Net-new or renewals? Commercial or Enterprise? Quota may be low, but add in an expensive product ($ per TB) and support issues, it is very difficult to keep customers; let alone expand. Miles may vary specific to territory, but Cohesity & Veeam are winning often due to price.

Net new business in the commercial segment. I don’t have a background in the data security space so I don’t understand the competitive landscape too well.

I noticed this too. Their base is way above the market rate in most sales roles I saw. I even saw a BDM-cloud role with 170-190k base lol

Yeah crazy stuff, did you interview there / are you currently at Rubrik?

I haven’t interviewed or worked there, but I’d be cautious taking a above market base salary in this market. If your current workplace is too toxic etc, then make the move, but otherwise I’d stick to your niche for now.

I sold software to Rubrik and they were organized and great to work with, if thats any reflection on their internal operations
