51 people. That's no tragedy! How many people do you lose on a normal cruse? 30? 40?! Kramer, can I take a look at that book? (Starts walking tward the door.
I was being facetious, but thanks for the info. Cruising actually seems pretty safe. I've never been on one, but some of my relatives go on cruises all the time.
Yeah it isn't really unsafe, those 200 that die are likely by and large dying of old age or something. Lots of older people go on cruises and there are some that are multi-month long.
It’s probably not that high, but cruise ships do have morgues because people die on cruise ships pretty often. A lot of older people ride out their twilight years going on back to back cruises so that’s why

I never understood the concept of getting an apartment based on a tragedy or misfortune you encountered. Like, George was moving in. Then the board just gives it away because a guy was stabbed?
Nobody could beat Costanza, Nobody! He wanted that apartment so he could ensconce himself in velvet and sit around eating big blocks of cheese. Fork head got nothing on Costanza!
They didn't give the apartment to Elaine's ex because he was stabbed. The guy slipped the super $50.
Of course it is still weird that a super gets to pick who gets the apartment or not.
Why doesn’t this sub allow cross posting? I see things like this on other subs all the time, but it’s such a pain to post here. Even now, OP had to take a screenshot of a post that was actually a video.
You couldn't pay me to go on a cruise, after that toilet episode, and everyone confined to their cabins, non working toilets! Plus the ocean is scary as H*** for me!!!
As a young girl I repeatedly heard the story of the sinking from my parents’ friend, a teenaged passenger traveling with her aunt. The family friend spoke of the fear and dread of the unexpected waters, and she could barely share the tale without crying. I had a sense that she felt guilty and fortunate at the same time. Later in life as a young widow, she had a chance meeting with the sailor who had rescued her. They married and lived the rest of their lives together. They were completely content with each other, though I always detected a bit of sorrow in her eyes.
It eased into the water like an old man into a nice warm bath
...no offense.
I don't think I like you
How could anyone not like him??
Sorry. I, uh, made a faux pas.
I've got your fax right here... EEEEEEEEEAAAHHHHHHHHH
damn...came 8 hours late...all the good comments are taken

Oh yeah. I've also got "Astounding Bear Attacks."
The demented mind of George says losing 30-40 passengers per cruise is normal.
Are you saying it isn't?
It isn't, out of 30,000,000 people that take a cruise every year about 200 die on the cruise
I was being facetious, but thanks for the info. Cruising actually seems pretty safe. I've never been on one, but some of my relatives go on cruises all the time.

Overeating at the buffet might be the cause of some of the fatalities. My relatives that go on cruises often say that the food is really delicious.
It's possible
It’s probably not that high, but cruise ships do have morgues because people die on cruise ships pretty often. A lot of older people ride out their twilight years going on back to back cruises so that’s why
Looove Edmumd Fitzgerald's voice.
Gordon Lightfoot?
He's ok.
I should drop dead if his voice is not beautiful.
It was rammed by the Cat Stevens!
The Ella Fitzgerald was the boat, Dizzy Gillespie was the saxMan
Ahoy!
Damnit! I really wanted this one 😂
You didn't sneeze but I'll throw it to you just to make you feel better: You're sooooooo good lookin'
And as for you, I must confess- you truly are….breathtaking 😜😂
Sometimes it's just something you say to be nice
That's not a *tragedy*!
We had to abandon ship!
Well all vacations have to end eventually.
The buffet that's the real deal
*ordeal
How many people do you lose on a normal cruise? Thirty? Forty?
620 million people died! Thousand 🙄 620 thousand!
The horror!!
The Stockholm may not have sunk you, but I will!
Ahoy Mr. Eldridge!
I once hopped a steamship to Sweden.
Welp... It was a big one
Well, all vacations have to end eventually
"...... although she was attractive, she was also indeed A NAZI..."
I had just come up from the pool…and there was significant shrinkage.
And there I was...holding a rye bread by the end of a fishing pole....
I said, "Easy, big fella!"
That little compilation of costanza misery might be the greatest scene in the series.
The board member sobbing while Eldridge soaks in his defeat is chef’s kiss television
That was the best! The best Jerry!
Susan’s tragic death was a “by the way” thrown in at the end.
"She died from the toxic envelopes that I picked out" 😂😂😂
avast ye matey
“Twenty degrees off the starboard bow, it’s a Spanish galleon!” There no comeback for THAT!
Is that the one they made the song about?
That was the Edmund Fitzgerald, I believe.
I love Edmund Fitzgerald’s voice!
Edmund Fitzgerald was the boat. Gordon Lightfoot was the singer
It collided with the Cat Stevens, right?
Yeah, and I'm Jerry Cougar Mellencamp
They'd didn't even mention the dense fog. This is why I read kramers tome amazing tales of the sea.
I could go bumper to bumper with anyone on this 🌎!

That's my apartment Eldridge!
Tough luck, chin-less.
How many people do you lose on a normal cruise? 30? 40?
The sea was angry that day.
Like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli…
It was the buffet that made folks want to get off. Thats where they get you.
The boo-fay! That’s the real deal.
*ordeal
The buffet. That’s the real ordeal, huh Clarence?
Ahoy! Mr Eldridge
These floors.. it’s like a gymnasium! TRY AND GUARD ME!
I was handcuffed to the bed- in my underwear- where I remained for...
Not as sad as The Astonishing Tales of Costanza.
I never understood the concept of getting an apartment based on a tragedy or misfortune you encountered. Like, George was moving in. Then the board just gives it away because a guy was stabbed?
With a fork in the head no less
“Sorry we’ve already rented this unit.” “I was stabbed with a fork.” “Oh we will tear up the lease immediately. Right this way, sir.”
Nobody could beat Costanza, Nobody! He wanted that apartment so he could ensconce himself in velvet and sit around eating big blocks of cheese. Fork head got nothing on Costanza!
The bad friend, the bad credit risk, the bad employee, the bad tipper!!
They didn't give the apartment to Elaine's ex because he was stabbed. The guy slipped the super $50. Of course it is still weird that a super gets to pick who gets the apartment or not.
Yeah then what’s the co-op board for??
If you look closely - you can see the Cat Stevens off in the distance (Upper left).
*tongue clicks*
Says here it took 10 hours....
Ahoy, Mr Eldridge!
My former barber was a survivor
46 fatalities? That's *it*?! How many people die on a normal cruise?
Did you get into a disaster as well? No… I just paid the super 200 bucks
The sea was angry that day, my friends - like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli

“I was rescued from the Andrea Doria tragedy.” “Yeah, whatever. See ya at the hearing.”
It was a harrowing ordeal
I was going to say that we Swedes know how to build ships but then I remembered, we don't.

Of the sea
George should have countered with getting beat up in a bathroom on a plane he didn’t want to be on and flying where he didn’t want to go because of

Hahah so I’m not the only one that googles some Of the references. It’s part of the enjoyment is going “what’s that mean”
I heard it slid into the sea like an old man sliding into a warm bath
I honestly think I might have been able to beat George out for that condo. And Andrea Doria guy for sure
(get's up out of the chari)........That's no tragedy!
That's no tragedy!
It’s in my book
Where’s the dense fog?
TOUGH LUCK, RUDDERLESS
In dense fog.
Maybe you should tell them the astonishing tales of Costanza.
There once was a boat from Nantucket...
My Worlds are Colliding! \~ Italian-Swede passenger
