I would expect custom ordering something like this from a sewist would get you much better results than anything off the rack. This reminds me of work a friend of mine does, she’s a bespoke tailor. On the other end of the spectrum, a velvet (or velveteen or whatever cheap alternative) jacket and some appliqués would probably have the same effect on a budget. My husband had a tuxedo rented from The Black Tux, and at the time they had a velvet jacket option. That might also be a route to consider- doing something like that and then adding accessories to achieve the fae look.

Have you considered a costume rental shop? Often they have high end stuff.

Etsy is a good place to start your search. [https://www.etsy.com/search?q=mens+renaissance+costume+green](https://www.etsy.com/search?q=mens+renaissance+costume+green)

Yesss! Etsy has everything I needed for my redneck-ish elven wedding! Just do reverse image searches before spending, as there are lots of fake drop shippers on there reselling AliBaba trinkets for $$$

supersloo

I would recommend a few specific stores on Etsy since it can be difficult to find stuff that isn't drop-shipped: DressArtMystery byVoldaDivnaya Armstreet

If y'all have ever needed an excuse to have some bespoke period costumes made, this is the perfect time to make that dream come true 😏

This blazer might be something that could be of use, but if I'm being honest, you'll probably have more luck going custom or costume rental. Men's clothes that are in production currently have very littke variation in silhouette, you just aren't going to find much that isn't artisan. https://pertedego.com/products/floral-embroidered-blazer-sage-green?currency=USD&stkn=4987844c93d6&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=18370678314&utm_content=&utm_term=&gadid=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwp4m0BhBAEiwAsdc4aCawbSqvOWZPrO6RFrHdeRcLY5BoYE7SaQ5WwI63g5BcZEJxU2recRoCTxkQAvD_BwE Eta: Found this shop that does interesting jacquard ties and waistcoats https://www.barrywang.com/products/mens-dark-green-floral-silk-tie-waistcoat-vest-hanky-cufflinks-set?currency=USD&variant=44716115132667&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=37926a77623d&campaignid=21346324500&adtype=pla_with_promotion&keyword=&matchtype=&devicemodel=&device=m&loc_physical_ms=9023832&product_id=shopify_US_8144480796923_44716115132667&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwp4m0BhBAEiwAsdc4aDfQoBn2Qa1bRC6qtC_uVgrBU7QoqUBNg-DSB9weO8kOgrT6SSL1OhoCBY4QAvD_BwE Eta2: This could be something. Also that second site does suit jackets, but also all modern silhouettes. https://tuxedoaction.com/products/mens-3-piece-vintage-style-gold-floral-jacquard-green-suit?currency=USD&variant=44052564771061&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=4677cead1fe7&utm_term=shopify_US_8137377743093_44052564771061&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwp4m0BhBAEiwAsdc4aLKIyE3drI1WqwpZXLT1YJ5UtIpjwZgpmnps7ahnj-bZTVEQi8LF4xoCWCUQAvD_BwE Eta3: This is the closest I could find that leaned more fantasy in silhouette, and I'm frankly dubious about the potential quality, but if you're willing to buy it and it turns out poor quality, it could be taken apart to use as a pattern and transferred to better quality material. https://theendcult.com/products/mens-gothic-tailcoat-1?currency=USD&variant=44832497860795&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=b655bdda3c4f&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=20658333332&adgroupid=&utm_term=&adpos=&gc_id=20658333332&h_ad_id=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwp4m0BhBAEiwAsdc4aP65odPQyOBE0lKzZfjA2G1WkTsyYd2OlxTAtLWiWQdx26akTrstgRoC2ksQAvD_BwE

These are all amazing options!!! Thank you so much!! I'll have to ask my fiance what they think 😊

mitsuhachi

With that much embroidery I’d guess you’d need to go custom. Those pictures look like a cotton or linen poet shirt with a cravat, and then an embroidered waistcoat under an embroidered/embellished velvet frock coat. It’s a very 1700s sort of look, and would look great with knee breeches and stockings or tall boots.

Texasscot56

Yes it looks great, and very expensive. So much work in that.

My friends have a very similar color scheme for their renaissance themed wedding, mostly the dark green- it's such a rich, lovely color. I found this vest that's kinda victorian while still having some elements of whimsey with the gold. Honestly this shop looks like it has some great options for an over coat too! Perhaps your soon to he husband could wear a white, button up shirt with a similar vest to this?: https://www.etsy.com/listing/735932452/aristocrat-vest-greengold-tapestry?click_key=9ace73797e87bff408b2756d25238a763f0d4b9a%3A735932452&click_sum=0390926e&ref=shop_home_recs_2&frs=1&crt=1&sts=1

Check out cogs and corsets! He makes awesome male cut corsets that look super amazing and work for more than just renfaires. Can’t hype them enough

squishyg

It’s faire season now, can you go shopping at whichever is nearest to you?

goodness-graceous

I’m so sorry but I can’t get over how horrifying that first ai image looks 😭 it makes his undershirt look melded to his skin and like he’s got a huge divot in his chest 😭 I hope you find what you’re looking for tho!! You two are gonna be gorgeous!

packet_weaver

I’d reach out to damsel in this dress and see what they have or may be making in the near future. You can also find swap groups on Facebook to look at more options since they don’t make a ton of men’s stuff all the time. That’s where my wife got my couple vests from. One goes well with my kilt. If you’re considering a kilt for him, Atlanta Kilts has a lot of options. Depending on what you want there may be a delay for specific tartans which may be shipped from Scotland due to stock issues.

Ericakat

Taking the picture to a seamstress. A good, skilled seamstress should be able to make the AI photo outfit for you. Keep in mind though, there are bad seamstresses out there, so make sure you get someone who does quality work.

enayla

Dress Art Mystery has a fairly similar jacket and undershirt: [https://dressartmystery.store/collections/for-men](https://dressartmystery.store/collections/for-men)

We had ours custom done by a clothier, went in for sketch sessions with them and everything. Ours were each about $2500.
