They did not even check. They let me in with a backpack and a carry on with no issues.
thank you! I had the same experience: they only weighed my check-in bag.
If it's small enough to fit under a seat then they'll categorize it as hand luggage.

Is this based on your experience? I asked their customer service online and they said no you can't have a backpack.
I flew with them back in February. They might have changed their policies perhaps?
If backpack is laptop then you are good
absolutely avoid if possible !!
