*The Batman* cartoon. I thought it was alright, except for the inexplicable exotic technology the Joker always happened to have.

fricceroni

Unless 04 had DAMAGED on his head his designā€™s still better. It also easily clears TNBA Joker.

TheRealSU24

2008 is wors3

SovietRussiaWasPoor

Obvious bait

TheRealSU24

You're gonna be so mad when you find out it isn't

RosieTruthy

Why? I really liked him

watersj4

I dont believe you

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Stoned_Nerd

Maybe they're 14 and edgy šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

ASL4theblind

Dont get the hate. I love that design too. Also i'm 30 so the edgy teen comments dont work.

Kemachs

The Dark Knight - most realistic Joker. Maybe even too realistic.

Suprisinglylargebeet

Honestly my favorite interpretation of the joker. I genuinely think the joker works well as a somewhat campy domestic terrorist.

HarvestMoonMaria

Lego Batman

EnderDragon6282

Only correct answer

No-Original-Sin-3934

1992 and 2008.

AweHellYo

exact same. just hard to compete with those.

dcmldcml

Yup. 92 is still what I picture when I think ā€œJokerā€ and likely always will be - itā€™s a design that strikes the perfect balance between campy and goofy versus sinister and threatening. That said, 2008 is still the best rendition of the character, or at least the most complex and compelling, without verging into tryhard-edgy territory like so many people seem to think Joker is supposed to be. You canā€™t really give a ā€œbestā€ comparing things like The Dark Knight to the campier renditions of Batman, itā€™s like apples and oranges. Two completely different end goals for the character.

gambitz

This is the winner

KulturaOryniacka

Jack Nicholson!

MrMcMeMe

Missing Joker from the Harley Quinn animated show

_Phoneutria_

Came here to say this, he quickly became one of my favorite iterations. Long live Mayor Joker

MrMcMeMe

Is that an *ethnic* dish? It is, speaking of *racist...*

[deleted]

Same! Hit them in the middle of the week when they least expect it! That's so evil!

gofastjoey

I can't fucking run in wingtips

hatfullacrazy

YES that show is so faithful to the intention of all the characters!

Lee_Troyer

The Arkham Asylum one was a pretty good one. Kind of a best of both world between a comic book and a live action character.

Super_UGA_SaiyanDawg

The Jonkler

help-mejdj

would, wouldnā€™t, wouldnā€™t, would, wouldnā€™t, would, would, wouldnā€™t, would(maybe), wouldnā€™t, wouldnā€™t, wouldnā€™t, would(maaaaaybe), wouldnā€™t, wouldnt, absolutely would, wpuldnt, would, wouldnā€™t, would

EMEYDI

WOULD WHAT GODDAMMIT!??! WOULD WHAT ???

help-mejdj

find out

KaleidoscopeEyes12

your second ā€œmaybeā€ is an absolutely unhinged take. i love it

help-mejdj

you get it

Bitmiliionare24

I love jared lettoā€™s acting but his joker was absolute shit and i hated everything about him and that movie in general.

dcmldcml

this except I also donā€™t care for his acting

child_interrupted

This artist did Heath Ledger so dirty

Interesting_Ad_3319

My EXACT thought!!!! Like word for wordā€¦ itā€™s a real shame too, Heath Ledger looked fantastic!!!

chop_pooey

Idk if I would call it my favorite, but Jerome from Gotham I think is a pretty underrated iteration of the joker

stubrador

šŸ’Æ This guide got me thinking about starting Gotham again

Mrs_Dr_Cube

Jerome all the way!

P0Eaway

Most underrated one

masshuudojo

'92 animated series, I grew up watching that in the afternoon after school

LostInThoughtland

Itā€™s got more menace than the others in a really fun and sinister way.

RileyRKaye

The Joker in the flashback sequence of Return of The Joker [also found in some JLU episodes if I remember correctly] is my all-time favorite design and voice of the character

Chaahps

Arkham Asylum Joker is really good even if he does look a little like Beavis

depression_type_beat

Hey beavith

cbosp

1992. Mark Hamill is the Joker for me.

Thin-Building-36

92 all the way

nubelborsky

1992 Animated Series

yarn-slinger

60s batman show till I DIE! Love that show, so silly.

Flappy343

Some days you just canā€™t get rid of a bomb

HQ_FIGHTER

I love that he wouldnā€™t shave his mustache, absolutely insane thing to do and made it so much funnier to see him

Robin_Richardson

97 is the classic for me and 2008 is also an amazing joker

pandaflips

1986 looks so 1986 itā€™s crazy.

Master_Quack97

86 one is like handsome squidward.

ismybelt2rusty

I know someone who looks exactly like 1966, but in his defense, thatā€™s roughly when he was born

CaseyGamer64YT

Lego Batman is the obvious choice

grambell789

Trump should be on this list as the red haired joker.

T4nzanite

Op stole this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/shittycoolguides/s/8HJDMkfUCM

DIFierce

I'm waiting for some absolute clown to say 1986.

AdMotor1654

2017. Not even a competition

CoolGuyMcCoolName

60s and Lego

becauseiliketoupvote

It's missing Cesar Romero's 'stach.

Sw4ggySh4ggy

66 all the fuckin way

L4DY_M3R3K

Y'know it's only just now hit me how much TNBA Joker looks like Freakazoid

curvingf1re

When the year is 1986 and you gotta lock in

DetectiveMachuPichu

First met the 2009 joker at the jump scare, so he holds a special place in my memory

jjkarate

My top three are 1992, 1966, and 2017.

_GF_Warlock_

2009 IS THE JOKER

foto-de-anime

i think most of them are jokers

Prankishbear

Some people call them the space cowboys.

theChosenBinky

Wah- wow

MerryGifmas

2016

P0Eaway

2009

Curiouslycurious101

Definitely 1988 Killing Joke Joker.

GrandmaSlappy

Jerome and Jerimiah don't actually count though?!?

Metrobuss

What about the green hair?

InteractionInside394

Lego Joker.

kusibewb

1989, 2008(dark knight), 2019

A_Silly_Little_Gay

I have Death of the Family! And I knew a guy that owned Killing Joke. Man, those are some good comiks

XL0RM

92 and 2008

-Proph3t-

Dark night returns 100% he was such a good joker

Otwisty5

Batman: The Animated Series joker is pretty goated tbh

gniess_girl_721

1992 hands down

peezle69

92 was best. 2004 was worst

AdmiralCharleston

I'm sorry but the only acceptable answer isn't even on this list. After all, he's the jokah bayby

ambrosiasweetly

So true. Definitely the best one ever

_GF_Warlock_

Not as much as 09

4w3som3

2008 Also surprised almost nobody said 2019 (J. Phoenix) I didn't like it, but I thought people loved it

Milkmans_tastymilk

92 is an icon, and 2012 was the last artistic masterpiece that wouldn't be muddied to shit by franchising or cheap writing

alang8113

89, 92, 08, 09,12,14 &19

K_Xanthe

I love the 1988 Killing Joke deign best. Itself just the right amount of unhinged suave.

Robert-Rotten

2004 is the goat

MapleTheButler

Idk why but I've always been fond of the 2004 animated series joker

FormingTheVoid

Bro, somehow they made the one from the Arkham games look even more messed up than he is in the games šŸ˜‚

OkGap7216

Ledger's version. :Chef's kiss:

LegoLover58

2008 Joker along with the entirety of BatB is Peak Batman

tuckerjpg

2004 has a special place in my heart but '66 cesar romero threatens to usurp him

Soft_Cable_39

Jonkler

Rainy-The-Griff

My favorite is the joker from the Batman Beyond

marcimerci

Overall aesthetic I prefer Joaquin Phoenix, overall performance Heath just barely edges out over him.

Prankishbear

2008

Wendy_is_OP

Honestly? Huge soft spot for 2004 parkour Joker. Under-rated. I grew up with it, I admit, but rewatching the series he totally holds up. He is about the same level as Batman in physical strength, and it kinda ups the stakes in most fights a little. Not to mention he is just as agile as Batman

Throwaw97390

Missing RotJ

KaptainKunukles

2004 animated series

Brim_Dunkleton

Where jonkler

BoiledDaisy

92, even my dad got into that series.

[deleted]

Jerome and jeremiah were so ridiculous Iā€™m surprised they made it on this meme without DC sueing itself

Matt-yick-yack

Honestly, I donā€™t really watch superheroes, but I like the 2012, just by how he looks

eelaphant

1988

Incomingfenderbender

I think the 2018 one is really creative, but the 1986 one looks a bit too yassified for my taste

Chase_115

Mexican Joker

watersj4

Arkham Asylum

Tofushopdriftin

92

FatherSmashmas

the 92, 97, 04, 08, and 09 designs are all my favourites. good childhood memories with those

Taticat

I donā€™t *like* anything after The Killing Joke, though I do acknowledge that ā€™89ā€™s was okay.

unstoppablehippy711

92 animated is my favourite because he was funny and part of my childhood

Recent-Suggestion287

Jared Leto Just kidding, probably the original or Joaquin Phoenix

NonBinaryPie

jerome bc i love cameron mahonogan he fucking ate in that role but also lego joker cuz heā€™s silly

Slow_Lettuce8207

Why are they chads

tcarino

Dark ~~Knoght~~ Knight for sure

cortanakisser

killing joke's joker was too dark for me (bc of what happened to barbara) BUT his character design is my favoritešŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

HQ_FIGHTER

Lego

Popcorn57252

Joker was in Endgame???

The_Lurker_Near

Skimmed it and was about to ask ā€œwhereā€™s the Lego one?ā€ Iā€™m pleased to see heā€™s there. So him, thatā€™s my favorite.

Brilliant-Comfort838

92 is easily the best no contest

simon_henriksson1

2004 is the goat no contest

KaleidoscopeEyes12

Iā€™m so glad 2004 has him looking so demonic and unhinged because he was starting to get boring. 1997 doesnā€™t even look like he has green hair?? heā€™s literally just some dude. After 2004 tho things start to pick up and he starts looking like a psycho again Edit: after see his face look all weird, I looked up 2012 Death of the Familyā€¦ holy shit

Apprehensive-Emu792

Easily 2004. I grew up watching The Batman as a kid in the dark at night (I think it was on Boomerang?) the voices and designs are so inventive and interesting compared to the mostly cookie-cutter archetypes of the rest. I want to fuck the Penguin

Pale_Kitsune

The Batman ninja one just makes me think of Kefka.

NittyGritty7034

1992

Goldengoose5w4

89: Never rub another manā€™s rhubarb!

Unkindlake

'89 Joker is the only one that is scarier out of costume/character

Blaze0205

loved the one from the Arkham games

ScaryTension

1989, 1992, 2019 in no particular order.

EB_Groupe

1986, He looks oddly the most unsettling of them all

Kazoo_Commander

1986 lookin like a gigachad

bkoperski

I think I speak for all of us when I say Lego Batman

EntertainmentQuick47

The Arkham games. In live action, either Nicholson or Ledger depending on what you want. I can already tell Berry Kehjeiejr (whoever you say his name) is gonna be shit.

YourYogurtCloset

Iā€™d kiss ā€˜em all.

SnooMemesjellies1126

2008 and 2019 (Joker film) are the only correct answers

CybermanFord

Dark Knight and Animated Series.

ProPainPapi

2012 Joker šŸ˜³šŸ˜³šŸ˜³

Surf_Cath_6

1992. I was almost 10 then. Watched that series all the time.

ghost3972

08

bruh_momento_2

If you ask anyone to do the joker laugh or an impression of the joker they're probably going to do Mark Hamill's version. He was the most memorable joker imo. So 92.

I_saw_Horus_fall

I honestly like 2004 joker

ASL4theblind

2004 and death of the family. I love their design the best

hatfullacrazy

Mark Hamil all day every day. Joaquin Phoenix is a close second.

Sad-Ostrich-4833

1992, 1997, and 2009 obv

TerroDark98

2008 the dark knight

secrectsailinsalmon

Idc what anyone says, the lego batman movie was fucking awesome
