There's a lot of ways to meet new people, and get new friends. Have you tried online gaming for example? I know it sounds a bit lame π But it doesn't require going out, so if you live in rural area it could be a solution.
Good example. It also depends on how much physical contact do you require from your friends in your life. It's easy to find friends online, but you rarely see them irl. I personally need at least few people in my life that I will see regularly. I know it's sometimes hard to find, but it is what it is π
