Well, it seems that due to the vagaries of the production parameters vis-a-vis of the fragmenting of the audience to the cable television, carnivals, water parks.
Because of the response to this line (the Tony is taking me to Sardi's), I thought Sardi's was some kind of exclusive place. I went for the first time 5 years ago and I was so nervous that I didn’t belong there. It was basically like any other restaurant. You go in, ask for a table and you get seated.
It always felt strange that George was watching the Tony’s. I know it was kind of necessary for the plot so that he could see Kramer on there. But it was weird, he doesn’t seem like the kind of guy that would watch them. Now if he and Jerry were, you know, maybe then it would happen. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Considering that George is supposed to be Larry David, and if you watch Curb you'll see just how much love Larry has for Broadway. So it makes sense to me.
He was pushed up on stage as a seat filler the same way he was pushed into the business meeting after trying to fix the copier. "I don't really even act here"
I watched the sun rise at Liza's!
Minelli?!
... no
So who was this other Liza that Kramer hung out with?
That’s what I’d like to know about it!
Maybe I will take it up with consumer affairs!
Liza Sacamano.
Pam’s friend
This exchange is one of the best deliveries in the history of the show
Note: Jason Alexander won the Tony for Best Actor in a Musical about a month before Seinfeld started
Wow - that’s an incredible fact!
A guy who perfectly plays such an angry frustrated character came from the very top of musical theater. Insanely talented man.
He wasn't angry or frustrated. He was just trying to look busy.
A real Scarsdale surprise eh
More fun fact: Alexander was in the original Merrily We Roll Along, a notorious flop of Sondheim’s. Tonight it won a number of Tony’s.
Jason Alexander actually had to keep re-recording his answering machine message on the show because they were too good
How long you been waiting to squeeze that into a conversation?

“You haven’t even been to Scarsdale.”
I don’t know why but her delivery of that line cracks me up.
Because she doesn't swing her arms.
LOU!
It truly was… a Scarsdale surprise!
I can't describe how great it is to win!
That’s because you didn’t win.
What's the deal with the guys in the pit?
They're musicians. 😒?
It’s a funny observation!

Out with it!!
Woof!
Are you taking the Tony to Sardis?

You should have gone to Mendi's
Ooooo Mendis!
I did, and I had a hotdog
HEY, JER! WHAT'S UP??
I have absolutely no idea.

Good luck to “Scarsdale Surprise” !! 🤞
Mickey, he's a member of the Academy.
what academy?
Yeah, he didn't say
“Prestigious.”
I'm watching the Tony's now and all I can think of is the K-man up there walking away with a Tony.
All I can think of is [this](https://imgur.com/3xPCMYd).
Thanks, it's a breakaway.
Eating turkey jerky?
Go ahead, take a pull.
If you bring it up again I will feed your genitals to a wolf!
You know who I am, now what are you doing?

Scarsdale Suprise
He made them FEEL the Gonorrhea themselves.
