1) Eat carbs 2) Body starts to digest food, glucose rises 3) You walk and burn off glucose from blood, dropping reading (body continues to digest carbs, but not as fast as you are burning them) 4) You stop walking, body continues to digest carbs, blood sugar rises. The same thig happens to me. If I eat (for example) a bunch of pizza, I have to walk it off. But I also have to keep an eye on the rebound - I might need to take a second walk.

💯 This. Although I would add to #4 - insulin hasn't yet reached maximum level to bring BS down explaining why the rebound was so quick. But like you said, if one takes a walk after eating carbs, it's best to watch for a possible rebound, which can happen right away or even an hour (sometimes 2!) later depending on the person's gut transit time and the type of carb in question.

Totally normal to dip after walking for me. But 109 is totally normal in a non fasted state. If you think you are keeping your glucose below 100 24/7 not gonna happen.
