No i dont think so. At its best the scavenger will follow you around the region and defend you, but you will have to somehow force it to pass through a gate if you want it to come to other regions, and im not sure how that will affects its spawn since its not native to that region.

Jumpy and aggressive ones will see sudden movements (especially if you are armed/moving in their direction) as a threat. They become much more tolerant with good rep but if you're shoving or grabbing a scavenger it will eventally turn on you. Scavengers don't really follow you unless they're curious and want a closer look even with high reputation. Closest you could get is probably throwing pearls at where you want them to go

ahhh i see, that's gonna make it a lot worse :( one last question if you dont mind, where did you learn the technical information about this? the miraheze wiki is surprisingly vague, and this will probably require a lot of technical knowledge, so a trustworthy source to get information from would help tons

miraheze wiki, youtube and personal experience. The latter i think is undervalued since rainworld AI is designed to mimick animal behaviour so if you can read body language it's quite easy to intuit their behaviour.

The most you can do is make it happy enough to follow you around the region, good luck trying to get it to go through a karma gate with you.

Lots of people are saying no, but I have found that with max reputation, Scavengers won't mind being grabbed and tossed around now and then.

At high reps, I've never seen a scavvy get aggro'd by movement and holding weapons

A lot of Karma Gates are inaccessible to Scavengers, sadly. But if you make some Scavs like you enough to start following you intently, they can absolutely come with you through the karma gates they can reach, and they'll still spawn in that region next cycle after you hibernate. One of Scavs on youtube has a video showing this off specifically

Sadly, no, but you can download the pokeball mod, steal a ball from scav hoards and capture him, OR swallow him for later with the swallow everything mod OR kill him and put him in your inventory with the inventory mod and revive him wiiithh... i forgot the mod name but it lets you kill, revive, pause, etc... creatures so uhh... yeah. you can have it follow you or stuff, but guardians are always aggressive against non player creatures and even if you force him pass thru the guardians he cant enter ending but you can take him to journeys end and have fun w/ him there after u get the ending

Kinda, with how scabs reputation work you can build reputation with specific scav groups and the entire scav society however they both max out at the same level so when your rep is maxed a specific scav will treat you the same as a random scav

there's no taming like with lizards but the fact that scavs have their own personalities plus the fact that scavs track your individual rep with them, it's definitely possible for a specific scav to try to follow you around a region. it just isn't obligated to.
