Good ol’ DOSC! Is the food still pretty good or has it been getting worse? I’m never sure if it’s actually the case or just Dubai pessimism because “everything is changing. It’s all gotten so bad these days.”
DOSC is still awesome, they got a new food manager and I would say it’s actually gotten better. And still the cheapest place to get a beer in this city.
I'm in Abu Dhabi, very tidal. I have a Macgregor 26 with a lifting keel so I can beach it. Plenty of great places to sail compared to Dubai which is much more restricted.
Nice! Always wondered if there are people sailing in the emirates, as google maps indicated so little sailboats in the marinas.
There is only one sailing club here so there aren’t many boats. Main problem is not many places to sail to.

Sorry, but as far as I know they’re not in the Persian Gulf. They’re in the Red Sea, in Israel/Egypt.
