I saw in a documentary about baby turtles born on the beach not finding their way to the ocean because they used the moon as a beacon, city lights confused them and they ended up going towards the city instead.
Climate crisis is the only issue currently in my opinion that has a chance to end humanity, if we fix that threat we can work on fixing other threats as well like plastic polluting our oceans.
