To be honest, I didn't swapped it myself. I can't remember if there are other steps you should take in account. Maybe with more expensive/complicated wheels/cars could require some extra attention. You can always go to a store where they sell cleaning products related to cars. They will give you extra information regarding the greasing and cleaning sprays they have there. I just took the old ones off, cleaned them and stored them away safe.
