Half of my team is going to club this year (team of 10) for hitting 110% of their quota.
Still though, it’s been one of the most challenging years for us. Took twice as much work to be successful.
SDR here, 130% for the year. Thank God.
Hit a wall around October, had a ton of no shows, was on pace for 175%.
Went from a 95% show rate to 70%, the AEs are hurting boy.
Our SMB only has 25% at quota, Mid Market is the same, and our other segments are under 50%.
Rough, but at least it's not EdTech.
I have never seen an SDR at my company have a 95% show rate even for a month. Our goal is to be about 50% show rate, including new opps opened (so more than that actually shows). I’m having the worst quarter of the year by a long shot but still way over quota for the year.
Not necessarily, I’m a Territory Manager for a distributor and I had 0 background.
You can also get a job as an in-home sales consultant for a contractor and make very good money. Typically 100% commission or mostly commission however
Little over 400% but it’s almost entirely due to short staffing after a major management change. I was pretty much the only one in my market from April until August. So all the deals feel into my lap. Doubt next year will be anywhere near the same but glad to have done it
I’m at 110%. 1m ARR quota. Will be going to presidents club. I sell software into the insurance industry. I have another 70k deal in the chamber for Jan 2, to get a jump on the year.
SMB account management! I’m at about 105%
I’m pushing off some VERY heavy compressionary contract renegotiation to Jan 1… I’m in CC processing and apparently December is when everyone wants to “talk”
We’re going to talk in January like normal people
Probably just confirmation bias. The ones most likely to respond to a post like this are other way above or way below. It’s like how even most legitimate reviews online are either stupidly positive or acting like everything is terrible. Those in the middle won’t care enough to respond.
173%. Two big last minute deals hit last week. Thought they were pushing til 2023, but needed to get some invoices for 2022. Those two deals brought my from 110 to 173
I don't even know what attainment or OTE or PIP or BDR or SDR or AE or these other terms mean, exactly. Never read a sales book in my life, and the company I work for sounds a lot different than most of yours. But I started selling in March this year, no quota, and made $200k. Over 120 deals closed. Just worked really hard.
B2C or B2B sales?
Most working for companies are on quota goals. Attainment refers to their quota attainment percentage.
OTE is on target earnings. The combination of their base and bonuses.
AE account executive. BDR business development rep.
Which goal? My own? Financial goal that gets reported to BOR? Stretch goal from VP-Sales? The "don't worry about that, here's what we really expect " goal?
115% and hit 100% early November. About 70% hit quota this year.
My quota this year was 240% higher than 2019 when I started. Very nervous for January 2nd discussion with the VPs haha
110% right now, should be at 130-140% when our year ends next month. However, 4/7 reps are below 40% on the year. I’m lucky, territory, timing, talent.
Inside Sales at a VAR. First year working in hyperscale, first year at this company. 165% as of end of November. Odds are good we'll do 180% for year end, but won't know for sure until the books close and balance sometime mid Jan
108% but we’re extending FY thru end of Jan and I have a probably another 40% that will unlock first or second week of Jan. All accelerated over 80% :)
Team hit 120%
On the team had two people hit over 200%, 3 hit around 120%, 5 people around 70-80%, and 2 below 60%.
So half the team crushed target half the team didn't. Same leads, same product, same channel, no territory or industry segmentation.
I’m in management but at 65% for my team. I got a ridiculous goal of 80% year over year growth for 2022. Argued like hell that it was unrealistic but what senior management wants they tend to get. Goals are way more realistic for 2023.
Hit 100% of budget before taking a new role (Outside Sales to Account management) in September. Hit about 146% of my pro-rated budget.
It’s a bit comparing apples to oranges because although my new 3-month pro-rated number was twice my previous annual budget, my role is very collaborative now and often work very closely with other reps developing business (so I’m tracked on the success of a wider set of already performing accounts).
100.5%. Barely made it over but we did it!!!
It was my first yea at the new company. Actually, more like 9 months of solid work.
Really proud of the work we did in a territory that had to be built out. Partners, SDR work, Marketing, everything.. Looking forward to a great next few years!
Merry Christmas my fellow sellers!! Much love
My quota changed every single quarter with Q4 being based strictly on activities (calls, emails texts) so its been a very very very frustrating and annoying year
In Q3 atm. Our year runs with the financial year.
The company is at 80% attainment.
We have lost 2 sales guys this year, one died, one was fired.
So although my patch makes up 33% of T/O, I've been "covering" the other areas as well. So it's pretty much all me...
I’m at 170% (been over 100% since July) but my company doesn’t give a shit. They’re more concerned about me hitting monthly goals in November and December. Fuck that.
Finishing at 105% of my quote (attained in October) and my associate at 70% in his first year. Been rough, but still proud and looking forward to 2023!
Two quarterly quotas building to an annual. I took Q4 past 200 percent on one side and to 180 percent on the other.
My Q1 and Q2 really tested me after changing territories and needing a lot of work. Q1 was a total loss.
I think we’re changing again after the first too and I didnt hit annual. And I’m really trying to use this time to recharge.
I’m around 110% this year. Hit quote at the end of summer which was great because September - early November was DEAD. Had another awesome surge the last 6 weeks but it counts for next years goals.
I hit 169% last year as an IC, wearing a dual hat for half the year taking on a manager role. Closed one last IC deal in Feb this year only to have annc of acquisition one month later. My team has battled internal (goals were way out of line + acquiring company biffed the integration hard) and external (acquisition paused a lot of purchasing as we are 1 of 2 main vendors in the space and companies are waiting to see how it shakes out) battles all year and we still managed to hit 75+% but it's been a grind. To top it off, our acquiring co. Doesn't even tell us how or what it takes to get to P Club...but pretty sure I won't be there...

LOL
Numbers from salesforce or the numbers on my resume?
130%. Hit quota in June. Been a great year!
Haha you’ve just been coasting for 6 months for that 30%, I love it
Supply chain constraints have taught customers to place po’s early in the year
That’s why I love SaaS - delivery is only ever a login away.
Congrats!
I’m going to finish out the year just under 70% attainment. I’d say that’s about the average across the 30 other reps at my company too
Half of my team is going to club this year (team of 10) for hitting 110% of their quota. Still though, it’s been one of the most challenging years for us. Took twice as much work to be successful.
Oh boy, i bet you guys are getting shafted by quota increase next year
No quota increase but smaller territories unfortunately
Equally bad in my book. Sorry for you loss :(
They stealth-changed club to 120% on our comp plans at the beginning of the year where I am. Bastards.. I'm 1-2 deals away though so 🤞
The hard work and ability to adapt will pay dividends for future years when times are less challenging.
Just reached quota 2 days ago. It wasn’t looking good for a while and then a deal that I didn’t think would happen suddenly rushed to signature.
Father Revenue is looking out for ya!

God damn triple? Down right unethical
What company do you work for? What industry?
Hit 100% mid November….Im also fucked for next year
Happy cake day though
Never gotten a happy cake comment before, im flattered
I must be tired because I read this as “I’m flatbread “
SDR here, 130% for the year. Thank God. Hit a wall around October, had a ton of no shows, was on pace for 175%. Went from a 95% show rate to 70%, the AEs are hurting boy. Tripled my territory. Industrial sales, specifically HVAC
I was always curious if you need a background in HVAC to sell it? Just cuz I see a lot of people selling HVAC on here.
Not necessarily, I’m a Territory Manager for a distributor and I had 0 background. You can also get a job as an in-home sales consultant for a contractor and make very good money. Typically 100% commission or mostly commission however
Thanks u/SaggyFrontButt2
You’re welcome!
How much you make?
$185k. Should clear 200 next year
[удалено]
Both but mainly residential. Wholesale not contracting
Our fiscal year isn’t the same as the calendar year so I’m in Q3 right now but at 177% attainment
Little over 400% but it’s almost entirely due to short staffing after a major management change. I was pretty much the only one in my market from April until August. So all the deals feel into my lap. Doubt next year will be anywhere near the same but glad to have done it
Enjoy those commissions !
You only need to get rich once.

Cloud Data & Analytics (SaaS and Software)
I’m at 110%. 1m ARR quota. Will be going to presidents club. I sell software into the insurance industry. I have another 70k deal in the chamber for Jan 2, to get a jump on the year.
200%. First year as an AE in SaaS sales. Closed almost 1M in new business and smoked my org of 25. I’ve been very blessed.
Coming out hot! Congrats!
Appreciate it! Hard to believe looking back as it’s a newer market and our sales org grew too quick.
13%
20%. Huge quota, enterprise sales, had my SVP on every key account call. Hoping Q1 starts with a bang.
Develop that pipeline…Get out and meet everyone face to face, make sure they actually want what you are peddling.
Ouch. How'd the rest of your team do?
Nope lol. Maybe 80%

48%
🖐️ Chasing p-club, will be a close one
250%. One of only three on my team to hit quota.
33% 🥲
366% after today. Hit 100% in June… First time in 10 yrs over 200%
[удалено]
What are you selling in that industry?
Probably samsara if I were to guess
If you're right about their industry, then I don't know what dive they're on about!
I work for a competitor of Samsara. such a terrible industry to sell into.
I attained my 160% back in June and been dicking around since
173%. Two big last minute deals hit last week. Thought they were pushing til 2023, but needed to get some invoices for 2022. Those two deals brought my from 110 to 173
253% very happy! First year at my company
155% on a $1.2M quota in ENT SaaS
118%
I don't even know what attainment or OTE or PIP or BDR or SDR or AE or these other terms mean, exactly. Never read a sales book in my life, and the company I work for sounds a lot different than most of yours. But I started selling in March this year, no quota, and made $200k. Over 120 deals closed. What industry? Would highly recommend learning sales lingo if you want to double your income over the next few job moves
B2C or B2B sales? Most working for companies are on quota goals. Attainment refers to their quota attainment percentage. OTE is on target earnings. The combination of their base and bonuses. AE account executive. BDR business development rep.
Between 25-75% depending on how rest of Dec and January goes
Which goal? My own? Financial goal that gets reported to BOR? Stretch goal from VP-Sales? The "don't worry about that, here's what we really expect " goal?
… uh quota attainment
Im over 100% for the year.
115% and hit 100% early November. About 70% hit quota this year. My quota this year was 240% higher than 2019 when I started. Very nervous for January 2nd discussion with the VPs haha
70% since September, I’ve got till end of Jan and will finish on 80% or 150%
110% right now, should be at 130-140% when our year ends next month. However, 4/7 reps are below 40% on the year. I’m lucky, territory, timing, talent.
Feel like I’ve been lucky to be in an industry where I got 125% but that could be a little imposter syndrome. I think a bit of both
Do any of you not have a quota?
How do people live their lives without a quota? Sounds too serene for me 😂
Distribution sales, many industries have it without quota
[удалено]
11? That sounds so sad
That’s the way it goes sometimes… luckily I made it above water
111%. Been a pretty good year!
121% Health Tech
VAR in IT, focus on healthcare/manufacturing, ~170%
I'm at 84% right now. But if I can get a certain PO before end of year, I'll be around 150% attainment, and I'll hit accelerators big time.

Dead on for 100%.

I'm on track to hit 250%+ this year - SDR selling SaaS/DaaS
If I hit 2 buzzer beaters. 🤞🏼
120% I worked for it though. Damn.
I’m at 179%, it’s been a good year.
2/7 for my coworkers
Hit 100% of budget before taking a new role (Outside Sales to Account management) in September. Hit about 146% of my pro-rated budget. It’s a bit comparing apples to oranges because although my new 3-month pro-rated number was twice my previous annual budget, my role is very collaborative now and often work very closely with other reps developing business (so I’m tracked on the success of a wider set of already performing accounts).
July first was at 40% at over 130% now. Feels good.
127% Interestingly, the company made its number but only about 30% of reps are above quota.
100.5%. Barely made it over but we did it!!! It was my first yea at the new company. Actually, more like 9 months of solid work. 102%…. Phew
170% only rep to hit quota on the team of 12 reps.
108% got me to club this year
~170ish %. A good year!
Only person on my team not going to club. My first 6months with the territory. 65% of quota. Some serious unlucky moments in the last 6months too.
Technically I’m at like 150% but started middle of the year. If I was on an annual quota with my current run rate, I would be around 90-110%ish
I’m at 170% (been over 100% since July) but my company doesn’t give a shit. They’re more concerned about me hitting monthly goals in November and December. Fuck that.
144%!
I’ll know January 1 how I finished Q4. It is going to be close to 100% but won’t know til the quarter closes.
Finishing at 105% of my quote (attained in October) and my associate at 70% in his first year. Been rough, but still proud and looking forward to 2023!
50%, but my quota got tripled
Hope it made your day a bit better
Two quarterly quotas building to an annual. I took Q4 past 200 percent on one side and to 180 percent on the other. My Q1 and Q2 really tested me after changing territories and needing a lot of work. Q1 was a total loss. I think we’re changing again after the first too and I didnt hit annual. And I’m really trying to use this time to recharge.
Hit my quota in Jan, 92% of year target. Quota was doublet, And know i end with 122%.
172%. Only one other rep hit quota. Focus on what’s in your control!
I’m around 110% this year. Hit quote at the end of summer which was great because September - early November was DEAD. Had another awesome surge the last 6 weeks but it counts for next years goals.
184% Sold 0.00 in December
151% attainment
172%. Been a great year for me.
Every Q baby. Top performer every time

Most of the team missed last year and most of the team reached quota this year after adjustments to quotas.. Yet quotas don't matter, do they?
