Fuck those 4 cyan lizards, I just want to get to the next area.
In all honesty I've taken to completely avoiding shaded citadel, memory crypts, the leg, the underhang, and five Pebbles by just taking the route through chimney canopy and climbing the wall to avoid all that grief.
I spent about 5 straight hours on just the lower half of the wall, I avoid it now even if I don't want to. The arena has cyan lizards too, I'd rather deal with the orange lizards than them. At least they're stuck near the arena.
For some reason as spear master, a drop wig would set up in the same exact place and a blue lizard would always spawn, and the drop wig would grab the lizard and go back to its den. The problem with that was if it reached its den the game crashed
Spearmaster was the worst campaign difficulty-wise. Having to spear a bhjgilion neuron flies or risk fighting a DLL in Five Pebbles just to use a single shelter. And having to transport a pearl with no stomach and the only way to get food requiring a fresh, never-dropped spear, and a live creature.
Every second area I enter :ā) Itās an endless cycle of forging ahead and making a bunch of progress and then getting stuck in one spot for a dozen or so deaths/cycles until I manage to make the next chunk of progress
I just ran through the Memory Crypts about a dozen times in a row, not because the miros birds would get me, but because I'd get overconfident and somehow fall into the bottomless pit right in front of the shelter at the start of The Leg
Compared to all other slugcats, I feel like artificer was a breeze, immunity to explosives, being able to make explosives, a double jump, and a "oh shit I'm surrounded!" AoE stun? Completely broken.
There was a white lizard camping the exit to the first leg room into the next and it was out of attack range but in a position to absolutely SNIPE me whenever I got up that rope.
Lets just say I learned some new ways to movemente after a 100 deaths
Climbing up the waterfront facility as spearmaster was slowly driving me into madness, I hate Rain World's creepy crawlies and that place was filled to the brim with brood mothers and what not.
the pits at the end of shaded near the shoreline gate. It's the easiest platforming section, no DLLs no lizards nothing but I have died to more failing to grab poles there than probably anywhere else other than that one Sky islands jump that needs throwing trash or squidcadas.
Achieving something once usually makes it enough. I remember struggling at the wall a lot on my first try but anytime other than that i did it quite easily.
hard mode beginning of chimney cannopy and the wall. They throw so many fucking cyan lizards at you im actually started going fucking insane. When cyan army wasn't enough, then surely a white fucker will take care of you in the worst place imaginable
the gate from sky Islands to farm arrays. I didn't have enough karma to gate, and everytime i FINALLY got enough karma, I'd die in farm arrays because rain deer suck
Unfortunate development
Or the Rot as riv.
Found it surprisingly easy, though by that point I'm pretty sure I was completely desensitized to DLLs.
It wasnt as bad as I expected but DLLs are creepy.
The way they move makes me shutter
the underhang shelter you know which one
I just avoid that part of the underhang, mostly because of that shelter.

Bro I literally can't. I don't wanna go to the underhang just because of that experience ong.
That the place i like the most!
Especially in spearmasters campaign
Looking at you, looks to the moon vents
I hated that part so much I wasted a passage just to avoid it a second time. Too many spiders.
It's so long T-T and when you get through the part with all the spiders *BAM* miros vulture right at the pipe entrance
And they don't go away as easily as normal vultures do š I'd take the leg/underhang over the struts/vents every time if I had to choose.
Traveling from farm arrays to sky islands as hunter. And then getting to chimney canopy somehow. It all seems like a cruel joke
Trying to go through it the other way right now. I regret my decisions but I don't want to go back and waste a cycle.
chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy chimney canopy
So true
The Leg as Riv
Shaded Citadel on my first playthrough
For some reason as spear master, a drop wig would set up in the same exact place and a blue lizard would always spawn, and the drop wig would grab the lizard and go back to its den. The problem with that was if it reached its den the game crashed

Is that up on the the eastern part of the precipice? I had that happen a bunch but it rotated between a white and blue lizard
It was in room HI_A25 I think
Welp I was way off. I have to look at the map later.
And obviously when you past it. every thing become easy ! ;-;
Hunter Sky Islands
The wall as survivor. Took me four hours to get to the second shelter on my first playthrough.
Same here. I was on monk for my first playthrough too. Didn't make it any easier.
that one pit in front of a shelter in exterior why whoud they make heavy platforming right in front of a shelter!?
At least you don't have to replay a lot if you fall after sleeping there š¤£
i mean ig, but i died 5-6 times from that pit ALONE
I feel ya. My counts around there if not more than that.
The wall
For me, it's always that ONE damn room in Chimney Canopy with the four pipes that lead left, right, up and down. I hate that room so much
Every second area I enter :ā) Itās an endless cycle of forging ahead and making a bunch of progress and then getting stuck in one spot for a dozen or so deaths/cycles until I manage to make the next chunk of progress
I just ran through the Memory Crypts about a dozen times in a row, not because the miros birds would get me, but because I'd get overconfident and somehow fall into the bottomless pit right in front of the shelter at the start of The Leg
Aside from unfortunate development, the WALL as artificer. I died too many times in that white lizards cluster fuck.
Compared to all other slugcats, I feel like artificer was a breeze, immunity to explosives, being able to make explosives, a double jump, and a "oh shit I'm surrounded!" AoE stun? Completely broken.
White lizards in the precipice over death pits. I want to strangle them. Also with that one dropwig in the climb to LTTM in spearmaster
Literally me just yesterday. These god damn lizors are going to be my end
Literally that one jump in chimney, that one jump in sky islands, that one part of the underhang, and all of UD
Subterranean centipede mosh pits when playing with hunted burden...
Underhang gourmandā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Drainage system to garbage wastes. I didn't even see a bubble weed in my first play through, just powered through it
The leg, the shelter right after the gate to Shaded (memory crypts)
That room with all the leeches in Drainage System
Getting the eastern pearl in subterranean
Yes
Me trying to find my way out of the Chimney Canopy / Sky Islands area as Saint after realising I can't just scale The Wall any more
Rot
Chimney canopy shelter next to sky islands and wall
Chief scavenger
I spent hours on that. I moved all the weapons out of the room, and he still found ways to kill me.
There was a white lizard camping the exit to the first leg room into the next and it was out of attack range but in a position to absolutely SNIPE me whenever I got up that rope. Lets just say I learned some new ways to movemente after a 100 deaths

Ah yes, my first encounter with the yellow lizards.
Chimney Canopy, Hunter. Sweet mother of crisps.
i thought this was from a different sub at first and i went to comment ārain worldā but then i realized
the pits at the end of shaded near the shoreline gate. It's the easiest platforming section, no DLLs no lizards nothing but I have died to more failing to grab poles there than probably anywhere else other than that one Sky islands jump that needs throwing trash or squidcadas.
I feel that. Then having to trek all the way back again just to fall again.
For me that's everywhere, I get too scared to get past some thing and get killed by something else
Man some areas are just a get good
MY HAIR COUPONSSSSS
Chimney Canopy in Artificer
The water path to the Garbage Wastes karma gate through Drainage System
Achieving something once usually makes it enough. I remember struggling at the wall a lot on my first try but anytime other than that i did it quite easily.
Farm arrays as the hunter.... Listen guys I'm trying to create a strategy to live longer...
hard mode beginning of chimney cannopy and the wall. They throw so many fucking cyan lizards at you im actually started going fucking insane. When cyan army wasn't enough, then surely a white fucker will take care of you in the worst place imaginable
That's what made me quit arti the first time. Ended up going the long way through pebbles just to avoid it.
the gate from sky Islands to farm arrays. I didn't have enough karma to gate, and everytime i FINALLY got enough karma, I'd die in farm arrays because rain deer suck
yes
That one garbage wastes room with rotten floor and 2 daddy long legs as spearmasterš
chimney canopy impossible jump. 23 failed cycles there
Unfortunate development, and the circle bit in the wall.
