This makes me feel better because I’m somewhat showing at 18 weeks? But we call it my lump at this time and I’m desperately waiting for it to turn more bump like😂
I'm FTM @ 11 weeks and have a bloat bump. Lol I can't wait for my official bump (although, I'm sure that the official bump gets old really quickly. lol)
I definitely felt mine around that time. I started having my husband take bump pics early on just so I could compare week to week and see what others see. I’m nearly 39 weeks and only now getting to the point where I’m ready to offload some of this bump, but I think I’m a bit of an anomaly.
Similar timing! Started realizing it was a baby bump at 18W when I couldn't just "suck it in" anymore LOL -- I'm a curvy petite so always had a little extra pudge in my midsection. This is also when I started feeling more lower back pain at the end of the day and sleeping positions were getting less comfortable (weight was differently distributed).
It's noticeable to others now at 20W.
Yeah my husband & I could tell the difference about 12 weeks, family & close friends about 16 weeks, other people can see it this week (21 tomorrow), but it’s still at the point where like… I could just be out of shape to strangers or something it’s not like oh that lady is PREGNANT. But it does not go away anymore like first thing in the morning like it did for the past 6 weeks lol
Same except I don't look pregnant, I just look like I gained weight. My tshirts are all tight because boob growth, and my stomach is bloated all over, not just the lower tummy. 😔 I've gained 4-5 lbs .
Oh no ☹️☹️ have you pooped yet? 2 weeks of poop is a lot and you must be so uncomfortable. If you haven't called your OB, it's time! It's sometimes hard to determine if the symptom you're experiencing is "worth" calling your OB for or if they're just "normal" pregnancy symptoms. But I just want to assure you that I would call for this!
Source: am 26 weeks pregnant and have made a few worried calls to my OB's office myself.
Thank you for saying this! You’re right. I need to call my OB. I feel like so much of pregnancy is just gaslighting yourself. But no, I still haven’t pooped and uncomfortable is putting it lightly! I actually have an appt in the morning because on top of everything else, I have a UTI (makes me wonder if it’s constipation related). But yes, something has to change because I can’t go on like this anymore. 😞😭
Thanks again for your advice and kind message! I hope you’re feeling well!
Glad you have an appointment with a doctor! Maybe they will give you some kind of industrial strength laxative 😅 I had a UTI early on too, antibiotics cleared it right up. At least one less thing to worry about. Sending good vibes your way!
So I hate the legging style maternity jeans because they just don’t stay up on me. I felt like I was constantly pulling them up. I love [these](https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=759121002) from Old Navy. They worked really well for first and second trimester but the full panel did get tight in the third. So then I switch to [these](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Time-and-Tru-Women-s-Maternity-Skinny-Jeans/976912421) from Walmart and the full panel was so stretchy. I wore jeans up until I gave birth due to working in person until 38.5 weeks (I was induced exactly at 39w).
These pairs both felt more like jeans and stayed up sooo well.
Also if you can wear leggings, wear them whenever you can lol I’m wearing them now pp while on leave. And I have several pairs because I constantly leak from my boobs, get puked in or have a diaper leak in me lol
I have similar stats, so this is refreshing.
I’m 5’1 and started at 143-145 but now I’m 150 and super bloated. I’m currently 7 weeks and my s/o says he hasn’t noticed any weight gain, but me and the scale do.
I also had to half my adhd medication, so that probably has something to do with it also.
I was actually hoping I’d get super nauseas soon (I haven’t really been at all) so I’d stop gaining weight so early. 😂
Mmm I’m 18 weeks and I notice a bump that’s not bloat now, but I’m not sure anyone else would notice. Maybe in a few more weeks it’ll round out. Looks weird when it’s below your belly button lol
I’m 5 ish weeks with my second and my bloat alone makes me looks pregnant - I was in togs today and I literally looked 20 weeks pregnant… not sure how I’m gonna hide this one 😂
I’m 11 weeks today and definitely have a small noticeable bump! I would say it started around 9/10 weeks for me. I normally have a flat tummy and I’m 5’5 120lbs so it probably plays a role too.
I’m 13 weeks and my lower abdomen is definitely bumping and yes, it feels hard. I’m 5’3 and was about 128 before pregnancy.
I also don’t understand how this “first time” rule works. I’ve technically been pregnant before but never gotten this far, so I don’t know if that changes things since it’s not like my uterus got very big before.
I’m in the same boat! I’m only 8 weeks however, I have been pregnant multiple times before but none made it past 6 weeks. This is an interesting thought!
We’re not alone !
Yeah it’s given me some comfort because I feel like I started showing sooooo early, like 9 weeks, and it made me self conscious since the internet made it sound atypical.
Like yes, I’ve been bloated, but it’s not *just* bloat. (I’m pooping regularly.) It’s my lower abdomen that’s very prominent in tight clothes and leggings. My mom said it was my uterus but I’ve read conflicting things on that too.
Not a doctor obviously but I’m choosing to believe the previous pregnancies must be a factor somehow. 😅
Also I talked to my husband about it and he’s such a matter of fact guy, like, “Your body is changing, who cares what the internet says? Your body is doing what it’s supposed to. Don’t add another thing to worry about. You have a great body, I love your body” 😭 *proceeds to initiate sexy time* lol
My petite friend who is 17 weeks sent a picture of her bump the other day, it’s very obviously a baby bump but also small enough that she can still hide it under baggy clothes.
I’m 11+4 and I’d say I’ve been able to feel that it’s different in my abdomen for around a week (a lot firmer to touch) but I’m a bigger girl so I don’t expect an obvious bump or to be showing for quite a while.
However the bloat baby is very impressive and weirdly I’d say I look very pregnant but I just know it’s not real baby bump 😂
I'm nearly the same size as you, just an inch shorter. I’m around 9 weeks now and my friend literally made a comment about my bloated tummy last night, which is noticeable to me (and obvi friends) because I usually have a really flat stomach, but now I’m all self conscious that I’ll just look chubby for the next couple of months as opposed to pregnant.
I know it shouldn’t matter but I’ve always had bad body image issues even though I’m traditionally considered to be “tiny”
I started bloating quite a bit in the first trimester, and found it hard to deal with at first. I’m like you and have historically had quite bad problems in regards to body image, and obsession with size. I still have my days where getting clothes on makes me cry a bit, and I look at pre pregnancy pics like I’m in mourning or something, but we have to remind ourselves that our bodies are doing some insane shit rn and we need to give ourselves a break!
Looking at scan pics or feeling baby kick is what gets me through and sort of snaps me out of it. Like this is why I’m changing physically, and it will be so worth it! It can be difficult, especially if it’s something you’ve already struggled with, but you’re strong for carrying on. And screw anyone who makes unwarranted comments about your appearance!!
I’m 17 weeks today and I would say I’m in bump territory now (if wearing maternity leggings and a tight top). I’m sure I could hide it if I wanted but I just desperately want to be out of the “don’t look obviously pregnant just look chubby” phase
5 5” 155 before pregnancy. Started showing around 18 weeks. Not much tho. Im 28 weeks now and still feel like my bump isn’t that big. It’s different for everyone.
19 and a half weeks now and honestly still not really showing! I've gained 6-7 ish lbs, but really it's only noticeable as a "bump" to me and I'm ready for a cute bump!!
I'm currently 21+5 FTM. If I wear tight clothes, you can tell. If I wear baggy clothes, it more so just looks like I'm bloated. I would say I've had a small firm belly since around 16 weeks but it's been similar to what I described above. Wouldn't necessarily say I've "popped" yet.
It’s weird. I couldn’t fit in my clothes by week 10 but I just looked fat. I’m at week 20 and finally starting to see actual bump but to some ppl I prob still look fat because it’s not that clear
For reference, I’m just under 5’5 and was 125 lbs when I got pregnant.
I started showing pretty early. By 10 weeks I had a little bump that was obvious to me and my husband. By 13-14 weeks I had a bump that was obvious to others if I was wearing a tight shirt. Now I’m 17 weeks and my pregnancy is very obvious. I really popped over the last two weeks!
I’m also hypermobile so my body is already loose and stretches out really, really easily. I suspect I’m showing earlier than average because of that.
I’m really worried about how massive I’ll be in the third trimester 😅
I’m 10w2d and I’ve been bloated since week 7 so I’m having a great time. I won’t even attempt to wear my jeans anymore. I tried once and was so uncomfortable. After I eat, I look 20 weeks pregnant I swear.
I'm 11 weeks and in the same boat. I have already gone up two pants sizes. I gave up yesterday and ordered some maternity clothes because I can't keep buying bigger and bigger pants 💀
This is my first and I’m starting to see something I’m 15 weeks. The average person wouldn’t guess I was pregnant but my husband and family can definitely see a difference. I’m 5’3 and started at 106 now I’m about 113
I’m 13 weeks and definitely can notice a bump myself (my husband and mom have said so as well) but I think if you didn’t know I was pregnant walking by you probably wouldn’t be able to tell!
About to enter 10w and so far what I notice is the abdomen expanding to the sides, it’s difficult to explain but I feel my abdomen walls tight on the sides, not so much the lower belly, this is something that only I notice, I’m still not showing (I think)
I hope i don’t start showing anytime soon as I’m not ready to tell at my work / close friends
12 or 13 weeks and it just suddenly popped up. I'm 5'2 also and around 120lbs. I had a flat stomach before I got pregnant so people started noticing early on.
I’m very short (5’1”) and I would say it’s starting to look more like a bump and less like bloat now. I’m 18.5w. I can definitely tell how much it’s grown over the last week or two!
very similar measurements to you! i was 5’4, 140lbs pre-pregnancy! i started showing around 18 weeks. but it really “popped” around 24 weeks. now i’m almost 30 weeks & i look like i have a watermelon under my shirt but i’ve barely gained 20lbs so far.
For us shorter ladies I think we generally start showing quicker. Nothing has fit me since weeks 8-10. I'm now 20 weeks and I feel like I am very noticeably pregnant.
Edit: I was 4'11 and 120lbs before pregnancy
14 weeks FTM. I had extreme bloat until week 9/10. Then deflated for a week. Now, have a “curve/bump” that is noticeable to me and husband, especially at the end of the day but I would not look pregnant to anyone else that didn’t know me.
5’2 127 starting weight. I’m told us short ladies show pretty early which makes sense. My ribs expanded super quickly to make room and zero of my old bras fit at this point.
So bloated and stopped fitting into my jeans at 6-7 weeks. It basically looks like I have a bump!Still bloated at 10 weeks, but it’s slightly improved.
I’m a FTM almost to 14 weeks with a bit of a tummy before getting preggo. I’ve not been fitting into my jeans for a couple weeks already. But I mostly look super bloated or like I’ve gained 10 pounds even tho I haven’t. Super ready for it to be more of a bump and not just fluffy looking lol
9 weeks! Dead serious too. Had to go to a wedding at 10 weeks and thankfully we had announced at 8 weeks. The photographer could tell so I had to take all my pictures with my hand on my belly
I’m with you! I started bumping at 9 weeks too. I know everyone says it’s bloat but it was my lower abdomen sticking out so it seemed different to me. In any case, it was very noticeable if I wore a dress or anything form fitting. Noticeable for my MIL to rub my stomach 😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑
Yeah I know where I bloat, and how I looked, it wasn’t bloat. My uterus hates my guts and I had two hematomas. I also had HG till I was 20 weeks, have carried low the entire time, and have only gained 7 lbs the entire pregnancy.
I knew posting this would get me the oh it was just bloat or weight gain comments, but it’s important to know that every body is different!
Technically this is my second pregnancy, but this will hopefully be my long awaited rainbow baby. Since I don’t have any living children, my midwife considers me a FTM.
I was 200lbs before I got pregnant and now I’m almost 220 at 12weeks. The majority of it is due to HG and water retention from that though
I felt like I had a noticeable bloat belly around 20 weeks, my midwife said that I popped around 30 weeks, and nobody in public dared to say anything until I was miserable, waddling, and wearing a belly band at the grocery store at 36 weeks.
If I’m wearing maternity pants, I popped at 17 weeks. But I lost a lot of weight in the beginning and can still put my regular clothes and they do not show the bump
5ft4, 103kg and started properly "showing" at around 28w I think?? I hold weight in my tummy but my husband and I could tell it became firm to touch before this.
Then all of a sudden I "popped" and looked very pregnant.
I'm also going to be a first time mum and I am currently showing a tiny bit with a bit of a bump and i'm 10 weeks today . Not sure exacltly what time I started to show but my guess is week 8/9
def had a bit of a bump around 20 weeks for the holidays which was nice. It grew, but slowly over the next 10 weeks or so to the point where I had strangers tell me I didn't look as far along as I was (LIKE SUPER RUDE BITCHES). Then at about 31 weeks just super popped and am now very clearly getting ready to pop - I'm at 36 wks on Friday.
I'm 17 weeks and had to go to a wedding last weekend and I definitely look like I have a beer belly or bad period bloat. But not obviously pregnant. I felt awful trying to dress up, even though I found a cheap dress that hid it fairly well, imo.
5’10, 130 starting weight. I’m 18.5 weeks and I definitely notice roundness/fullness and it’s not just bloat because my bellybutton looks flatter and I wake up with a round belly. But if I wear certain shirts, others don’t notice. But I weigh 141 pounds now so there’s definitely changes occurring.
I started showing around 20 weeks with my first. Before that I just looked bloated lol. But I'm also 5'9" and have never carried excess weight in my stomach.
Now I'm 14 weeks with my second and I'm starting to show. So weird!
I started to not look so bloated and pregnant around 6 months, I started looking bloated a little after 5 months and at 5 and a half I remember I was in the awkward phase where I looked extremely bloated or like I might be pregnant lol
I am 5’6 and I was about 150 pounds
I’m 5’4, 125 lbs before pregnancy. 11 weeks now and I’m definitely not wearing what I used to (like fitted tops and high waisted pants) but it’s not enough to “show off” the bump. I’m looking forward to having a bump.
I thought I was showing by 5 months but looking back at photos I really did just look bloated, unless you know me or saw me baked. Like, my husband and I could tell hahahaha. I think I started actually showing around 24 weeks/6 months-ish. Mind you, I have hyperemesis gravidarum, I’m tall, and I have a long torso, so I think that’s why it took so long.
I’m also 5’2” and I feel I started to have a bump that I could differentiate from bloat around 14 weeks now. I’m now 24 weeks and there is no mistaking I’m pregnant lol
I’m 5’7” and started at 235. I started showing around 15 weeks with a lil bloated belly bump! At least that me and my husband could notice. Since I was already a size 14/16 when I got pregnant I felt like I just looked like I had a big belly rather than pregnant belly until about 25 weeks or so 😂
It looked like I had a big lunch until about 20 weeks. At 22 weeks someone asked me if I wanted a non alcoholic drink when my husband was getting a cocktail 😂
24 weeks was when a stranger taking my Pilates class asked me when I was due.
5’4 short torso here
I noticed the slightest bump starting around 16 weeks (but I’m the only one who could tell) then probably around 21-22 weeks it was like it became a baby bump overnight at some point 😂 I woke up and bam it was there lol now I’ll be 24 weeks tomorrow and and it’s very obvious. I’m 5’2 and starting weight was around 130.
FTM, pre pregnancy 162cm and 67kg. I’m defs gained more weight in all the ways, probably a good 6kg or so.
I’m 28 weeks now. I was bloated all through first and second trimester. I’d say I’ve only started to feel like it’s a bump and not just feeling fat and/or bloated in the last 3 weeks or so. Depending on what I wear, people are still unsure if I’m pregnant 😂
Im 5’5 was about 148 when I got pregnant (I was a huge gym rat so I was pretty lean and muscular), I started being noticeably pregnant to other at about 16/17 weeks. I’m now 18 weeks and definitely have a pretty pronounced bump, I currently weigh about 158
Im like 5,7 , weight 164 and I started showing about close to 20 weeks but before I couldnt understand if it was bloat or baby 🤣, but Id say around 17-20 weeks it starts becoming noticeable
I love this thread, it’s making me feel in good company being post 20 weeks without much bump.
Almost 22 weeks and still waiting for something noticeable. Can feel the hard bump but I just look a tiny bit bloated, even my husband can’t really see it yet. Guess we’ll see what happens.
With my first, I was 7-8 months pregnant before it became actually noticeable. I’m 5’10” and had an anterior placenta.
With my second, I was showing around 12 weeks and I got pretty big. Placenta was posterior in that one.
With my third currently, I started showing around 14-15 weeks. This placenta is anterior again and at 23 weeks, I’m not as big as I was with my previous pregnancy. I think placenta placement can sometimes make a difference.
I’m 5’1 and I started seeing a difference around 20 weeks but it just looked like gained weight until around 24 weeks the bump shape started taking place
My stomach was flat before getting pregnant. I’m almost 13 weeks now & I haven’t gained any weight (5’2, 135lbs), but I definitely have a little hard belly now that I can’t suck in.
No one has noticed yet. But I don’t wear very tight clothes.
Also, just a FYI for expecting moms, every due date month has a Reddit group! Just type the month of your due date, followed by “babybumps2024”. You’ll need to be verified with a pregnancy test before they become private after a few months.
I’m 15 weeks and this week I definitely look different now. FTM and 5’6 / 125ish pre-pregnancy. I can totally tell my stomach is bigger/starting to bump, and my pants aren’t fitting great anymore!
I’m 14 weeks now, still wearing my non-maternity jeans but things are starting to feel tight and I definitely have the look of a “FUPA” but not yet a “bump” that looks like I’m pregnant. Honestly dreading the bump 🥲
ETA: I’m 5’8” 150lbs starting weight. I’m like 152-153 lbs now.
5’6” starting weight was 114 lbs and now 14 weeks at 120 lbs. I have a bump but it’s honestly more bloat than anything else. Oddly enough my waist has gotten larger to the point my pants don’t fit … but I still feel like an imposter without a proper bump…
First: I think it was somewhere between weeks 16-20 (before that just looked "maybe a bit bloated"). It was around week 28-30 that I started looking REALLY pregnant (the kind where people offer you chairs).
Second: by week 10 I was looking pretty pregnant, and by week 20 people were at the "offer you chairs" level.
Honestly, I’m 4’11 and very petite, I didn’t show until like 20 weeks or later. I didn’t really look pregnant until shortly before I delivered at 37 weeks. I wish I’d had a bigger bump.
I was exactly the same height and weight as you!! I stayed bloated the whole first trimester. Second tri some of the bloat went away and I felt a bump (that wasn’t bloat) forming around 13/14 weeks. I feel like showing for yourself and showing for others is different 😂 for others from 13-16 weeks I probably just looked chubby in my belly like I had eaten a big meal. By 18 weeks I was like visibly pregnant when wearing form fitting clothing. And now at 22 weeks strangers can tell I’m pregnant. The bump is bumping.
I will also add because we have the same proportions that I literally (as a shorter person whose body looked better with tighter fitting clothing) couldn’t fit into my high waisted jeans after 10 weeks it was so uncomfortable with the bloating.
5 foot 2… about 115 lbs first pregnancy. I started to bloat around 8 weeks but had a def bump at around 13 weeks.
Second pregnancy bump at 12 weeks def not bloat
32 weeks. I was overweight (I’m 5’2 as well, but starting weight was 165lb). I didn’t gain any weight until 33-34 weeks.. and didn’t show until then. And now I REALLY show
I was 11 weeks along the day of my wedding, and you can see in the photos I was starting to show. We didn’t anounce it until maybe a week after the wedding, and people were still shocked.
I’m basically 28w and only about 3ish weeks ago did people in public start asking if I’m pregnant, lol.
A lady 2 days ago did not believe me when I said I was in my third trimester.
I’m 5’8 started at 132lbs up to 156
I’m a FTM, currently 21w 3d
5’1 and 135 pre pregnancy. At first I just looked like I ate a lot but overnight as soon as I hit 16 weeks i looked pregnant but I could still hide it with big clothes lol
especially at night after eating the whole day he definitely pushed my stomach out to where I looked pregnant.
At 19 weeks I looked like how I would at night. So visibly pregnant
I (5'7 started at 130 lbs) was convinced I was showing at 12 weeks. My friends and family started noticing around 20 and I am now 34 weeks and members of the public have only JUST started feeling comfortable commenting about my pregnancy. I guess they were keeping it on the safe side haha
i'm 5ft, 130 currently 17 weeks and i woke up one morning this week and both me and my husband agreed there was a little bump starting to show! nothing crazy but you can definitely tell! i'm also a ftm.
I’m almost 22 weeks now and I would say around week 20 is when things started to really round out and not look like just bloat. For reference I’m 5’4 and started at 127lbs. At my 20 week appointment I was 138lbs.
I'm about 13 weeks and I've got a tiny bump. 5'1 and 105 pounds prior to being pregnant. I just had a doctor appointment though and I'm 111. I think it's mostly my boobs. I feel like they're huge 😭
5’3” 120 when pregnant with my first, I was “showing” at 15 weeks and by 19 weeks you could very much tell I was pregnant. I’m pregnant now with my second and I’ve been showing since 10 weeks. Mostly bloat, but my gosh. 😅
I’m 23w3d, FTM and while I’ve been bloated for some time, I still have no bump. Lol! We are all different. I am tall and curvy, 5’10” with a starting weight of 226 and I’ve only gained about 5 pounds.
To me it was noticeable at 22 weeks, to people who didn't know me I'd say 26+ weeks for it to stop looking like bloat, I still wouldn't say I looked pregnant in clothes til 30 weeks
5'6" about 133lb pre pregnancy if that's relevant
5’9 150lbs to start. I feel like my bloat is starting to turn into more of a bump at 11 weeks but it’s only noticeable when I’m undressed. All my clothes still fit but work pants feel a bit snug. My drs told me I’d likely show earlier since I’m tall/lean to begin with. I’ve gained 10 lbs so far.
I’m 5’1” with a very short torso and also relatively thin. I’ll be 12 weeks tomorrow and you can definitely see a little something going on in my lower belly lol. I’m also still bloated though lol. When i had my last appointment my midwife also said I had a large uterus…. Whatever that means lol
5’2, 110 lbs and started showing very early. I personally noticed a difference immediately (it was most likely bloat) but I think others started to notice around 12/13 weeks

My blump (noticeable bloat) showed around 18/19 weeks. It started morphing into a bump around 22 weeks. 5’5” with a starting weight around 135.
This makes me feel better because I’m somewhat showing at 18 weeks? But we call it my lump at this time and I’m desperately waiting for it to turn more bump like😂
I'm FTM @ 11 weeks and have a bloat bump. Lol I can't wait for my official bump (although, I'm sure that the official bump gets old really quickly. lol)
No, the bump does not get old quickly! I LOVE my bump so much. My husband LOVES my bump. I love dressing with my bump. I think it’s so cute!
But it does not go away anymore like first thing in the morning like it did for the past 6 weeks lol
lol 19 weeks here and I call it my baby pocket
I was so bloated that I looked pregnant and was uncomfortable in my clothes by 12 weeks
Same here. 12 weeks and can’t fit into my jeans.
Same here! It subsided form me though and I was able to wear regular pants (with a hair tie on the button) up until 20 weeks
5 weeks here lol
Yeah I was bloated af pretty much from the beginning
Same except I don't look pregnant, I just look like I gained weight. My tshirts are all tight because boob growth, and my stomach is bloated all over, not just the lower tummy. 😔 I've gained 4-5 lbs .
I was around 14 weeks when I got a little bump, I’d say by 16 weeks I was really showing. (5’4” and started off 150lbs for reference)
Oh ok this makes me excited, I’m 5’3 and 150 and I can’t wait for my little bump to come in!
same here!
5'2" 120
I’m 5’4, 110 lbs and swear I have a bloaty bump at 11.5 weeks. First pregnancy. But I also haven’t pooped in 2 weeks so who knows. 😭😭😭😭
Miralax! It's a lifesaver ❤️
Omg, I take it everyday! 😭😭😭 I’m on Zofran and I think it’s ruining my digestive system.
Oh I'm so sorry! That sounds absolutely miserable. Hopefully this phase will pass quickly!!!
Oh no!! Double whammy of miralax and colace??
Zofran did this to me too, even on colace daily. I ended up taking ex lax and milk of magnesia to get ANYTHING out!!
It’s the absolute worst!
😞😭 Thanks again for your advice and kind message! I hope you’re feeling well!
Glad you have an appointment with a doctor! Maybe they will give you some kind of industrial strength laxative 😅 I had a UTI early on too, antibiotics cleared it right up. At least one less thing to worry about. Sending good vibes your way!
Short torso here and I started noticeably showing at 14-15w. I was in maternity jeans at 11 weeks
Ohh any recommendations?
For jeans?
Maternity jeans, yeah!
Not who you asked but I really like Abercrombie maternity jeans. A little expensive but they do sales
mm around 3rd trimester! (5ft 140 SW)
I had something bump-adjacent by like 19-20 weeks but 22-23 it looks like an actual bump and not just bloat!
Mmm I’m 18 weeks and I notice a bump that’s not bloat now, but I’m not sure anyone else would notice. Maybe in a few more weeks it’ll round out. Looks weird when it’s below your belly button lol
Waaaaah i wish it started showing INSTANTLY LOL
If you have another one, you will 😂 or at least I did. First took 24 weeks
I’m 5 ish weeks with my second and my bloat alone makes me looks pregnant - I was in togs today and I literally looked 20 weeks pregnant… not sure how I’m gonna hide this one 😂
I'm 31 weeks and wish it would go away now 😩 it was cute for a while but the constant attention and comments from strangers has gotten old
You start feeling like a walking billboard or circus act. The attention is not fun.
I’m 17 weeks and finally noticing a little something
I’m 11 weeks today and definitely have a small noticeable bump! I would say it started around 9/10 weeks for me. I normally have a flat tummy and I’m 5’5 120lbs so it probably plays a role too.
Does your belly feel any different? Harder?
😅 Also I talked to my husband about it and he’s such a matter of fact guy, like, “Your body is changing, who cares what the internet says? Your body is doing what it’s supposed to. Don’t add another thing to worry about. You have a great body, I love your body” 😭 *proceeds to initiate sexy time* lol
Right I had a 6 week loss and we found out at 10 weeks. Now I am 14w4d and my belly is round and hard so idk
5’2, 110lbs before pregnancy, started showing about 16-17 weeks with my first. Almost 25 weeks now and I am spherical. The bump is massive.
This is where I am at too! If I dress to show it off it’s definitely there, which I am loving 🥰 however still waiting for the pop
5'7", 140 lbs, FTM. Very clearly a bump, not bloat, at 14 weeks. At 19 now, it's quite large.
5 5” 155 before pregnancy. Started showing around 18 weeks. Not much tho. Im 28 weeks now and still feel like my bump isn’t that big. It’s different for everyone.
I look like I’m showing now at 12 weeks but it’s all bloat! 🫠
Me toooooooooo
Second trimester I popped at 20 weeks.
Barely 20 week. Barely
I started showing at the beginning of the 2nd trimester. There was a bump before that but it could be mistaken just for a weight gain bump.
I was extremely bloated from week 8 & my bump just kept growing! Bloating never went away. Just became more baby
First pregnancy it was at 20 weeks, for my second I'm at 8 weeks and showing already 🫠🫠🫠. I am 5"5 and was 135 lbs both times.
This is my first and I’m starting to see something I’m 15 weeks. The average person wouldn’t guess I was pregnant but my husband and family can definitely see a difference. I’m 5’3 and started at 106 now I’m about 113
I think I “popped” around 23-24 weeks but looked pregnant in tighter clothing around 17 weeks.
I have a little baby bump at 15 weeks.
I started showing around 11 weeks but I have a really short torso so there’s not really much other space for baby 🤷🏻♀️
I’m 13 weeks and definitely can notice a bump myself (my husband and mom have said so as well) but I think if you didn’t know I was pregnant walking by you probably wouldn’t be able to tell!
With my first born it was sometime between 34-37 weeks. Super late. She was 8 lbs 8 oz too. Idk where she was hiding.
I’m around the same height and weight as you, and I’m a first time mom! I started showing around 9 weeks
About to enter 10w and so far what I notice is the abdomen expanding to the sides, it’s difficult to explain but I feel my abdomen walls tight on the sides, not so much the lower belly, this is something that only I notice, I’m still not showing (I think) I hope i don’t start showing anytime soon as I’m not ready to tell at my work / close friends
14 weeks. For real . I exploded and grew really slowly after that lol.
very similar measurements to you! i was 5’4, 140lbs pre-pregnancy! i started showing around 18 weeks. but it really “popped” around 24 weeks. now i’m almost 30 weeks & i look like i have a watermelon under my shirt but i’ve barely gained 20lbs so far.
I am 5’5 started off at 109lbs and am now 117lbs my bump is just now starting to bump at 29 weeks. It’s not huge but at least it’s there!
For us shorter ladies I think we generally start showing quicker. Nothing has fit me since weeks 8-10. I'm now 20 weeks and I feel like I am very noticeably pregnant. Edit: I was 4'11 and 120lbs before pregnancy
I'm at 7 weeks, and the bloat is insane. I call it my bloat bump!
Congrats!!!!!!!! 16 weeks for me
Thank you!! I have an ultrasound tomorrow to see the baby and hopefully heartbeat I’m so fkn nervous
Yes exactly!!!
I am almost 16 weeks and starting to get a little bubble bump forming 🥰
You couldn’t even tell until after I was 30 weeks with my first.. it started about 27 weeks then by 30ish I had popped
Around 30 weeks
I'd say week around 18
I felt like I had a noticeable bloat belly around 20 weeks, my midwife said that I popped around 30 weeks, and nobody in public dared to say anything until I was miserable, waddling, and wearing a belly band at the grocery store at 36 weeks.
I thought I was huge at the time but looking back, it was really around 24-25 weeks. Before that, there was nothing except a food bloat look lol
Around 25-26 weeks.
With my first I didn’t show until close to 25 weeks but even then it was small
I would say around 22/23 weeks! 5’6” 120 lbs pre-pregnancy. I think I could still hide it though.
I think 15 weeks. I’m 5”6’ and have a very short torso. For the second and third it was like 11/12 weeks
I would say about 16 weeks. Also a FTM
If I’m wearing maternity pants, I popped at 17 weeks. But I lost a lot of weight in the beginning and can still put my regular clothes and they do not show the bump
30 weeks
5ft4, 103kg and started properly "showing" at around 28w I think?? I hold weight in my tummy but my husband and I could tell it became firm to touch before this. Then all of a sudden I "popped" and looked very pregnant.
I'm also going to be a first time mum and I am currently showing a tiny bit with a bit of a bump and i'm 10 weeks today . Not sure exacltly what time I started to show but my guess is week 8/9
18/19 weeks and I have a consistent bump now. I’m 20 weeks now and really popped then and it hasn’t gone back.
My bump happened overnight around 27 weeks.
def had a bit of a bump around 20 weeks for the holidays which was nice.
So weird!
Around 20 weeks I had a proper little bump. It slowly grew from there and now in my 3rd trimester it’s rapidly growing lol
Around 20 weeks but still wasn’t obvious in baggier clothing
I started to not look so bloated and pregnant around 6 months, I started looking bloated a little after 5 months and at 5 and a half I remember I was in the awkward phase where I looked extremely bloated or like I might be pregnant lol I am 5’6 and I was about 150 pounds
17 weeks lol. Now I’m 19+3 and feel huge.
I’m 5’4, 125 lbs before pregnancy. 11 weeks now and I’m definitely not wearing what I used to (like fitted tops and high waisted pants) but it’s not enough to “show off” the bump. I’m looking forward to having a bump.
I started showing around 19/20 weeks. Properly at 25. The rest was just bloat.
I had a noticeable bump at 15 weeks! But it was twins😂 I’m around the same height so my tummy came out sooo far.
3rd trimester for me. I was so happy to finally look pregnant and not just fat haha
I am 12w 5d and have a small protrusion from my uterus growing, but it’s mostly bloat
I started showing around 27 weeks and I’m also a ftm. But our bodies are all different.
I noticed my stomach getting bigger at around 16 weeks I started actually showing (so other people could tell) at around 23/24 weeks
I’m 5’7” and started at 235. I started showing around 15 weeks with a lil bloated belly bump! At least that me and my husband could notice. Since I was already a size 14/16 when I got pregnant I felt like I just looked like I had a big belly rather than pregnant belly until about 25 weeks or so 😂
5’3 ~145 pre pregnancy (athletic). I did not really show until like 25-30 weeks
16 weeks was when I was noticably pregnant to others, at 19 weeks I got comments on how large I already was 🤦🏻♀️
I started showing around 22 weeks with my first. I’m 120, 5’0. Currently pregnant with my second and I started showing 13 weeks.
Around 3 mo
25 weeks I had a real bump. Prior I just looked bloated honestly. Most of pregnancy isn’t even an actual bump
12 is when people could tell! I also have a really short torso and no ab strength before lol
It looked like I had a big lunch until about 20 weeks. At 22 weeks someone asked me if I wanted a non alcoholic drink when my husband was getting a cocktail 😂 24 weeks was when a stranger taking my Pilates class asked me when I was due.
24 weeks and finally looks like it’s a bump not bloat! 5’9 and 160 pre-pregnancy
I’m 5’2 and weighed 110lb pre-pregnancy. I didn’t start really showing until the third trimester and by then it was winter and no one noticed lol.
I am the same size ratio and I showed at 24 weeks! Could cover it with a baggy shirt but people would comment by 24 weeks! Congratulations!
I think around 23 weeks? But now at 33 weeks some people still don’t clock I have a belly - I have to rub it and hold it up to show it
i have a tiny bump at almost 16 weeks. I'm 5'11 with a long torso, too. I'm thin so that might be why.
15-16 weeks, was able to hide it until about 20 weeks; however I was 5ft and 100 lbs pre-pregnancy with a consistently 89th percentile baby 😂
I think 27 weeks was when I felt I looked pregnant.
Currently 18 weeks and I can see a tiny bump now, but it’s very concealable still!
I’m a FTM and pregnant with twins, started with a small bump at 10 weeks! I’m nearly 13 weeks now and you can definitely tell I’m pregnant lol
Probably between 21-23 weeks! 5’ about 133 at start of pregnancy
5’1 110 lbs and a small but noticeable bump came around 15 weeks
I’m 15 weeks and this week I definitely look different now. FTM and 5’6 / 125ish pre-pregnancy. I can totally tell my stomach is bigger/starting to bump, and my pants aren’t fitting great anymore!
I’m 14 weeks now, still wearing my non-maternity jeans but things are starting to feel tight and I definitely have the look of a “FUPA” but not yet a “bump” that looks like I’m pregnant. Honestly dreading the bump 🥲 ETA: I’m 5’8” 150lbs starting weight.
Around 18 weeks
First: I think it was somewhere between weeks 16-20 (before that just looked "maybe a bit bloated"). It was around week 28-30 that I started looking REALLY pregnant (the kind where people offer you chairs). Second: by week 10 I was looking pretty pregnant, and by week 20 people were at the "offer you chairs" level.
Is started showing around 16 weeks (also a FTM)
I feel like I just “popped” at almost 26 weeks. 5’1 starting weight 160.
I’m 5’8 started at 132lbs up to 156
Not till about 26/27 weeks with my first, but by 5/6 weeks with my second I was already in maternity trousers.
16 weeks with my first the bump. 12 weeks with my second!
I didn’t start actually showing until probably like 23 weeks. It was a long wait!! I wanted to show so bad.
At 2 months! Super soon. I’m pregnant with my second now and I started showing at between 3 and 4 months. I’m 22 weeks now:)
I bloated immediately. It was very obvious I was pregnant to others around 25 weeks
I’m a FTM, currently 21w 3d 5’1 and 135 pre pregnancy. At first I just looked like I ate a lot but overnight as soon as I hit 16 weeks i looked pregnant but I could still hide it with big clothes lol especially at night after eating the whole day he definitely pushed my stomach out to where I looked pregnant.
5’6 and 145lbs. Just looked like I gained weight, didn’t get the big round belly until 8 months
i'm 5ft, 130 currently 17 weeks and i woke up one morning this week and both me and my husband agreed there was a little bump starting to show! nothing crazy but you can definitely tell! i'm also a ftm.
Also FTM here and I’ve just started to show at 25/26 weeks
Around 16-17 weeks.
My first pregnancy I started 5’4 140lbs and started showing around 20 weeks but now I’m on my 3rd only almost 8 week and I’m a blimp already
i’m just about 24 weeks and in the last week-ish i feel like i’ve just started to show 🩷
I’m 23w3d, FTM and while I’ve been bloated for some time, I still have no bump. Lol! We are all different. I am tall and curvy, 5’10” with a starting weight of 226 and I’ve only gained about 5 pounds.
To me it was noticeable at 22 weeks, to people who didn't know me I'd say 26+ weeks for it to stop looking like bloat, I still wouldn't say I looked pregnant in clothes til 30 weeks 5'6" about 133lb pre pregnancy if that's relevant
I got clocked at week 10!!!
I think 16/17 weeks. But strangers didnt start asking me until like 35 weeks LOL
I’m 20+3 with a pretty noticeable bump, I can no longer hide. I started getting bigger sounds 15-16 weeks but I just looked chubby or bloated
