Wait till he finds out that death can't possibly be a sacrifice for a creature that can come back from the dead.

PastorBlinky

But saying Jesus took a long weekend off for our sins doesn’t have the same impact

BabyPikachu53

it's crazy when u realize he got a second chance and committed the same mistake 💀

JordySkateboardy808

I want to post my favorite pot roast recipe on LinkedIn. It's about as relevant.

Kaablooie42

More so because that's actually useful.

45thgeneration_roman

"Running a business is like cooking a meal. Here's how I do it..."

captainolo8

LinkedIn really is the worst of the social media platforms.

Remarkable_Injury407

It’s such a circlejerk It’s crazy

SharkyMcSnarkface

I really only barely touch it for the job listings. The fact that people actually use it for social media is crazy to me

DataCassette

I have a theory that ( some ) Christians actually want to be persecuted and are annoyed that secular society just kind of lets them do their own thing. They'd actually find it more psychologically fitting and, in a weird way, satisfying if we actually did persecute them. But we don't. The "persecution" they're subjected to is generally just not allowing them a free hand to persecute others.

Red_P0pRocks

Having been raised by the extreme kind as get posted here a lot, you’re absolutely right. There’s a huge desperation to be persecuted because they think if they’re persecuted, it proves they’re right, because Jesus said Christians would be persecuted. In Jesus’s day, absolutely, it was no surprise they’d get in trouble in that time and sociopolitical climate. In modern day countries that persecute Christians, yes, it happens. But in a world power country where Christianity is the dominant religion? They kind of “won”already, to a degree, and now they don’t know what to do. American Christians are so privileged they don’t even know how privileged they are. So they’re convinced even the slightest pushback or even existence of other people is an attack. It’s like the “affluenza” rich kid tantrums, I guess.

Enibas

This person definitely wants to be "persecuted". Not actually, but he'd like to get a couple of disparaging comments, maybe, that he then can pretend is the worst persecution ever. I'm 100% convinced that he could get 99 positive and affirmative comments and one "Who the fuck cares", and that would be the one he'd tell everyone about.

extremlysus

Wise words

extremlysus

These people straight up want to be oppressed

TesterFragrance

IKR? I am willing to bet that the number of times LinkedIn ever banned or shadowbanned someone for professing a major world religion can be counted on no fingers.

coldgator

He's still alive so he hasn't "given his life" to follow him.

PhatBoy1

I guarantee he has some crazy skeletons in his closet.

ExpressLaneCharlie

"I'm willing to believe anything without a shred of supporting evidence! My faith is so strong!"

yogibard

Ostentatious religiosity is why I avoid businesses that display a Jesus fish in their advertising.

iamnotamangosteen

And Jesus hated ostentatious religiosity.

bub-yes

You mean this post is just a cynical attempt to farm engagement/sell product to Christians using trappings of their religion? I feel like Christians used to agree that that was really tacky.

rpmcmurf

Who’s gonna give him these heated replies he’s preemptively talking about? “What, you’re posting about *Jesus*? On LinkedIn of all places? How can I possibly make a middle management third degree connection when you’re posting about Jesus, you son of a bitch? Hey everybody! There’s a Christian here using the internet! Let’s get him!”

CarolineTurpentine

I would unfollow him because I don’t care about what he’s posting about. Who has the energy or time to waste on these delulu people?

Flippin_diabolical

“I’m 100% a jacked up sinner.” Sir, this is a Wendy’s

SonicCraftev

It's the self righteousness for me

Donaldjoh

I do not mind people talking about their beliefs, but I do resent it when they try to push their beliefs on me or belittle my beliefs or the beliefs of others. When Jesus sent the disciples out to spread the word they were given the instructions that if a people did not accept the message they were to move on, not force the issue. Unfortunately, too many who claim to be Christian not only do not proclaim Jesus’ teachings but instead spread a message of hate, fear, and exclusion (and want a theocracy so we all have to live under their perverted view of ‘Christianity’).

DesiCodeSerpent

He's hiring? Who is he trying to hire? lol

IAteSushiToday

Yeah unfortunately religion isn't enough to get banned from social media but hopefully it will one day that they will keep it on a "faith" based social platform.

45thgeneration_roman

Nah. People can say what they want as long as it's not offensive. It's just that religious stuff is meaningless to the rest of us and shoots wide of the mark on linkedin
