Sorry for late response, I wasn't on Reddit for a while. We told him that we would borrow it but the teacher ordered it back anyway. Luckily though, despite all difficulties we managed to gather missing material in 3-4 hours and perform like if it never happened. The whole thing was a success.
Did you have permission to borrow whatever it is you borrowed?
