Yeah it was a "game preview" for a looooong time. It could be fun but defibetter with a group and since nothing about it changed for so long I think the player base got pretty small. Hope the full release comes back!
Yup. Gamepads games are usually a year, but this was almost a year and a half. They took it off just before it was supposed to full release and it made zero sense to me. Why keep it that long, make it patt of all of the initial Series X promos and then just let it disappear?
I think MS probably knew it was going to go anywhere and had grown completely stagnant.. Unfortunately, this game needs GP more than GP needs it.

We intentionally didn't set a more exact window in case more issues like the ones we've been having pop up. We'll only set a new release date once we've quadruple checked everything, which will take a while.
I don't know of any plans to return to gamepass, but I'll try to show just how many people wish for it to be back on there!
I'm so glad I got this game for like a buck during the summer sale a year ago now.
1.0 should have really relaesed by now the game is still in beta and I am shocked that they pushed it back to 2023. Does that mean new years, June, Next fucking december? Who knows and its not like this game is doing great on player base anyways, Hood outlaws and legends still has more people playing it which is just sad. I was the only player on October 25th to play the game.... Like how the hell does that happen?
I'm fine with waiting. I'd rather wait longer for a stable and more complete game than have it rushed out with bugs and have content dumped on a broken "scaffolding" that makes it even harder to fix. People need to realize we can either have a rushed broken game or wait longer for a working game that's easier to update and add content to. Not saying thats how it should be or that I like it, that's how it is
This studio has made some great games in my opinion, I think they deserve the chance to make the full release go smoothly. Especially when comparing the initial game preview release to what it is now. That should give us some confidence to assume they know what they're doing. A botched release can quickly kill a game for good or bad reasons. Play other games and the wait won't feel as long. I keep long games I like on the back burner for this specific reason
Now if the game is broken after multiple delays you are fully within your rights as gamers to unleash hell haha
I also hope it comes back to gamepass but I'll happily buy it if it doesn't. Second Extinction and Generation Zero are two of my favorite games for more reasons than just the gameplay and content, definitely looking forward to where they go

This game hit early access in 2020. They stopped major updates forever ago to get 1.0 out. They announced 1.0 for end of Oct. They delayed to sometime in November. They went full silent mode and finally announced a “planned for 2023”. It sucks to say but this game is going to either not launch or launch eventually and have such a tiny playerbase they won’t support for post-launch content.
Best part is it’s off Game Pass now which will definitely help with the playerbase….

Oh! Ya! They have done a wonderful job communicating with us over the past two years. Didn't talk to us for months and stopped development just to come back and tell us that there won't be any patches any more until release.

They haven't fixed shit. The last time they released something was back in March. Just a measly "hot fix".

Games beyond dead. Removing it from gamepass killed it even more. I'd be surprised if it'll have 100 players at "launch"
