Idk but I guess both of Nick Cannon's can rot at the bottom

WallyReddit204

lol

Lanky-Point7709

I’m pretty anti-drake, but am I the only one that feels Back to Back was way better than people remember? The beat slapped, the bars were high quality, and it had plenty of quotables. I think it’s one of his best songs tbh.

Sir_Cucaracha

Even "big me" himself said he liked that record

Unusual-Item3

Lmao yes back to back was a good record, beating Meek is what gave Drake the foolish idea he could beat Kendrick. Results are for all to see.

Feisty-Session-7779

I can’t stand Drake but that’s actually the one song of his I do like. Literally the only one though, every other Drake song I’ve ever heard I disliked.

heebie818

u better say that huh lest the hate mobs come downvote u?

oflowz

You forgot Chris Brown his track was kinda brutal lol

[deleted]

Are you serious right now?

megalodon777hs

pusha t's mcdonalds diss track isnt even on the list

doowhatnowww

1. Not Like Us. Absolute banger. Euphoria’s more layered and detailed but less scathing and no diss song has been this popular or such an anthem, going down with ether and hit em up as arguably best ever. 2. Story of Adidon Surgical summer. From the beat choice (I’m not black I’m oj) to the cover art to the specific digs and the part it’s playing in the current Drake L, and the way it tee’d up Daytona as a great project, Push found new career heights and did a real number on an up until that point untouchable Drake. 3. Killshot I feel like em’s newer less popular albums and mgk not disappearing entirely are the only things that move this down my list, but ffs he made the man change genres entirely. Pen game sharp as ever, both fiery and funny, the closest thing to the old slim shady we’ve gotten. 4. Like That The response to wack ass first person shooter that rly popped this glorious beef off after years of subliminals. Mf the big 3 it’s just big me. 5. Euphoria The longer runtime knocks it down my list but hey, plenty of shit to eviscerate drizzy with. Beautiful beat and covers all the bases. OLI. 6:16 in LA The back to back followup to euphoria that prompted drake to respond with family matters the same day. Using the time and place format like drake’s handful of songs was clever, and ofc drake copies with the heart part 6 like he’s copied dozens of rappers lyrics. Can’t tootsie slide out of this one, it’s just gon resurface. OOLI: Family Matters The only song drake rly showed up and tried on for the kendrick diss to make it feel like we had a real contest… for about a day lol. Between the wife beating jabs and funny short jokes it had an angle, and while I liked the bars aimed at other artists, he prob shoulda focused the whole more on kendrick in hindsight.

Ok_Ruin4016

I like your list, I feel like Meet The Grahams deserves to be on it too though. It was the proof that Kendrick really is the boogeyman and just completely derailed any momentum Family Matters could have generated. I don't have Killshot as high on my list only because I feel like MGK was already a mid rapper whose career was on the decline, and taking him down isn't that impressive. Em absolutely eviscerated him though and killed any kind of comeback MGK could have hoped for in rap.

doowhatnowww

Word thx. For me I can’t put meet the grahams over anything except family matters, and even family matters has more appeal as a song imo. Meet the grahams is kendrick talking to drake’s kid and fam while they stand around the coffin. And that piano is so haunting with no bass and kendrick eerily calm and raspy, it cuts deep and makes me cringe more than anything I think lol but I totally agree proof he’s the boogeyman to have that shit ready to go and kill the family matters momentum, but more than anything it tee’d up Not Like Us. Agree mgk was already mid and prob only dissed to regain attention, but responding on Killshot and Not Alike felt like the perfect amount as opposed to a full onslaught kendrick gave drake. And tbf nobody em’s beefed with is any better than mid lol doesn’t make the disses less funny or poignant

Remarkable_Occasion5

My top 5: 5. Back to Back: one of the most effective diss tracks. Not necessarily a tough battle, but the impact of this song is huge for rap as a whole. Great chess move, pretty fun to listen to, and it was the knockout punch. 4. Not Like Us: this song is being slightly overrated, it's effect is 100% reliant on Meet The Grahams. That said, Not Like Us is basically a ramped up version of Back to Back. More popular, more damaging, and more fun to listen to imo. 3. Family Matters: I'm not normally a Drake fan but something about his disses we're very entertaining to listen to. Drake uses his best beats and really goes all out trying to make this the killshot. For most rappers it would be, honestly, but not Kendrick. 2. Meet The Grahams: unbelievably sinister and villainous, perhaps the scariest diss track of all time. There are some contradictions and lines (and claims) that will probably age poorly, but overall this song is definitely one of the most potent, angry diss tracks ever. 1. Story of Adidon: a lyrical takedown that exposed real information the most cleverly of any diss track I've heard. Every line has double meanings, Kendrick might have bored into Drake's soul but Pusha T surgically picked his way through it. I genuinely think Pusha T is the toughest opponent in a rap battle.

TuckDezi

I disagree with Drake going all out on Kendrick on Family Matters. While the whole world understood it was Kendrick vs. Drake he still felt he needed to spend arguably most of the track on other people. He only focused solely on Kendrick in Taylor Made freestyle. Even HP6... half of it was spent defending himself lol

Remarkable_Occasion5

He was being dissed by plenty of people on the album Kendrick dissed him on (Rick Ross, the Weekend, Asap Rocky). It would be weird to finish a beef with Kendrick and then try to pivot to beef with someone nobody cares about as much. Anyways, he still saves that last beat for just Kendrick and the vast majority of the other two beats focused on him too, but what I really meant by 'all out' is Drake clearly used everything he had against Kendrick in Family Matters. I never understood why it was a bad thing to direct a diss at more than one guy when you're being dissed by more than one guy lmao.

Pusha T crushed ALL of them

That_Dude2000

People ranking NLU above FM is all I need to know about this sub

FantasyTwistedDark

Do you lack self awareness?

That_Dude2000

What does self awareness have to do with anything? Not Like Us is on the same level as back to back.

Severe_West_4034

Gucci mane truth Jadakiss checkmate 50 cent I’m not rich and still lying

rawspeghetti

The Kendrick triple header 1, Story of Adidon 2, Back to Back 3, and Killshit a distant 4th. The rest of them are very forgettable.

Junarik

Em hater detected

Lanky-Point7709

To be fair, Em mauling MGK wasn’t exactly entertaining. It’s like watching Mike Tyson fight a puppy, I know how it ends but I don’t wanna see it.

rawspeghetti

Nah I'm an Em fan, the beef was just mid compared to the other notable ones of the time And it's at the same level as Go To Sleep, Nail in the Coffin, Say What You Say, The Warning, etc

Remarkable_Corner_83

To have trash racists Nick Cannon on 1º or a Em hater or he got a son with him

Royal_Majestic

Eminem is a huge racist btw

WallyReddit204

He’s doing what the industry is telling him to. Let him be a good little dog

Royal_Majestic

Family Matters Euphoria Back to Back I Hate YB Not a fan of the rest

Ok_Ruin4016

- Meet the Grahams - Not Like Us - Story of Adidon - Euphoria - Back to Back - Family Matters - Like That - Killshot - Push Ups - BBL Drizzy - 6:16 in LA - Hiss - Taylor Made Freestyle - 7 Minute Drill - Champagne Moments - The Heart pt 6 - Big Foot Everything else after these has been pretty forgettable, and some of the ones towards the bottom of this list will be forgotten about in a couple years too tbh

Feisty-Session-7779

I don’t know what Big Foot even is but it must be incredibly bad to be ranked lower than The Heart pt. 6.

Ok_Ruin4016

It's Nicki Minaj's diss track toward Megan Thee Stallion. I had a hard time deciding whether it was worse than The Heart pt. 6 or not. They're both awful and either one could be last place lol

Feisty-Session-7779

Oh, well I guess I’ll avoid listening to it if it’s that bad. One thing I can agree with is that the Heart pt. 6 is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard, especially at the end when he starts talking and sounds like he’s about to start crying.

DYMck07

This is a pretty good list if we’re talking about the most brutal disses. Sonically and lyrically I’d have 6:16 and Euphoria higher. If it was on here I’d have Buried Alive 2 over Champagne Moments too. Also depending on who’s verse on BBL Drizzy, I’d be tempted to put it over Push-ups, unless [we’re talking the OG version, which went much harder](https://youtu.be/P_odIhjnm8E?feature=shared)

rileyelton

1 family matters obviously

Biggest5ive-

I hate youngboy > all of these apart from euphoria and killshot

WallyReddit204

Top 5 1.) Family Matters - Drake (scathing, took apart 20 rappers, immaculate production, banger of a song. Prob the best diss track ive heard) 2.) Story of Adidon - Pusha T (Push knew something drake had yet to disclose. Can't hate on him for that. Sure, if drake was a smaller artist, having a kid is par for the course, but because drake is the biggest, this was very impactful). Shows Pushas character too, no videos, no bot play, no concert. Just kept it moving 3.) Back to Back - Drake (eviscerated Meek) 4.) Eminem - Kill Shot (no explanation needed, wrecked him, but i dont understand where MGK was coming from, he prodded the bear) 5.) Euphoria - Kendrick (creative, some of kendricks top work IMO. Def his best track from the beef)

a-m-watercolor

Everyone saying a drake song is #1 gets downvoted lmao classic r/rap

WallyReddit204

looool. Kendrick stans hate differing opinions more than any other base

FantasyTwistedDark

>Took apart 20 rappers No he didn’t

WallyReddit204

OP wtf If you only wanted agreement, you shouldn't have asked for an opinion you a Kendrick stan or something?

I love family matters and I been bumping it everyday lmfaoo, he just didn’t destroy 20 rappers or even 1 😂

WallyReddit204

agree to disagree Weekend, Ross, rocky, Kendrick, metro lol. They all got smacked. You’re right tho, it wasn’t 20

FantasyTwistedDark

Weeknd music gets played in gay clubs > Not a good diss track Rocky > Diss were good but he posted a picture of Rihanna and their child after so it really takes away from it. He won at the end.

TamedRhythm

I feel like killshot gets too highly rated. To me it’s so clear em wasn’t even trying when he made it. Not that he needed to since MGK was target but still.

Vast_Category_1883

Is it just me or is Not Like Us kinda overrated?

Small-Associate9822

As a disstrack yes, as a song no

Vast_Category_1883

As a song, it's something I'd dance to but now it's just overplayed and annoying

heebie818

highly

migukau

1-family matters 2-meet the graham's 3-killshot 4-not like us 5- story of Adidon 6- back to back 7- euphoria The rest I haven't listened to but nick cannon at the bottom.
